Recently, I have read the famous novel “Gone with The Wind” by Margaret Mitchell. Each character in this book gave me a great impression.

At beginning of the book, I think Scarlet was a beautiful, lucky woman. So many young men were in love with her and they always stayed around her. But in fact ,Scarlet was not the lucky woman I thought . She was fell in love with Ashley Wilkes, but the man was not like the other boys around her. when then news came that Ashley would be married with Melanie ,she felt surprised and even couldn’t accept the fact. With the psychology of revenging Ashley, Scarlett married to Melanie’s brother before the day of Ashley’wedding.

Soon after the war broke out , many young man died ,including Scarlett’s husband. Scarlett became a widow. She couldn’t stand the boring life, so when Melanie invited her to the home of Charles’s aunt. Without more consideration ,Scarlett left for Atlanta.

One time hospital hold a party to collect contributions. Then at the party ,she met Rhett buther, the man who loves her at first sight. Although Scarlett didn’t show any good feeling to him, Rhett buther always companied her and made her happy. For several reasons, she married again,but Rhett still loved her. When her second husband died, he asked Scarlett married him. Because he believed that he understoodher and he can bring her happy. After several month ,they got married. Their life became better and happier. Later they had a litte daughter, Bonnie. Rhett loved his lovely daughter just like the way he loved Scarlett. But Scarlett still loved Ashley. Unfortunitily, Bonnie died when she rided the horse. Rhett was hurt so badly that he couldn’t stand living with Scarlett,and he decided to leave. At this time she realised that the man she really loved was Rhett, not Ashley. She tried hard to persuard Rhett not to leave her. He left .I think it was a pity, but it doomed. Although Rhett love her so much ,he could do everything to make her happy, but she never opened her heart to him and tried to understand him.

Although Scarlett’s love was end up with tragedy. But from her attitude for life,we could know that she was a strong woman.she never gave up facing endless difficulties.when the war was terrible, everything was in confusion ,Scarlett had to take Melanie left back to home, the Tara Plantation. Hopefully she wanted her parent’s help. But to her surprise, her mum had died and her father was out of normal. Situation have became more difficult. While Melanie was going to give birth to a baby. Scarlet made her mind on taking on the task. In order to keep living ,Scarlett even went to work on farm ,she planted cotton. Melanie was in poor health, but she still went to help Scarlett to do farm work. She believed Scalett and gave her unselfish love. With Menlanie’s love,Scarlett supported her home,but at this time ,she still didn’t realize how important Melanie for her. In order to solve the problem of the Tara plantation,she married to Frank. In order to make a living she also did business which was unbelievable for women in this time. She struggled with countless difficulties, but she never gave up. She still believed “Tomorrow is a new day”。

Another girl that I loved in this book is Melanie,she was very kind and gentle. She never doubted the relationship between Scarlett and Ashley, she always standed in the side of Scarlett. Although Scarlett hated her and even wanted her to die. She still believed Scalett and treated Scarlett as her best friend. Melanie loved her husband ,when her husband was fighting in the war, she always waited for him. She didn’t have the strength to give birth, but she still wanted to have a baby for Ashley, finally, she died.

These three main characters in the book are all very obvious, but different. They gave me a impression. Scarlett was a plain girl, but what she did was not plain. She didn’t stay silent during the war, she changed her own life by strugling. In fact, many people lost what they have like Scarlett,but they all gave up to strive for the happiness that essentially belonged to them. Scarlett have the braveness to change the situation. But the pity was that she didn’t recognize the real love belong her in time. If she could got deep understanding of Ashley, she may not love him. If she could open her heart to Rhett and understand him, she may realized her love to Rhett. Sometimes I couldn’t help thinking that why the author can write this moved story. Maybe she have the similar experiences.

On the whole, this is a wonderful book, I feel very grateful that I can read it. I could get many benefits from it.

捧读《简爱》之后，书中的女主人公简爱给我留下了深刻的印象。

Its winter vacation. I went to Grandpas house with my mother and sister for

buddy this year. In order to prevent the virus, I can only stay at home

这个寒假，我可是收获颇丰，既读了历史书，又读了许多著名作家的书，其中还有几本外国作家的作品，我最喜欢的当属法国著名作家儒.勒凡尔纳的作品——《海底两万里》。

这本书主要讲的是“鹦鹉螺号”载着它的主人尼摩艇长以及阿罗纳克斯教授等人以每小时20海里的速度前进，在十个月的旅途中，发生了各种各样稀奇古怪的事情。“鹦鹉螺号”途径太平洋、印度洋、红海、地中海、大西洋……最后竟离奇地消失在了挪威西海岸的大旋流中。

从这本书中，我可以感受到：尼摩艇长是一个沉着冷静、博学多才却又有一点诡异多端的人，因为他的身份我至今未知。他驾驶着“鹦鹉螺号”潜水艇几乎战无不胜，在大海底下漫游着，做着自己喜欢的科学研究，搜集海底的金银珠宝。但是，我还有一个疑问仍未解开：为什么他对陆地上的人们如此憎恨?而阿罗纳克斯教授，以及他的仆人孔塞伊，他们都那么的聪明好学，把他们所见到的海底奇观向我们描绘得淋漓尽致。我对他们的才识感到十分的敬佩!

在这本书中，我不仅了解到一系列事情的真相以及人物形象，而且还掌握了一些有关地理和生物方面的知识。比如阿罗纳克斯教授介绍了什么是太平洋黑流、珊瑚礁是怎样形成的，以及海洋生物的循环系统是怎样的……这些自然现象和特点都十分的有趣，而这些现象的科学解释也让我大开眼界、增长见识。我对他们的“知识宝库”也是刮目相看!

翻开这本厚厚的《红楼梦》，一股浓浓的书香味扑鼻而来，我端坐在书桌前，像是面对着一件严肃的事情。是啊，作为中国古代智慧的结晶，老祖宗为我们留下的历史悠久、文化水平高的四大名著之一，它又为什么不能令我郑重对待呢?

在经过了几个月的阅读下来，我终于将这本"神圣"的书看完了。我不得不佩服曹雪芹的写作能力之高超，有详有略地将每一个人物写活了，他创造了一个又一个有血有肉、性格鲜明的人物，我仿佛身临其境，见证了一个家族的兴盛与衰败，，感触到古人丰富繁远的情感。

其实令我感触最深的不是林黛玉的逝去、贾宝玉的生日、贾府的查抄等而是刘姥姥的报恩。我一开始对刘姥姥的印象是一个土里土气、话多、爱占小便宜、没见过大世面的人。但最后她的出现让我不禁震惊，那时的贾府家道中落，所有人都是避之不及，但刘姥姥却在这时自己主动来贾府看望他们，对他们也是毕恭毕敬的，没有一丝懈怠，甚至将自己平日里省吃俭用省下来的钱帮他们。只因贾府曾给予她二十两银子。这二十两银子对那时鼎盛时期的贾府来说不过是九牛一毛，但在刘姥姥眼中却是天大的恩惠，以至于在贾府衰败，大家都退避三舍的时候毫不犹豫地走出来帮助贾府中人。她为我留下的印象又成了知恩图报、有责任心、做事果断。滴水之恩当涌泉相报，没见过大世面又如何，他真正做到了他人所不敢为的事，一样让我由衷地敬佩。

但现实中这样的现象却是少得可怜，且不说知恩不报的人多，就连恩将仇报，反过来咬一口的事例也比比皆是。想必大家都知道好久前孙俪资助一名大学生的事，连着好几天都登上了热搜的头条。矛头都指向了孙俪，真相却令人唏嘘。孙俪的一个简单善举却被恶意报道。这名学生家境贫穷，孙俪知道后决定资助他，让他的生活好起来，每月在他的卡上打钱，就这样资助了一学期，但他高考未考上大学，孙俪仍鼓励他，让他重读了一学年，终于，他考上了大学，且得知了资助他的是位大明星。他开始向人骄傲地吹嘘，上大学后屡次向孙俪要钱却用来逃课、上网吧、打游戏、谈恋爱，孙俪知道后停止了对他的资助，希望他不要荒废学业，但这位大学生却觉得孙俪是不舍得再花钱了，那些钱对她来讲不过是九牛一毛。他联系了各大报记者，将责任都推向了孙俪，把孙俪推上了风口浪尖的地方。这可真是现实版的“农夫与蛇”啊。我觉得即使那钱对人家来说的确是九牛一毛，但那也是别人牺牲自己宝贵的休息时间赶通告、拍戏等换来的。刘姥姥那样看似小气、抠门的人都懂得有恩必报，他却恩将仇报，着实令人气愤。资助的钱是有限的，但这些钱能干的事却是无限的。同样一笔钱，对于不同的人却有不同的意义。有人用这笔钱来交学费买资料更勤奋学习，努力改变命运;有人却用这钱来干无意义的事，荒度一生。世界上学习条件恶劣却又勤奋好学的人有很多，你不过是芸芸众生中幸运的一个，上天只眷恋聪明努力的人，你又凭什么认为自己有资格或是理应获得别人的同情，喧宾夺主，得到钱。唯有用别人对你的付出证明你自己才是对人最好的回馈。

愿我们每个人都能做一个有良知的人，学会感恩，让世界充满爱心、充满欢笑。

《水浒传》作为四大名著之一。不仅是记录宋江等人征战的故事，更包含了作者对宋江爱国却被__邪小人陷害的惋惜，对宋朝无能的惋惜，同时也记载下了古人生活的场景，细致入微，让人从中体悟到治人、治事、治国的道理。

《水浒传》的主人公是宋江。主要记叙宋江、卢俊义、吴用等人几经周转被朝廷招安，为朝廷四处征战最后被__邪小人陷害的故事。在兄弟之间的热血之中包含着忠诚的爱国之心。在《水浒传》的所有人物当中，宋江是最令我钦佩的。宋江为官清廉，一开始，在他担任的官位上，他做出了很好的成绩，造福百姓，并且没有一点大官人的架子，且他对国家极为忠诚，最后他被迫逼上梁山是因为被迫杀害阎婆惜，但也是因为这份过度的忠诚，让他即使明白是小人给自己下毒，仍然接受事实，为《水浒传》添加了悲壮的一笔。

在宋江身上令我感触最深的情节莫过于辽国国王派人劝宋江降时，宋江假降的情节。在宋江假降之后，吴用对他说：“劝降的人说的是对的，像我们这样的人，继续留在宋朝结果无非两个：赐死或者流放，朝中的__臣不可能容得下我们，倒不如投降辽国算了，逍遥自在岂不好吗?”宋江的回话大致可以这样翻译：“我身为大宋的臣，死为大宋的魂，宋朝可以负我，我绝不负宋朝。”说完，他竟默默流泪，明知前方就是忠诚的悬崖，他却仍然要跳进去，这份对国家的赤诚足可以惊天地泣鬼神!

今天下午，我终于读完了我最心爱的这本书《昆虫记》。为什么要说是我最心爱的书呢?因为我想这本书把一个五彩缤纷的昆虫世界，活灵活现的从这本书中体现了出来。

这本书主要讲述了作者法布尔经常一丝不苟的观察昆虫们有趣的“生活”，他把观察的一点一滴都记录下来，法布尔几乎穷尽了大半生的时间与精力陆续写成了10大卷《昆虫记》。《昆虫记》的发表，在世界上引起了一片赞叹之声，为此，法布尔还被称之为“昆虫荷马”。在1910年时，晚年的法布尔曾因此书获得诺贝尔文学奖的提名呢!

读完了这本书以后，我感受到了法布尔的一生那种刻苦勤奋、锐意进取、自学成才的能力与他的那股钻劲儿、韧劲儿、孜孜不倦的劲儿，简直是到了废寝忘食的地步。他对昆虫的那份好奇，那份爱，是非常人能够所理解的。法布尔对于昆虫的研究之深，使他笔下的那些小虫子，一个个活灵活现，栩栩如生，充满了灵性，让人看了以后，着实的感到了昆虫的可爱，就连让人最恶心的食粪虫让人看得都妙趣横生。从这一点就不难看出，我们应学习法布尔的这种精神，在任何情况下，干任何的一件事情，都必须要有一股打破沙锅问到底的精神，只有这样，我们再会不断的进步，让自己更上一层楼;我们要踏踏实实的干好每一件事，只有这样我们才可以认认真真的干好我们的每一件事，不要老是浮在水面上，如果是这个样子，那么你将一事无成;我们在观察一些事物的时候，要对那个事物表示有一种好奇心，这样才可以写出一篇好的观察日记。

《老人与海》一本拥有哲理的书。故事中的主人公一位“硬汉”老人——圣地亚哥常说的话“人可以被打败，但不能被毁灭。”一个人并不是生来就要被打败的“就正是作者海明威想告诉我们的一种永不言败的精神!

故事中已经84天仍然一无所获的圣地亚哥并没有放弃捕鱼，在第85天他带着小男孩的祝福下海了。那一次他竟然出乎意料地遇到了一条巨大无比的大马林鱼，经过几天几夜的坚持，老人杀死了大马林鱼。可就在老人带着马林鱼回来的路上他们碰到了鲨鱼，老人又与他们进行了一番殊死搏斗，可马林鱼还是被鲨鱼咬的只剩骨头了。最后带回去的也只是那巨骨头。虽然老人没有得到马林鱼，但其实一个人只要为自己追求的去奋斗过，努力过那就足够了，不在乎结果如何，因为他已经成功了。老人就是这样一个敢于挑战的胜利者。因为他从来就没有向他面前的困难低头，无论是马林鱼还是鲨鱼。

反过来，再想想自己，自己想要如何如何，但没过几天就不想干了。在遇到麻烦一点的，很累的事就坚持不下去，选择放弃。以后如果在遇到这样的情况我一定会问问自己，连一位渔夫都知道凡事都要坚持下去，要想”硬汉“圣地亚哥学习，做一个无论遇到什么事都不会轻言放弃的人。让自己拥有一颗自信勇敢顽强的心去面对自己未来的一切，一条困难，漫长，坎坷的路。

暑假期间我读了《钢铁是怎样炼成的》，当我读完时，我已热泪盈眶，文中的保尔·柯察金他以自己的英雄气概，他为了拯救自己的祖国他放弃了一切，全心全意的为拯救自己的中国而努力。

他每天从晚上忙到早晨，中间只有短短的几分钟休息，每天早晨他还中忘不了给大家说一声“早上好!”他因为过多的忙碌而使自己双目失明，他虽然双眼失明，可他仍忘我工作，想到这里，我实在羞愧不已。

After reading this novel,I learned something about how British classical upper-class behaved and their standards of choosing spouse.Even in the same family,they had various thoughts about marriage.Jane and Lizzy wanted to marry someone they really loved,while Lydia and Kitty preferred to find someone funny.Their parents thought highly of family wealth,and the young thought it less important.However,most of them still had a ranking sense.They wanted to marry someone with similar fortune,similar social position.

I love this story and enjoy reading it.

“纷纷五代乱离间，一旦云开复见天”这几天我看了施耐庵写的《水浒传》，受到了古典名著的熏陶。

《水浒传》产生于元末明初，作者是施耐庵，《水浒传》以它杰出的艺术描写手段，揭示了中国封建社会中农民起义的发生、发展和失败过程的一些本质方面。《水浒传》的社会意义首先在于深刻揭露了封建社会的黑暗和腐朽，及统治阶级的罪恶，说明造成农民起义的根本原因是“官逼民反”。这本书成功地塑造了许多起义英雄的光辉形象。小说把那些被封建统治阶级视为“盗贼草寇”的革命者放在主要地位给以充分的肯定，并对他们所表现的强烈革命精神和光辉的思想品德作了热情的歌颂。

《水浒传》中给我印象最深的人物之一是武松，他“身长八尺”“浑身上下有千百斤力”，是个顶天立地的男子汉，还记得在“景阳冈”，武松遇到一只吊睛白额大虎，他临危不惧，结着酒兴，一把抓住大虎的头按下黄坑里，然后用左手紧紧揪住大虎的顶花皮，右手握成铁锤般大小拳头，尽平生之力猛打大虎六七十下，直到大虎气绝。

“景阳冈”这一打虎壮举显示了武松无比神威的英雄气概，武松是《水浒传》中的杰出人物，武松那种“明知山有虎，偏向虎山行”的精神，值得我们学习。在学习过程中，我们也会经常遇到一些“拦路虎”，要发扬“武松打虎”的精神，不慌张，不退缩，敢于挑战，凭着自己的聪明才智和正确的学习方法解决难题，努力成为学习上的“打虎英雄”。

《水浒传》描写了太多梁山好汉，他们侠肝义胆，敢报天下不平，性格鲜明，能够路见不平，拔刀相助。这实在是一本经典名著，也是中国文学史上的一个璀璨的明珠。

Since the first day of my winter vacation, I’ve decided to make it a

valuable and enjoyable one. I made a plan to finish my homework within the first

week, and after days of hard working, I actually got all my assignments done a

day earlier. I am pretty proud of myself for not —as usual —hang out with my

friends until the last few days of my vacation and rush through my homework.

In the rest of my winter vacation, I made up my mind to improve my reading

skills. I’ve had tons of books that I simply bought and put them on my shelf,

wishing some day they would be finished themselves. But this time, I realized I

was not trying my best last term and decided to make some change. I finished a

couple of novels and watched some classic movies, I also went to a library to

borrow some new books for next term. The more I read the more enthusiastic I

became, and now I’ve developed my reading skills a lot.

Another event in my winter vacation is that I went to hiking with my

parents. It was a warm, sunny day, which is pretty precious during winter time.

There’re many kinds of tea in China, of which Longjing Tea is famous all

over the world.

Tea is usually drunk in tea sets. A tea set is made up of a tea pot and

some teacups, which are both made of china.

Most Chinese are fond of drinking tea. Tea is served not only at tea house

and restaurants but also at home. People also drink tea during breaks at offices

or factories.

Chinese is the necessary subject for students to learn. Even though some

students learn Chinese all the time, they know little about Chinese culture.

Today, the world is crazy about learning mandarin. A lot of foreigners are

interested in Chinese culture, and they learn the traditional thoughts from

Chinese great minds, such as Confucious. They also learn Tai Chi and they love

it. On the contrary, many Chinese students are not interested in our culture,

and they feel bored to learn. We should learn and get to know our culture well.

It is our duty, or someday we will be kicked out and lag behind others. In the

future, China will take the lead on economy.
