Since I went to college, I feel so excited about the new chapter of my

life. I have imagined the campus life for so many years. Now I finally come to

My answer is no.

The old are still pay more attention to the spring festival， but the young

gradually change the mode to spend their spring festival holiday， such as travel

overseas.

When I am a childhood， I celebrated the spring festival with my family

about a month in my winter vacation in traditional way， such as helping cleaning

our houses， putting red couplets on gates， setting off firecrackers， and wear

new clothes. Now， I spend only 4 or 5 days at home with my parents in

celebrating the spring festival， then I will hurry back to work. Maybe in the

near future， I will have no time celebrating spring festival hometown， and my

parents have to come to stay with us in the city.

Whether or no， I like the spring festival. It is one of the most important

part of our Chinese culture. However busy I am， I will try my best to

celebrating it with the traditional way to protect those our ancestor has leave

behind.

Recently, I have seen an impressive film—“Meet the Parents”, which is about

Christmas Day is very popular around the world, when that day comes, we can

see the Christmas products sell everywhere, though Christmas Day is not

originating from China, in our country, more and more people spend that day. A

foreigner pointed out that Christmas meant to be grateful for them, while for

Chinese people, it was just a day for celebrating. To me, Christmas indeed means

When I was small, I did not have the concept of Christmas, because in my

could get a lot of money from parents. When I went to high school, all of my

friends would talk about Christmas Day when the day was near, so I started to

故乡是我童年生活的天堂，长大后再回去看，却发现与记忆相差很远。家门口那条长街怎么变得那么短？那高大明亮的堂屋为什么变得低矮又阴暗？旁边就读过的小学校怎么不是当年的校园？曾经是村长的二叔怎么病得连我都认不出来？爱到我家窜门爱讲笑话的隔壁二奶呢？当年我那么崇拜的语文老师怎么会离开学校到城里去卖菜？还有跟我一起长大的堂妹，怎么一点也不象当年亲密无间？

年少时，我以为离家越远我就会活得越自在，现在却每天都想用家乡话跟母亲聊天，每个春节都盼着回老家过年。回家之前，我有很多打算，真的回去了，才知道现实有太多无奈。父母老了，我想好好孝敬他们几天，却做不好一顿家乡饭；姑姑命苦，想给她些零花钱，却被她原封不动地塞进了儿子的口袋；奶奶年纪大了，想给她买最爱吃的牛肉，却发现她的牙齿已脱光；堂弟借钱，我却囊中羞涩；想跟童年的伙伴见个面，却得知她们已远嫁异乡；想让儿子多吃点家乡的玉米粥和手擀面，可他说那味道太讨厌！连我自己也不习惯那天气的干旱、交通的不便……

我不得不承认，故乡只属于童年、属于梦幻，属于十多年前，永远不可能再还原。既如此，我只有祝福，祝福故乡和仍然生活在那里的乡亲和家人。
