I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. 国庆节期间，我跟爸爸去了鲁山游玩。这个地方，我并不熟悉，开始认为鲁山就是个小山头而已，没什么可玩的，但到了之后发现：原来还有这么个好去处！

初到鲁山，站在道旁往远处看，只见山连着山，峰连着峰，云里雾里，若隐若现，大有一幅“修仙之处”的气势。

顺着山路走了一段之后，就听见哗哗的流水声，见四周有几条弯弯曲曲的小河顺着山道流下来，我不禁想：水是从哪里来的呢？我边继续前行，边寻找答案。原来，在前方不远处有一处瀑布。只见它：水流清澈，好似银河。飞流直下，如万马奔腾，自有滚滚之水天上来的派头。这鲁山，便在这水的衬托下，更彰显出生命的活力。

鲁山的陡峭，也颇让人心惊胆战。

经过瀑布，只见前面一块巨石横挡住去路，上书：云梯。抬头往上看，好一个云梯，真的是高耸入云端啊，好似通天之阶。站在上面，不敢向下看，冷不丁的瞅了一眼，有股眩晕与惊恐的感觉即刻充满全身，吓得我赶紧往上爬。

气喘吁吁的到达顶峰：鲁山极顶。鲁山极顶高1108。2米，是山东四大高山之一。站在极顶向下望，只见横亘连绵，飞瀑流泉，森林茂密，仿佛走进了绿色的海洋。

当我下山的时候，发现与上山的路不同，路竟然越走越窄，到了“一线天”的时候，就只容的下一个人了。两旁巨大的山石向中间靠拢，正好夹住一块较小的石头，上方只透的一丝光线进来，故名：一线天。

鲁山之行，领略了大自然的鬼斧神工，一次愉快的行程。

在家能做些什么呢：上网，打游戏，读书，看报，做作业……总之就是找事情做来消磨时间。我选择了上网，在网上看到这样一则新闻：“男子华山求婚，没地方下跪。”看来旅游景区的人还真是多。国庆嘛，不出去也能知道到处都洋溢着喜气，家家张灯结彩，人人心情开朗。不用想也知道，商场，超市，肯定又在搞活动，促销;饭店，宾馆的收入一定十分可观。在网上查找国庆期间天安门广场的热闹场景：红旗飞扬，火红的灯笼耀眼夺目，礼炮声接二连三，国歌声震耳欲聋，一番热闹的场景，是不是又有可拿出相机拍照留念。再查找查找国庆期间长城又是怎样的一幅盛况呢：雄关万里，孤城绝塞，连绵起伏，长城真的是雄伟壮丽，名不虚传那，又可以不不登临着长城的阶梯，心中肯定会想到祖国的光荣历史，心中难免会涌起一丝丝的自豪感。虽然没有亲身去游览，但在网络上游览一番祖国的山水美景，感觉也不错。

国庆节是一个快乐的节日，人民的生活水平在不断的提高，我们在祖国妈妈的怀抱中快乐的成长。相信祖国的明天一定会更加美好!
