I like to watch movie so much, because I can learn a lot of things. Comedy

is my favorite type of movie. Every time when I watch it, I will laugh out

loudly. I find so much fun in comedy. It helps me to be humorous and make a lot

of friends. A humorous person is always favored by all, as he can bring

The shortage of housing is one of the most serious problems facing many big

cities in China. Though the government has spent a large sum of money on

housing,the investment has not been very resultful and a housing shortage still

exists. Two generations sharing one room and newlymarried couples finding it

difficult to have a house of their own are still common cases. Housing shortage

is a problem that requires an immediate solution.

Peoples attitudes towards the solution to the housing problem are

different. Some suggest building more tall apartment buildings; others believe

that we should develop underground housing areas. I am in favour of the former

opinion. For one thing, it is cheaper to build upward than downward. For

another, living underground for a long time will do harm to peoples health.

Above all,people are unwilling to live underground with artificial lighting and

they prefer to live normally on the ground to enjoy the sunshine.

Although there may be some other ways to solve the housing shortage

problem, I believe to build more apartment buildings is one of the feasible

solutions to the housing problem.

今年的元宵节，我们一家是在奶奶家过的。奶奶提前就对我们说过：“元宵节是很热闹的，因为元宵节我们老家有这样一个风俗习惯。”大街上挂着许多好看的花灯，我听着就产生了强烈的兴趣，过了大年就眼巴巴地盼着元宵节快些到来。

元宵节终于盼到了。晚上，我吃完饭就带这妹妹蹦蹦跳跳去看灯。我们一口气跑到大街上。喝!灯真多啊!这里来一条“龙”，那里来一条“龙”，扭扭摆摆的满街都是，五彩缤纷，鲜艳夺目!看的人也真不少，不说是人山人海，却也拥挤不堪，热闹极了。

只见那些龙灯张牙舞爪地时而降下，时而腾起，有时“龙”的肚子几乎都碰到地面了，却又一跃而起。这样不断上下翻滚，真是姿态万千。我的眼睛跟着上上下下，简直应接不暇了。

看啊，那边还有狮子灯。那狮子就像活的一样，它那凶恶的样子，一眼看去，真能吓得你后退三步;然而，它那笨拙的体态，又使人担心它究竟如何，可是当它舞动起来以后，却是那样灵活，十分可爱，只见它张开口，两眼里分别装着的手电筒，炯炯发光，露出一副百兽之王的神态，球灯闪到哪里，它就扑到哪里。甚至还做了一个“脸朝大地肚向天”的“翻肚”动作，引得人们喝彩不迭。

这一夜，到处都是“咚咚锵锵噼噼啪啪”的声音，到处都飘散着爆竹的硝烟味，到处都洋溢着欢歌笑语;游动的灯笼和闪烁的电灯汇成了一片灯海。这个元宵节过的太开心了。

经过一个多小时的颠簸，我们终于到达了目的地。我下车一看，啊！这还是以前的老家吗？怎么变化这么大。只见以前通往姥姥家的那条土路已经变成了宽阔平坦的柏油马路。放眼望去，马路两边种满了枝繁叶茂的小树，村庄后面是一望无际的绿油油的稻田。看着这绿油油的稻田，我感觉就像在看风景画一样。

来到姥姥家，眼前的现象使我惊呆了：这是姥姥家吗？我是不是走错门了？只见呈现在我眼前的是一座红砖绿瓦、宽敞明亮的房屋，屋内家用电器样样齐全。曾记得以前的姥姥家住的房子又破又旧，房顶破烂不堪，一到下雨天，进到屋内，简直是外面下大雨，里面下小雨，就算拿十个盆接也不够。家里除了妈妈刚给老爷买的那台收音机，其它东西都破的不成样子。谁知几年不见，老家就发生了这么大的变化，真使人意想不到啊！

到了家里，姥姥告诉我：“这几年托党改革开放好政策，农民的日子是过的一天比一天好，你看，原来的土房、瓦房都变成了宽敞明亮的楼房；以前泥泞的路都变成了宽阔平坦的大道。家家户户都买了摩托车，人们都提前奔小康了！”

变了！真的变了！改革开放使人们的生活变的越来越好了！

在过去的20xx年里，发生了许多事，如：举办残奥会，温州动车事件，但这些过去的事并不重要，因为新的一年，20xx年来到了。

今年，我在老家——诸暨，过年。下午，爸爸，妈妈，大伯，爷爷，奶奶，忙碌着做年夜饭，而我和哥哥，则在一旁打游戏。

夜幕很快就降临了，我们守候在餐桌前，看着爸爸和大伯端上来的一道道美味佳肴，这里面有香气四溢的酥鱼，肥而不腻的红烧肉，也有酸甜可口的糖醋里脊和糖醋排骨，还有鲜辣美味的多椒鱼头，令人目不暇接，看着看着，肚子以“咕咕”的唱起了交响曲，闲话不多说，我们开吃了，先尝一尝香气四溢的酥鱼，在喝一喝鲜辣美味的多椒鱼头，我和哥哥吃着一碗又一碗的米饭，这可不是应为我们胃口大，只能怪精心准备的饭菜太好吃了。虽然我肚子里已经装不下了，但我嘴巴里还在嚼着，没办法，因此，我只好忍痛割爱。哎！这也就是没有办法的办法。至于红包嘛！早已在之前，钻进了我的口袋里。

吃完了年夜饭，可肚子也随之大了起来，现在要放鞭炮了，哥哥带来的鞭炮，可谓就是五花八门，其中，有火炬模样的，有那种一长串的，也有航天火箭似的，还有像老虎的，我们拿出一小部分鞭炮，把导火线点燃，过了一会儿，“砰，碰，噼里啪啦”

鞭炮炸开了花，响声如雷，颜色五彩缤纷，形态各异，有的好似美利达圣火，有的仿佛就是金黄色的流星，还有的像运河边上那翠绿的垂柳，真可谓就是刘姥姥进了大观园——眼花缭乱。在这一阵阵爆竹声，我不禁想到了这句诗：“爆竹声中一岁除，新春送暖入屠舒”。

然而，此时此刻，龙年的脚步已经临近了，龙年的钟声即将敲响······

春节大扫除

Like every young girl, I pay attention to make myself look pretty, because

I had a very happy day yesterday. In the morning I played computer games ， that was great! And in the afternoon I went jogging alone and I listened to music. I ate a great dinner at night and went to bed early.

The Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, usually

in February or March in the Gregorian calendar. As early as the Western Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 25), it had become a festival with great significance.

This days important activity is watching lanterns. Throughout the Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), Buddhism flourished in China. One emperor heard that

Buddhist monks would watch sarira, or remains from the cremation of Buddhas

body, and light lanterns to worship Buddha on the 15th day of the 1st lunar

month, so he ordered to light lanterns in the imperial palace and temples to

show respect to Buddha on this day. Later, the Buddhist rite developed into a

grand festival among common people and its influence expanded from the Central

Plains to the whole of China.

Till today, the lantern festival is still held each year around the

country. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets,

attracting countless visitors. Children will hold self-made or bought lanterns

to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "Guessing lantern riddles"is

an essential part of the Festival.

Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the

lanterns. If visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out

and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. If they are right, they will

get a little gift. The activity emerged during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in

the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of

wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also

called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is

small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean

paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling.

Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s

more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning

reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the

family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern

dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and

beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent

lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks

from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local

governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first

full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing

fireworks and bright moon in the sky.
