我国的科学技术事业在祖国妈妈72华诞之时交上了一份完美的答卷，那么我国的教育事业又会献上怎样的好礼呢?自从实施九年义务教育以来，我国的“文盲”“睁眼瞎”直线减少，每个公民都有了受教育的机会，都有享受学习乐趣的时机。从小学到初中，可以说我们没有差距，因为我们都在受着同样的教育，可就在中考，高考的那一刻，差距就显现了出来。上了好的高中，好的大学，我们才能拥有一份好的工作，才能得到幸福的生活。

虽说是“三百六十行，行行出状元”，可这一切都源于知识，知识是事业的源泉，没有知识是万万不能的，因此国家更注重“人才”的培养。这跟“钱不是万能的，没有钱是万万不能的”是同样的道理。教育事业的发展一直在为祖国的建设输送着一批批的有用人才。

在这__年的风雨历程中，祖国在与时俱进，各行各业都在飞速发展。我想，在以后，我们的祖国还会取得更多的丰功伟绩!

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11

o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next

I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on

playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day

of my winter vacation.But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the

books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was

very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends

今天，我能来参加此次演讲活动，感到十分荣幸。我演讲的题目是《红岩精神，永放光芒》，希望大家喜欢。

红岩精神是什么?红岩精神是以周恩来同志为代表的，老一辈无产阶级革命家、共产党人和革命志士在风雨如磐的斗争岁月中形成的“爱国、奋斗、团结、奉献”的革命精神。

叶挺将军在1941年“皖南事变”被捕后。蒋介石曾派心腹陈诚前来劝降，许诺说只要答应他们的条件，就立刻给他“自由”，并许以有高官厚禄。叶挺将军挥笔写下《囚歌》答复他们道：

为人进出的门紧锁着。

为狗爬走的洞敞开着，

一个声音高叫着：

爬出来吧，给你自由!

我渴望自由，

但也深知

人的躯体哪能从狗的洞子爬出!

我只能期待那一天

地下的火冲腾，

把这活棺材和我一起烧掉，

我将在烈火和热血中得到永生。

这首诗，后来被关在歌乐山集中营的同志谱成《叶挺囚歌》，广为传唱，鼓舞了人们的斗志。

江竹筠同志，这位不管老人还是孩子都尊称为江姐的革命先烈。被特务秘密杀害时才29岁。

在亿万中国人民的心中，江姐是革命意志坚强的代表。她的许多名言曾激动了无数人的心——“上级的姓名、住址，我知道，下级的姓名、住址，我也知道，但这都是我们党的秘密，绝不能告诉你们!”“严刑拷打算不了什么，竹签子是竹子做的，而共产党员的意志是钢的。”

江姐，一位柔弱的女性，却有那样坚强的表现，依靠的是什么力量?是一种精神，一种坚贞不屈、追求自由的斗争精神;是一种信仰，一种坚信共产主义必胜的信仰——是我们现在学习的红岩精神。

当新中国的五星红旗在天安门冉冉升起时，她和渣滓洞的革命战士虽然不知道国旗的图案，仍以憧憬的心情绣了一面代表解放的旗帜——尽管她们知道自己已经看不到胜利那一天了。

还有许云峰英勇斗敌，舍己为人;刘思扬出身豪门却投身革命;渣滓洞难友团结奋斗，敌人丧胆;白公馆志士奋勇突围，迎来黎明……当所有一切展现在我们眼前，激动、崇敬、悲愤、感叹……从他们身上，我们看到了民族的希望，感受到共产党人作为中国脊梁的人格魅力，感受到一种崇高的精神——红岩精神!

任何社会、任何时代都需要精神力量鼓舞人们前进。红岩精神是老一辈革命家为我们留下的宝贵的精神财富，是社会主义精神文明建设中不可缺少的部分。

当“非典”病魔肆虐的时候，当氯气蔓延的时候，当洪水横行的时候，我们看到的，是人们昂扬的斗志，它让“红岩”迸发出新的精神力量，它让“红岩精神”注入了新的时代内涵。

“起来，用我们的血肉筑起我们新的长城!”这是时代的强音，是12亿中国人民发出的铮铮誓言。“前进，前进，前进!”一个民族再次发出呐喊。这是响彻中华大地的强劲旋律。

“红岩精神”，让我学会了做人：真正的人、中国人、中华人民共和国的共产党员：一个决不向任何困难低头，“压不扁，折不弯，顶得住，吓不倒”的新时期的共产党人。

参观完金葵花展后，我们沿着湖边的小道，走入了昆虫的世界。

突然，听见一阵阵“嗡嗡”声，过了一会儿，声音越来越大，我寻着声音飞快地冲了过去，展现在我眼前的是一个巨大的，正在活动的大蜜蜂!我走近后定睛一看，哦，不用紧张，那只是一个放大了好几倍的仿生机器。这个机器一听到人的声音，就会活动，十分奇特、有趣。那儿还有两只用各种植物垒起来的巨大七星瓢虫，它们头对头，好像在窃窃私语。不远处，有一只大螳螂正挥舞着两只镰刀似的手臂，飞快地向着小池塘飞奔而来。这些昆虫姿态万千，栩栩如生，令人惊叹不绝。

The shortage of housing is one of the most serious problems facing many big

cities in China. Though the government has spent a large sum of money on

housing,the investment has not been very resultful and a housing shortage still

exists. Two generations sharing one room and newlymarried couples finding it

difficult to have a house of their own are still common cases. Housing shortage

is a problem that requires an immediate solution.

Peoples attitudes towards the solution to the housing problem are

different. Some suggest building more tall apartment buildings; others believe

that we should develop underground housing areas. I am in favour of the former

opinion. For one thing, it is cheaper to build upward than downward. For

another, living underground for a long time will do harm to peoples health.

Above all,people are unwilling to live underground with artificial lighting and

they prefer to live normally on the ground to enjoy the sunshine.

Although there may be some other ways to solve the housing shortage

problem, I believe to build more apartment buildings is one of the feasible

solutions to the housing problem.
