The establishment of World Environment Day shows people’s the cognition and the attitude to the environmental problem, and expresses our human beings’ desire of pursuing the better environment. Every year the United Nations Environment Program proposes a theme, and the 2014 theme of this day will focus on ‘Small Island and Climate change’ and the slogan is “Raise Your Voice Not the Sea Level”.

世界环境日，起始于1972年，它是联合国为了提高全球的环保意识而创建的。环境日的创立展现了人们对环境问题的认识和态度，表达了人们对美好环境的追求渴望。每一年联合国环境规划署都会提出一个环境日主题，而的主题主要着重于小岛屿与气候变化，今年的口号是“提高你的呼声，而不是海平面”。

World Environment Day can be celebrated in lots of ways, for instances, planting trees, doing some recycling, participating the clean-up campaigns and so on. Certainly people can also do something simple, like going to work by bus instead of private cars. I believe if everyone takes environmental actions as a habit, we are doing a big difference for the better environment.庆祝世界环境日的方式多种多样，例如植树，对废物进行循环利用，参加清洁行动等等。

当然，人们也可以做些简单的小事来纪念，比如说不做私家车上班，改乘公交车去上班。我相信只要大家都将这些环保小事当作习惯，我们将会为建造美好环境做出重大贡献。

In high school, Chinese students study very hard to fight for the future

college, while in western countries, students are spending time in taking all

kinds of activities. Though students from different countries have different

ways to spend high school time, they make the decision and take charge of their

life. This is the best age to learn knowledge, their brain can remember words

and numbers quickly. For making friends, they will probably meet their lifetime

friends. During three years, besides gaining knowledge and making friends, they

grow so fast, not only in body, but also in mind. Being independent is the main

feature. They can make a lot of decisions without asking parents for help. When

they are equipped themselves with basic skill, then they can better get used to

the new environment, which is important for future life.

My hometown has changed a lot.In the past the streets were dirty but they are quite clean now.And todays hometown is rather different from that of the past

for example,the traffic was terrible in the past,but its safe now.In a word,with the lead of the CPC.my hometown has been becoming more and more beautiful!

听，那远处火车的汽笛声;人们在耕作时的汗滴下来的声音;小孩们个个身上抹着泥巴互相嬉闹的声音。没错，这就是我的家乡。

我出生在河南周口的一处小村子里，那里有山有水，风景如画，是个美丽的地方。

冬天，所有的事物都被雪娃娃亲吻遍，露出洁白的底色。寒冷的北风把池塘冻得像块蓝宝石，冻得野鸡不敢乱跑，恶狗不敢出门。这时就让我们这群孩子王有机可趁了：穿上暖和的衣物，出门拿着棍子去抓野鸡，打恶狗。而后被主人高声呵斥，“哗啦”一声全散开了，银铃般的笑声传向远方;而主人只能眼睁睁地看着我们跑掉，生气却又无可奈何。当然，我们还可以堆雪人，打雪仗，放鞭炮……到处充满笑声，快乐的情绪在村子里蔓延。

春天来了，所有的生物像是约好了似的，欣欣然张开了眼。池塘开始解冻了，鱼儿们蹿到近水面，吐起了泡泡，光秃秃的枝丫上冒出了几片嫩叶，山上开始泛出新绿色……到处生机勃勃，生命的气息在村子里穿梭。孩子们在湿软的泥地里蹦跶，一点儿也不为弄脏的小脸儿发愁。

夏天一转眼就到了，蝉儿飞到早已茂密的树上，鸟儿也早已搬回他们旧时的家。到处都响着鸟儿清亮的歌声和蝉儿时高时低的伴奏。人们热得受不了了，脱掉了春日的旧赏，穿上了鲜亮的短衫。花儿们也感到夏天那似火的热情，伸了个懒腰，在众人前将裙摆再展开得大些，似乎想和人们比比谁更鲜亮。到处五彩缤纷，到处万紫千红。

秋婆婆总担心乡亲们耐不住热，迫不及待地赶来了。凉爽的秋风轻柔地扫去枯黄的叶子，月亮在秋天那蓝宝石般的星空显得皎洁如斯。池塘边的青蛙为纺织娘打着节拍，到处都有萤火虫一闪一闪的微光，宁静笼罩在村子上空，安了农人们的丰收梦。

我的家乡，谈不上四季如春，也谈不上富可敌国，但我喜欢这儿，喜欢这里冬季的洁白，春天的新绿，夏日的缤纷，秋夜的宁静……我喜欢这里。

一转眼，二十看过去了。我已经长在成人了，想起二十年前往事历历在目。

我走在公路上，发现在在大家是用太阳能汽车。这种汽车比以前的汽车快了十倍。这种汽车不用油，只需要阳光和乌云，就能开动。我也不用怕阳光和乌云不见了。这种汽车能吸收二氧化碳排出氧气。它还能自动清理公路上的垃圾。

走到半路上我停了下来想：这里的树长得怎么这么绿这么壮?我回家问了妈妈，妈妈说是：“这种树不像以前，它不但可以吸收二氧化碳排出氧气。还可以自动把附近的垃圾化成氧气。”

回到家，我发现有个超小的东西。把家里打扫的干干净净的。我奇怪的问了妈妈，妈妈说：“这种东西可以自动打扫。还可以排出清新甜润的空气。如果没电了还会自动回到指定的位置充电。”

末来的家乡，都是靠大家的努力共同创造起来的。希望我们从现在开始努力，让末来的家乡更加美丽，大自然更加漂亮!
