一、学生写作过程中出现的现状

1.词汇量太少

词汇是英语写作必不可少的基本要素，要写好一篇作文以表达自己的思想，必须以足够的词汇量为基础，但实际上大多数学生掌握的词汇量都达不到规定的要求，因而在写作时也就不能随心所欲地表达自己的思想。出现的问题往往有拼写错误，影响理解;词语误用，表达不准确;某一词语反复使用，语言表达缺乏变式，文章显得单调乏味;文章中出现大量“造词”，让人看了啼笑皆非等。

同时拟定时以单选、完型、阅读等形式考察学生对这些单词的掌握情况，通过测试和竞赛的方式进一步激发大家学习词汇的热情。不过，由于课程的时间安排问题，测试的工作开展较少，这也是实验工作中的一个不足。

2.熟练记住单词

He has been dead for two years. His death made his dog very sad. It is dying.又如写到易混淆的词pay, spend, cost, take 时，可以多种方式表达句意。He paid 20 yuan for the book. He spent 20 yuan on the book. It takes him 20 minutes to read the book every day.等等。这样,通过大量的词汇练习不仅仅能有效地积累词汇，还为组句打下了基础，同时还能训练学生的发散性思维和总结、归纳、比较的能力，为学生正确使用词句奠定了良好的基础。以上这些机械操练虽然枯燥，但很有必要，它是能力培养的基础。在词句落实的基础上，可向学生提出稍高的要求，如写出高质量的句子： What a happy family I have ! Waste management is a big problem for Australia. Australian population continues to grow and we need to use more and more resources and creating more waste. Wastes are substances that have no further use and if disposed of in land water or air can harm humans or the environment. If we don’t do something for the amount of waste that is produced there is a risk that we may run out of room in landfills or even run out of resources and I conducted the surveys from my friends and neighbours to check how many rubbish we need to waste and what is that.

I conducted 20 surveys asking them about type and amount of waste that they generate each week. The results showed that about 35% of people have 2 bags of rubbish per day. And about 25% of people have 1 and 3 bags of rubbish per day. The rest of them have 8+ bags per week. Do you know how large of the number for the rubbish? If an average weight of 2 kg per bag that’s mean we got about 116+kg per week for 20 household. If we have 23 million people in Australia that’s mean we need to waste about 113.4 million rubbishes per week. That’s a really huge number. And then I want to tell them about which strategies they need to be using to make a positive impact on waste management. If we still waste that lot may be one day all the landfill are full and we have to found a new place to set the rubbish and at that time we will be really regret.

The survey result also showed that there were a number of different types of waste thrown out in each household. Just like I think before most of them are food waste (29%) and the following are plastic (21%) garden waste (18%) paper product (15%) glass (10%) miscellaneous (5%) and the last one is aluminium (2%). As you see food waste still pretty much but we can’t do anything to that right? Therefore we need to improve our waste management by recycling the paper product glass and aluminium rather putting them in the garbage. That will be helpful for reduce landfill and save resources. 我的家乡在黑龙江省望奎县，是一座农业小城，虽然这里没有什么名胜古迹，更没有奇珍异宝，不能与大城市相提并论，现在望奎县已经有了翻天覆地的变化。

小时候，妈妈对我说：“儿了，你不知道啊！原先的马路可是土路，有时候一过马车就尘土飞扬，人们一路过就呛的都不行了，那时候从家里都没有什么电视机、电风扇、电灯，只有一个人家就有一台黑白电视机，挂墙上一到晚上人们都领着孩子拿着小板登一家三口人去那个有电视的人家去看电视，那时候她只有两件衣服，得她哥哥、姐姐穿完她才能穿都缝过补丁了。她天天走着走，走到学校上一会课，老师就说：“集体，抬手，跺脚”，要不然太冷了。

现在人们都过上了好日子了，家家户户都有了液晶电视、电脑和电风扇······。查阅资料很方便了，人们也能睡上舒服的大床，自己家都有一台小轿车，上学也方便了。如今，人们也住上了楼房，我们学校原先是土房，现在是砖房，原来吃的是大饼子，现在大饼子都不爱吃了，都是大米饭、鱼、鸡肉、排骨······等许多食品。

如今人们的生活好了，高速公路代替了泥泞的古道，破旧的土房变成了幢幢厂房，儿童乐园充满了欢声笑语，彩灯喷泉装的像仙境一样。我要好好学习把望奎县建设的更加美好。

You want to know sthe changes about my hometown. You know, great changes have taken place since 60 years ago.

In the past, the living conditions were very poor. There were not many buses or cars, and the roads were narrow. Usually, a big family was crowed into a small, dark house. Most families couldn’t get enough food. The communications were simple and slow. People kept in touch with their friends and relatives far away mainly by letter or telegram.

Thanks to the government, our hometown has developed rapidly in recent years. The living conditions are much better and more comfortable. The roads are wide. Some people have their own cars. Most of the people have lived in big new houses. Quite a few adults have mobile phones. Because of many good policies, I think our lives will become better and better.

In the past,my hometown was not very big, people lived a poor life. The houses were old and small.Pollution was serious,and there was rubbish everywhere.the traffic was not very convenient that so few people came here.

Now great changes have taken place in my hometown.The environment has become more beautiful.The mountains are all green,the river clearer and the sky bluer.Many people all have thier own cars and have a happy life everyday.And now, every year,thousands of people from all over the world come to visit our hometown.My hometown becomes more and more famous.

Im sure my hometown will become better and better in the future.

I am from shenzhen. In spring ,the weather is warm and wet.I can play kite. In summer, the weather is hot and wet. I can swim in the swimming pool. In the autumn, the weather is cool and dry. I can play kite, too. In the winter, the weather is cold and dry. It never snows.

the beijing zoo is the largest in asia and one of the largest in the world. there are hundreds of different kinds of animals in it.

we can see yellow, green, orange and brown birds, which can sing nice songs. the elephants have a long nose and big ears and they are kind to humans. we can also see big and little monkeys running and dancing, just like happy children. pandas, with good manners, are very friendly and polite to visitors. we will certainly have a good time there.

An Enlightening Night

That was really an unforgettable night.I was waiting for buses at the station.There came an old lady, who was running to catch the bus.However,she was knocked down by a bike and the rider just ran away.The first thing came to my mind was the famous Pengyu’s incident,which shocked the ethic line of our society.All of a sudden,I was in a dilemma.I worried that I may be involved in troubles if I gave a hand to the

elderly,as Pengyu’s incident was like a warning.So I was frozen.What surprised me most was that a passer-by girl,rushing across the street without hesitation,putting the old lady on her back and carrying her to a hospital nearby.At that moment,I felt so embarrassed and ashamed that I wanted to crawl a hole and never come out.She was just a student but she did something what an adult like me was afraid of.

Never in my dream did I imagine that girl could have such an impact on my view of moral obligation.From then on,I decide to help strangers who is in need without hesitation and reservation.Because only in this way can our society become more harmonious.From my perspective,that little girl teaches me a lot that night.The

conscience of the many outweighs the wicked behaviors of the few.That’s what we should keep in mind no matter what we experience.

Nowadays, many families have a dog or a cat as a pet. Some people think

that pets are good and helpful companies. Some of them even go so far as saying

that animals are as good as humans, and their rights should be respected .Senior

citizens are especially fond of keeping pet because they are always feeling

lonely at home and they see the cats or dogs as their partner.

But some other people do not like pets. They say that animals are noisy,

dirty and dangerous. They think laws should be made to forbid people from

keeping pets in cities and towns.

In my opinion, pets are loyal friends that will never betray us. Staying

with pets, we shall enjoy happiness and feel relaxed. Most important of all,

keeping pets helps people to reduce loneliness and forget their unpleasant

things for the time being.

As the Christmas Day is coming, our class decided to send some gifts to our

teachers, because we wanted to show our gratitude to them. At first, we had no

idea what to buy, because we wanted to do something special. So at last an idea

came to my mind. I advised to write a card, pasting some pictures of classmates

on it. Everybody agreed with me, so we spent a day to take some funny pictures,

and everybody wrote down their names on the card. When we sent this gift to the

teachers, they loved it so much. They were so impressed by this precious

surprise and would keep it forever.
