But several decades ago, people treasured their friends and maintained relatively close interpersonal relations, which is much more enjoyable than the estrangements we are experiencing.

The last factor that has made our age so uncomfortable is the abusive use of technology. Although it brings much convenience, it essentially changes human – we are no longer the master of tools, but instead the slaves of devices. We rush to metro station in order to catch an early train, sit in front of radioactive computers all day long in order to get our work done, and stay in air-conditioned rooms all summer without experiencing the natural changes outside thick cement walls. Several decades ago, people could still live closer to nature and make rational use of modern technology, which to me is the essence of human living experience.

However, the comparison between different times is itself ridiculous. The criteria could not be easily determined, and opinions are highly personal. Anyway, we have a longer life span, more advanced medical facilities, and easier traffic than our grandparent when they were children, and we should treasure the present experience. Imagination of the past might only be nostalgia – if I ask my grandparents the same question, they might as well say that our life is much better than the past generations. Who knows? “幸福的生活从哪里来？要靠劳动来创造。”每当我听到“劳动最光荣”这首歌曲时，我就非常感动。因为劳动创造了人类，没有了劳动就没有人类的今天。在我国五千年悠久的文明史上，以勤恳劳动而被人敬仰的人物不计其数。“春蚕到死丝方尽，蜡炬成灰泪始干。”辛勤劳动的人就如同这“春蚕”和“蜡炬”一样，燃烧了自己，却照亮了别人。

在我们的生活中，我们身边还有无数平平凡凡的普通人，他们都默默地坚守在自己的岗位上，勤勤恳恳，任劳任怨。有一心扑在教育事业上，把自己的一生献给学生们的辛勤园丁—老师，白天他们给我们上课，晚上很晚回家，还要给我们批改作业；有一年四季不怕风吹雨打，不怕严寒酷暑的人民卫士—警察，他们保家卫国，不惜牺牲自己的生命；有起早贪黑，不怕脏不怕累的城市美容师—清洁工，早晨，天刚蒙蒙亮，就会看到清洁工在马路上打扫，天亮了，一条干净的马路呈现在我们的眼前；有救死扶伤、不知疲倦的医生，还有守卫在祖国边疆的解放军等等。他们的心中只有一个信念，那就是为了祖国和人民，甘愿做一粒小小的石子，甘愿做一棵小草，任凭风吹雨打，傲然挺立在祖国苍茫的大地上。

因为社会分工的不同，人们的职业类型各异，工人、农民、教师、公务员、打字员、清洁工、服务员……社会需要各种各样的劳动者，每一种职业就像一架大的机器上一个个的零件，每一个都很重要，缺一不可。每一位劳动者就像一个个音符，都很悦耳，都很值得尊重。

在21世纪的今天，我们更应该保持以勤为本的美德，让我们齐唱赞歌：“幸福的生活从哪里来？要靠劳动来创造！”

My campus life is rich and colorful.

The university life different secondary school life.And it is a problem that how should I adapt to college life.

I go to attend claeveryday morning excluding weekend .In the class I just listening to lectures, and my teachers and classmates discuss the problem.After  class, ofen i go to play basketball or badminton with my friends.

In the evening,i have two hours for study by oneself in scheduled time, and then go back to my dormitory and surf on the internet.At the weekend,i take part in some part-time jobs and go to the Einglish Corner sometimes.

All in all,life in the University is beatiful and substantial for me.And I believe I will achieve my self-value through  the university life .

Generally speaking, life in high school is busy and fulfilling, due to the

ultimate goal---College Entrance Examination. Many people say that there is no

fun left but bored study and endless exercises. However, as a high school

student, I can’t agree with them. Personally, I live a fruitful but happy life

in high school. It can’t be denied that study is my priority that I must spend

most of my time and energy on it. Sometimes, study may make me frustrated or

even drive me crazy, but I still can adjust my mood to enjoy my life. Besides, I

can also get a sense of achievement when I do well in my study or make progress.

The most important is that my friends bring much happiness to me and my parents’

care inspires me to go on. I think friends in high school are my best friend

forever, because they know me a lot and witness all of my emotions. They are the

persons who grow with me. In addition, teachers in high school care much about

our students both in study and life, and classmates are always friendly to each

other. We build deep friendship together. All of these make up my fruitful life

in high school, which I will cherish forever.
