But most of them would be sent to my mother’s business friends. I chose the best basket of red bayberries to eat. I put the rest in my refrigerator. Red bayberry is my hometown’s special product. It is well-known in china. Many people like to eat it.

I will have a good rest. January 25 2008 It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt I’m free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. 这个游戏一直玩到下课。然后，Tom老师说：“class is over!let’s rest for five minters。”

等第二节课开始上课后，我们就先复习了一下上节课学的单词.然后，Tom老师又带我们做了游戏。正好来了一个老师，给我们发东西了。他给tony发了一个帽子，给jimy、dear各发了一副眼镜。这个游戏的规则还是跟上节课一样。

他问我们：“who is wearing a hat?”

我们就一起说：“tony!”

最好玩的是，有一次，让我戴眼镜，我不仅戴了眼镜，还戴了帽子。

This summer holiday I plan to go to the beach. I will go there with my

parents and cousins. Well stay there for three days at the local hotel. The

It was sunny and hot today. I got up early at half past six. I read English and then had breakfast. I helped my mother washed the dishes. Then I did my homework and cleaned my room. I went shopping with my mother in the afternoon. Then I played table tennis with my friends. In the evening I watched TV and read a book. I really had a busy and interesting day.

The Lantern Festival, which occurs on the 15-th day of the First Month of the Chinese Year, marks the end of the New Years Holidays.

Lanterns are everywhere. A most interesting tradition is the posting of riddles called Lantern Riddles. Riddles are written on pieces of paper and posted on lanterns or wall. Any one solving the riddle is awarded a prize. And the food for lantern festival is Tang Yuan, i have made some Tang Yuan in a ginger soup, my wife got a serious cold, so i cooked a pot of ginger soup for her. 进入高三，高考也就不远了，同学们都在想用好的方法，迅速提升英语水平，提高英语成绩。这需要大量的操练———语言训练，而这种训练不到一定量是不可能到位的。在短短不到一年时间里，如何提高应试技巧呢？

●听力———抓住关键词

先说听力，在听的时候要抓住关键词，是很重要的。

●词汇语法———记住正确句子就行

答案是A。因为在that引导的结果状语中，not asound是一个移到句首的否定结构，在此情况下，我们必须用半倒装，即疑问句的句型。然后，我们没有必要再去研究为什么B、C、D错了。

●完型填空———多读不误“砍柴功”

对于“完型填空”，可以先通读一遍，然后开始把有把握的先填好，到第三遍才把较难的填入空白，填时要注意是否通顺合理。平时练习更重要的环节是对好答案后，把原来做错的部分的上下文再仔细分析，看懂意思，然后把有关的短语或句子记住，这样才会有效地提高这类提醒的解题能力。

●阅读理解———先理解第一句话

解“阅读理解”题，主要还是要看懂文章，尤其要充分理解第一句或是第一段。文章的背景或主题往往包含在第一句或第一段中，否则越看越糊涂，不知道到底在讲什么。接着的每一段的第一句也很重要。读文章要第一遍“猜”，猜生词及短语的的意思，第二便要“查”，也就是猜不出的词语与短语要查词典。第三遍要“记”，也就是要记住所查过的词与短语。

●翻译———把握句子结构

再说说“句子翻译”。句子翻译中最关键的是句子的结构，也就是在翻译句子以前先要根据句子的意思确定一个正确的英语句型与恰当的时态，然后再根据意思把相应的英语词及短语填入。

如，他突然想到他还没有关门。（occur）根据句子的意思，我们应该用形式主语it的结构，即Itoccurtosbthatsbdosth.，时态以过去时为好，而从句的事情发生在主句以前，故用过去完成时好。这两点确定以后，我们就可以着手翻译句子了。Itoccurredtohimsuddenlythathehadn’tlockedthedoor.

●作文——腹稿不可省略

做“英语作文”要注意在落笔以前先打好腹稿，写些什么内容，分几段，如何开头，注意首尾呼应，要确保句子语法结构的正确，时态一致，适当用些关联词，还要注意书写整洁，写好后再仔细检查一边，确保无误，然后才可以算写好了。

平时加强英语听说读写能力的训练，持之以恒，再使用上面所提到的一些方法技巧，不断总结，在新的一学年中，英语学习一定会取得长足的进步。

As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many

other useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and

strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wise

friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more

books.
