（1）以单数名词或代词，动词不定式短语作主语时，谓语动词要用单数;主语为复数时，谓语用复数，例如：

（2）由and或both……and连接的并列成分作主语时，谓语动词用复数。例如：

（4）主语是单数时，尽管后面跟有 but ,except, besides, with 等介词短语，谓语动词仍用单数。例如：

The teacher with his students is going to visit the museum.

Nobody but two boys was late for class.

Bread and butter is a daily food in the west.

（5） 一些只有复数形式的名词，如people, police, cattle, clothes等作主语时，谓语动词要用复数。例如：

A lot of people are dancing outside.

The police are looking for lost boy.

（6）由each, some, any, no, every 构成的复合代词作主语时，谓语动词都用单数。例如：

Is everybody ready?

Somebody is using the phone.

（7）有两部分构成的物体的名词，如glasses, shoes, trousers, chopsticks, scissors 等作主语时，谓语动词用复数。例如：

Where are my shoes? I can’t find them.

Your trousers are dirty. You’d better change them.

Since the first day of my winter vacation, I’ve decided to make it a

valuable and enjoyable one. I made a plan to finish my homework within the first

week, and after days of hard working, I actually got all my assignments done a

day earlier. I am pretty proud of myself for not —as usual —hang out with my

friends until the last few days of my vacation and rush through my homework.

In the rest of my winter vacation, I made up my mind to improve my reading

可是今天，学校门口发生了一个小小的变化，校门口搭着高高的围栏，家长们轻松有序地靠站在围栏外侧，用目光寻找自己的孩子;孩子们呢，排着整齐的队伍从围栏中间的安全通道自由进出，十分方便。

现在不仅放学安全了，早上上学还有警察阿姨站岗，为学生生命安全护航呢!她们和学校里进出的孩子形成了一道亮丽的风景线。

consider my parents as the most important people in my life. This is not because

they’re wealthy or famous. Rather, what I value about most is the care and love

they show to me.

My

parents might work hard, but they’re always there for me. Whenever I get into

trouble and desperately need a hand, they come over first to support me and

encourage me. I grew up with their constant care and love. While they’re getting

older with grey hair and wrinkles, they never lose dignity in both life and

jobs.

My best friend is Mary. She lives in a tall building. She lives on the fifth floor. Everyday she takes the lift up and down. She is twelve years old. She is tall and thin. She has short black hair，two big eyes and a small mouth. She is very cute. I like playing with her. We are in the same class. I like to read books but she likes playing games. 很早以前，大人们就告诉我，初三是一个关键性的时刻，那是一生中的一个非常重要的转折点，到那时，学生们必定会手忙脚乱的忙上一遭，拼死报住性命去献给自己的将来。要知道，那是一场残酷的战争，轰轰烈烈，遗骸满地不久以前，从一本杂志上说道：人生是一次漫长的路途，在路边盛开着五光十色的花儿，我们应该用洗脸或吃饭的一点时间去细细欣赏花的芬芳与美丽。但是，在欣赏花的同时，千万别忘了赶路。不要为一朵花而停留太久，要去的地方不是这里，而是远方，要知道那是很远很远的地方！

一直以来就明白，有的人的路一生也不会有终点，跨过高山，越过海洋，都是为了路边的风景。而有的人从眼前看似就没有了路，他迷失了自己。

上初三以来，觉得自己好压抑，成千上万的败事迎面而来，自己已无暇顾及。于是，学会了叛逆。虽然没有干过什麽杀人之类的事，可对于原来那个天真的什麽都不知的我来说，那些是简直是伤天害理。我不自重，我当着众人的面大骂怪话，我甚至还惹上了父母们最忌讳的‘早恋’，这一堆堆的烂摊子让我不知如何是好。老师变成了一群狗仔队，而我则变成了最受欢迎女明星。他们的访问接二连三，而每一句话都在告诉我：子青，你变了。在这个关键时刻，你放弃了自己。这些无言的心声，让我丧失了身上所有的东西。霎时间，我特别崇拜韩寒，那个像大鸟一样飞驰的少年。他的叛逆是真正的升华了他平庸的灵魂。而我呢？我不是上帝的宠儿，还没有那样幸运

有时候，突如其来的一阵思绪会让我想起很多。想起童年，想到将来自己到底会是怎样，到底会不会如愿以偿？周围的事物消逝得如此迅速，我们的世界竟会就这样，轻而易见，阳光依旧灿烂，但昨日却如过眼云烟。如今，成功的路-迷茫，追求越多，烦恼越多。有时真像一只孤独的大雁，扇动着疲惫的翅膀，蓝天使人精神爽朗，雾气却使人迷茫。我向往蓝天，我相信自己能冲出迷雾，最终如愿以偿。为了永恒，别忘了自己的责任，别忘了看看脚下的路。走下去，因为我拥有一颗明智的心！

[初中生作文：自己的路

夜深人静，我独倚窗前，看着天上皎洁的月亮和快乐的星星。“我相信每一个人都在努力寻求发展，都想找到一个最佳的人生位置，没有谁愿意像河里的落叶，随波漂流，放逐自己的命运。”何老师的话在寂静的夜空响起，撞击着我的心扉。我的思绪被牵动：我可以在这个寂寞的夜晚，在属于我的房间，做一个属于我自己的梦吗？梦中我会找到属于我的最佳人生位置吗？

我习惯性的用手掠一下额前的头发，掠不到。我的头发已很短，不再像谢霆锋、郑伊健、贺军翔那种明星的长长发型。“学生赶潮流，穿明星般的服饰，留歌星般的发型，是不合适的，滑稽的，剪短吧！”是何老师三番四次的劝导，使我剪短了头发。“你头发剪短了，显得天庭饱满，地阁方圆，是标准的国字脸型，真帅！”竟然有同学像看相先生般的点评相貌。我觉得真是不可思议：很多同学都追星，模仿明星，我留明星般的长发，却没有人多加赞美，我剪了一个普通人的发型，却获得了明星般的待遇，真是世事难料！

寂寞的我想吸支烟，下意识的摸摸口袋，没有烟。爸爸在经济上控制了我，好几天没烟抽了。“男人的风度，岂是一根烟就能衬托出来的。在时髦的迷宫打转，枉费年华，迷失自我，不知路在何方，彷徨不前的旅人，找不到归宿，内心怎能有快乐呢？”这是前几天包老师对我的教育。

“何老师说，选择一个属于自己的位置，做有益他人和自己的事，乐观为人，从容生活，是真正的潇洒。你哪里比得上他！”这是同桌的谏言。我曾追问：“他有那么好吗？”同桌说：“有！他幽默风趣，课上得好，文章写得好，排球、羽毛球打得好，带领学生搞诗歌朗诵会，活跃校园文化，很多人佩服他。”

我止住思绪，抬头看着天上皎洁的月亮河闪烁的星星，它们千百年来，在每一个晴朗的夜晚，都会如期出现在属于自己的位置，把光洒向人间，星星何曾艳羡月亮的皎洁？繁星满天更显夜空的辽远深邃，广袤无垠，若是所有的星星都不安分，而变成月亮，就没有了昼夜的更替，岂不是人间的灾难？那样就要劳烦后羿射月了！

生活中，最难得的就是找到自己的位置，调整好自己的心态，走好自己的路。我一定会找准自己的位置的，哪怕是做一根小草，我也会尽情的勃发绿意。
