《当代小学生》内容丰富，知识面很广，对我的学习有很多的启发，所以，我和爸爸妈妈每到晚上临睡前， 我们会一起读三十分钟的书，然后每个人谈一下读书后的感想，记得有一次，我读了一篇《掀被角和盖被角》后，我知道了妈妈是多么的爱自己的孩子，我转过身搂着妈妈说：妈妈我知道你爱我，我也爱你。我看到妈妈高兴的笑了，我也觉得很幸福。书中还有很多小故事让我特别感兴趣，我特别喜欢的还有一篇《自作自受的小狐狸》，书中小狐狸本想设计一个陷阱捉弄一下小花猪，可是最后却自己掉进了它设计的坑里，我看完以后，哈哈大笑，然后，我和爸爸妈妈讲了这个故事，爸爸说：“小朋友在学校也是一样，和同学间一定要相互帮助。相互学习。不能去打架不能去嘲笑别的同学，更不能去伤害同学。不然，就会小狐狸一样，到头来，一个小伙伴也没有了，自己害了自己呢。”我拍着胸脯和爸爸妈妈说：“我才不会呢，我会做一个好学生，好孩子，不打架，不嘲笑别人，妈妈放心吧。”

我现在己经是二年级的学生了，老师说我课堂上爱举手，爱提问，还积极和同学讨论呢，这都是读书带给我的好处，通过读书。我知道很多道理和知识，我还知道很多很很久以前的事情呢，有时候我还会把《当代小学生》中的故事或者知识讲给弟弟妹妹，她们也都很喜欢听，妈妈说我自从爱读书，更自信更可爱，更让别人喜欢了呢。有时候看着妈妈捧着厚厚的书在读，我就会去问：妈妈，你读的书也有小动物吗？也很好看吗？妈妈就会说：“书中自有黄金屋，书有自有颜如玉。”虽然我不明白这句话，但是，我明白，妈妈常告诉我的另一句话：书是人类的好朋友，是人类进步的阶梯！

假期生活Life In Vacation

It was a sun day of the summer holiday. The weather was hot. My little brother and I decided to go to the resrvoir to swim by bike. It took us half an hour when we got there, many people were swimming. Then we dived into the water……

About an hour later, suddenly somebody called: “help! help!” We were surprised to see a boy struggling in the deep water. As quickly as possible. We swam towards him and pulled him to the shore. He lost his consciousness. We sent him to the nearest hospital at once luckily, he was saved.
