Last summer, intolerable heat, so mom and Dad brought our family went to see the ice sculpture museum.

As soon as we walked into the ice sculpture museum, we felt the chill of the inside, and I knew it was only minus six degrees Celsius. Were just like going into a big fridge. Ice sculptures in the ice sculpture hall are lifelike. It stood the ancient "Four Beauties": Sha Shi, Mochizuki Pipa Wang Zhaojun, Diao Chan, Yang dancing, all lovingly pathetic. The side see also the twists and turns of the bridge deck and handrails, sparkling, shining. There are all kinds of ice sculptures at the side of the bridge. today is an exciting day. in the morning we had the singing contest. everyone did well in it. somebody sans lyrics and somebody didn’t. when the result came out, only audrey and ellison could be in the second run. vanessa was very sad. but finally she was in the second run. it was really great news for her.

we stayed in our rooms for the whole afternoon. we played cards, slept, read, practiced some english songs for the contest and did out homework. it was a little boring.

11. 注意日期、星期和天气的书写位置。

日期和星期要写在正文的左上角，其顺序多是“星期 + 月、日、年”

也有把星期放在后面的。

如“ 2003 年 11 月 22 日， 星期一”可写为“ Monday November 22， 2015 ”或“ November 22，2015 Monday ” 。

天气情况应写在正文的右上角，如： Fine、 Rainy、 Cloudy、 Windy 、sunny等。

22. 关于标题的书写。

在日期和天气的下一行中间可以写上日记小标题，也可以不写标题。 刚开始写日记，可以用一个词作标题。

33. 关于正文的书写。

正文是关于一天生活的记载，也是日记的主题。

在书写正文时要做到：

1 )要选择当天感受最深刻、最有意义的事件来描述，不要写成简单的流水帐;

2 )日记的内容多是亲身经历和耳闻目睹的事情，所以要用第一人称来写;

3 )日记多是在当天晚上来记述当天发生过的事情，因为动词时态常使用过去时，但使用时必须灵活掌握。

如景物描写、议论某事、对话引语等要使用现在时态;

4 )日记应以时间发生的先后顺序来展开，并且要简明扼要、条理清楚、写出真实感。

Going on a Picnic

I went to visit the Great Wall with my friends during the summer vacation.

We went there by bus. It took us about two hours to get there. It was hot and

October 28 Friday Sunny

Last week something terrible took place in our class:one of our classmates Xiao Li, fell down the stairs of our classroom building. He got badly hurt. He had to stay in hospital for a long time. How unfortunate he was!

So this afternoon all our classmates and our teacher, Mr Yan, were going to the fields to help Xiao Li s family gather the grain.

After lunch we set out. It was a long way from our school to Xiao Li s home. It took us half an hour to get there by bike.

Then we walked to the fields, bent down and began to work. Some of us worked very quickly though some had never done any farming work before. Time went by quickly and we knocked off about 4 o clock.

Xiao Li s parents were thankful. “It s very kind of you to come and help us,”they said. They invited us to have a rest in their houses and gave us a lot of things to eat. After that we went back.

Now I realize it s important to help and care for each other, and we should regard the each classmate as a member of a big family.

This is the first diary I’m writing in the youth summer camp.

Everything is new to me, new class, new teachers and new classmates. My

classmates are all good students and they can speak English well. I think I can

learn a lot from them, and I can make friends with them.

The teacher from china is full of emotion when giving a class. And her

class is very interesting. To my surprise our foreign teacher can speak chinese

very well, but in my opinion, her class is a little boring. She should have made

the class more active.

Compared to my school, Zhejiang University seems so big that it takes us a
