后来，建始进行了工业园和船儿岛的修建，人们把河边的绿树砍了，立起厚厚的水泥墙，大量的工业废水流入河中，人们随心所欲的把垃圾丢向河中，河底垃圾成堆，河面到处飘着废渣、塑料袋和其它的生活垃圾。不再有知了的叫声、不再有人去河里游泳、不再有人去河里取水饮用了，现在的广润河已经浑浊不清，臭气熏天。

为什么会变化成这样？因为人们在改善居住、生活条件的时候，并没有注意到生态环境的保护，所以我们在完成科技和生产发展的同时，也要爱护和保护环境，世界才会变得更美丽！
