一早起来，我穿好衣裤后，第一件事不是洗刷吃饭，而是直奔三楼去“鸡场”捡蛋。哇!大丰收，草窝里安静地躺着5个圆滚滚、红扑扑的鸡蛋。我把它们全捡起来，走下楼，母鸡只能喔喔叫，而无力抢回蛋。有时候，我还会向它们白白眼睛，说：“这不是你们应该付出的回报吗?有什么好哭丧的!”

Dear Tom,

Im just writing to let you know that were all well, and I hope you are, too. Unfortunately, Ive got some rather bad news for you: Im afraid I made a bit of a mess of Johns car. Anyway, heres what happened.

We were on our way to Carols after a long party, and I suppose it must have been about eleven o’clock. Well, the last few miles back home were really dark and deserted. I now realize I was probably going a bit too fast for a country lane because, although the road was fairly straight, I drove up onto the curb and went into a tree.

Of course, John was absolutely furious and started shouting at me and cursing. After we d argued for a few moments, we decided to look at the damage, and he calmed down a bit. Well, we found we could move the car, but the wing was caught on the wheel, so we couldnt drive it. I tried to pull the wing clear, but I didnt succeed.

Anyway, John went off to phone for a breakdown lorry, but while he was away, I had another go at the wing and this time succeeded in pulling it right off. I threw it onto the back seat, and by that time John got back and we were ready to go?so we didnt need the breakdown lorry at all. John has more or less forgiven me now, but he was very angry with me for a few days. I suppose I was a bit careless.

Well, thats all for now. Next time I write I hope Ill have better news for you.

好久不见了!你在美国还好吗?记得你那次来我家是在上海，这次我要给你介绍我的另一个家：六安。

六安是个小城市，虽然它没有上海发达，但它却有美丽的风景，传统的风俗!想必你已经迫不及待的想读下面的文章了吧!

在六安市中心大型商场商之都旁边，有个公园，叫九墩塘公园。在公园的山上有个可以让人们乘凉的亭子，一棵棵大树插入云霄。往前面走，有一片草坪，人们在上面谈心、玩耍，草坪后面是桂子林，那里的桂花在秋天的时候，开得最茂盛了，不说香飘十里，至少草坪上的人都能闻到它那泌人心脾的香味，足以让人陶醉。

说完了六安的风景，现在咱们来聊聊六安的风俗吧!

春节的习俗很多，大多属一些美好、幸福、吉祥、安康之类的祝愿和盼望。如腊月十八、十九两天为“扫尘日”，除旧布新，祈求康健。腊月二十三或二十四是“小年”为祈求平安。腊月的最后一天为“除夕”，贴春联，挂新画，结彩灯，放爆竹，点花灯，吃团圆饭，合家守岁，翘盼新春。除夕与次年的正月初一、初二为“过年”，正月初三早晨便燃鞭炮“送年”。元宵节是“正月十五大似年”，“早过十五晚过年”是六安的传统。早餐得吃元宵、饺子，元宵中常裹一枚铜钱或硬币吃，吃上者谓可“交财运”，早餐后，或赶会，或观灯，或逛集，或玩乐。

i’m going to the sun on my holiday. i will go there by a spaceship. i will

very hot. so i put on the super-shirt. in the morning， i will have some sun

at eight o’clock， i will play with my friends there. they are super dog and

super girl. super dog is white and black. super girl is very clever. super girl

and super dog like to play with me. so i play with them for forty minutes. then

i do my homework in my little red room on a small blue table. after my home

work， i will have my lunch. i will eat sun salad. i will make some red toy bear

to the sun babies. i will have red juice， red fish and red rice. all the things

are red. then i need a lot of water on the sun because the sun is too hot. so i

will walk to the spaceship. i’ll pilot the spaceship to the earth.

I am Li Yue a student from class onesenior II. I am writing to draw your

attention to some improper behavior among us students ： littering and

scribbling. It makes our school dirty and unpleasant and does harm to the image

of our school. I always feel ashamed whenever I see this. It is clearly not

appropriate for a student to litter and scribble about. I wonder if the school

could place more dustbins around and set up specific rules against such

behavior. At the same time students should be encouraged to develop good habits
