1、尝试通过各种形式的学习，例如复述课文、把课文改编成情景剧、阅读竞赛等活动，提高学生学习英语的兴趣，从而达到自主积累、综合运用英语的目的，并指导学生运用科学的方法记忆单词、阅读课文，取得事半功倍的效果。

2、通过信息技术与学科整合的手段，以课内为基础，增加课外阅读的量，指导学生借助信息手段和工具书理解文章基本内容的方法，提高学生的英语自学能力。

3、以复述课文、回答问题、判断正误、通过上下文线索猜词义为载体，培养学生的综合阅读技能，提高学生的英语阅读理解能力。

我的爱好我说出来大家都会熟悉——书!只要有适合我看的书，我都会如饥似渴地读起来，“读”得不亦乐乎。说起书，我俩简直可以称作兄弟。我跟书有如此深厚的感情，得从我四年级暑假的一天中午说起。

当时，我正对梁羽生的武侠小说着迷。那天中午，大约11：00左右，看看表，里吃饭还有一段时间。于是，我欣喜地从书架上取出一本梁羽生武侠小说《武林天骄》，如饥似渴地读起来。读着读着，我仿佛身临其境，主人公的旅程我仿佛也是同行者之一。一小时后，奶奶喊我吃饭，我却听作主人公和其他人物的对话，所以没搭声。奶奶又喊我吃饭了，这次我却听到主人公与邪恶势力斗争的厮杀声，武器相撞的“当当”声。第三次，奶奶走进我的房间，当她拍拍我的肩头时，我正读到主人公拍拍小弟弟的头，我欣喜若狂，在书的“梦境”中自以为是主人公拍拍我的头。奶奶喊了我的名字，我心里“嘭嘭”跳个不停，因为我听到主人公喊我的名字，我心想：太不可思议了，大英雄居然知道我的名字。我在忘我的状态下读了全书的1/3。当我的魂魄被无情地钩回来时，我问奶奶吃饭了吗。不想奶奶却说：“还吃饭，都几点了。”我看看墙上的咖啡猫挂钟，一看不要紧，却下了我一大跳，咖啡猫的肚子上显示2：00!天哪，我居然看了3个小时!

不知为什么，那件事后，我跟书结下不解之缘，每次我都会读得入情入境、不亦乐乎，也就成了我生活中不可缺少的一部分，同时也成了我灵魂的一部分。
