Depend on Yourself

Depend on yourself" is what nature says to every man。 Parents can help you。 Teachers can help you。 Others still can help you。 But all these people only help you to help yourself。

There have been many great men in history。 Many of them were very poor in childhood， and had no uncles， aunts or friends to help them。 Schools were few and not very good。 They could not depend on them for education。 They saw how it was， and set to work with their strength to know something。 They worked their own way till they became well-known。 One of the most famous teachers in England used to tell his pupils， "1 cannot make worthy men of you， but I can help you make men of yourselves。"

Some young men dont try their best to make themselves valuable to human beings。 They can not gain achievements unless they see their weakness and change their course。 They are nothing now， and will be nothing as long as they live， unless they accept the advice of their parents and teachers， and depend on their own efforts。

寂寞的我想吸支烟，下意识的摸摸口袋，没有烟。爸爸在经济上控制了我，好几天没烟抽了。“男人的风度，岂是一根烟就能衬托出来的。在时髦的迷宫打转，枉费年华，迷失自我，不知路在何方，彷徨不前的旅人，找不到归宿，内心怎能有快乐呢？”这是前几天包老师对我的教育。

“何老师说，选择一个属于自己的位置，做有益他人和自己的事，乐观为人，从容生活，是真正的潇洒。你哪里比得上他！”这是同桌的谏言。我曾追问：“他有那么好吗？”同桌说：“有！他幽默风趣，课上得好，文章写得好，排球、羽毛球打得好，带领学生搞诗歌朗诵会，活跃校园文化，很多人佩服他。”

我止住思绪，抬头看着天上皎洁的月亮河闪烁的星星，它们千百年来，在每一个晴朗的夜晚，都会如期出现在属于自己的位置，把光洒向人间，星星何曾艳羡月亮的皎洁？繁星满天更显夜空的辽远深邃，广袤无垠，若是所有的星星都不安分，而变成月亮，就没有了昼夜的更替，岂不是人间的灾难？那样就要劳烦后羿射月了！

生活中，最难得的就是找到自己的位置，调整好自己的心态，走好自己的路。我一定会找准自己的位置的，哪怕是做一根小草，我也会尽情的勃发绿意。

Things in the world are changing. People are changing and every creature is

changing. Changing is a neutral word. We can’t judge it is good or bad in

general, because every coin has two sides. But sometimes we need to change,

because it is good for us. Sometimes we will meet some difficult or

uncomfortable situation. When we are not able to change it, we need to change

ourselves. If both of us refuse to budge, the problem would not be solved.

Sometimes we need to change our life attitude; sometimes we need to change our

views of seeing things; sometimes we need to tolerant; sometimes we need to be

strong. Changing ourselves according to the specific situation is good for

us.
