In my childhood, summer holidays left a deep impression on me. They brought me many happy memories now.

Everyday we got up early then. Though there was not much modern entertainment, we could still be content with climbing trees, swimming in the small river, catching butterflies , bees and or something. Anyway, we could give a full play to our imagination and intelligence to enjoy ourselves.

The most enjoyable time in a day was night. All people would go out to be cool. They talked with each other freely and happily. my secret worry

while fear of death is universal, my worry about death is so overwhelming that there is not a moment passing without my thinking of it. i never bring this up with any other, just because no one will ever realize the seriousness of this problem. i know it very clearly that as long as there is life, there will be death. in addition, though i am still so far away from death, i have been plagued by the thought of it for years. fortunately, the root of my fear of death lies in my overzealous love for life. i am too timid to think of the end of life, when every worldly affair should be thrown away. how can i carry on without friendship, affection, and joy of being alive? i really hate to leave all these behind. to ease my worry about death, i should make the fullest use of this life i now possess. concentration on this life can at least temporally make me forget about death. as a matter of fact, i really don＇t need to worry so much about death, for i already have too much to worry about this life.

I was so busy in the previous winter holiday for I am going to take the

university entrance exam in July this year. Everyday, I buried myself in

studying. I had to review each required subject and do lots of exercises.

Besides, because I did bad in mathematics and physics, I had to do much more

exercises than other courses, which made me discouraged. I spent more than ten

hours a day in studying. When I was tired, I watched TV or listened to music for

a little while. But It was a big pity that I couldnt go to the see cinema. In

addition, I had to refuse all the invitations of friends and relatives. I only

called them or sent messages in the New Year’s Eve. I desperately hoped that

there is no exam but I know it’s impossible. The only thing I can do is to study

夏天，翠绿的黄山，在南方来的暖湿空气的吹拂下，于七月份进入夏季，但黄山高处全年无夏日。亲人曹文埴有句诗：四月始知春，一岁竟无夏。描写的正是黄山这种气候清凉的情况。

秋季别有种种胜景。秋高气爽，白云碧汉，丹枫似火，草深果黄。徐霞客也因此赞赏黄山秋景：枫林相间，五色纷披，灿若图秀。

还因为林茂色艳，鸟语花香，生气盎然，被人们称为秋天里的春天。

冬天来的早，时间长。黄山之冬并不是北风呼啸，冰雪难耐，令人生畏。其实，这里的冬天是寒而不冻。黄山四季皆胜景，唯有腊冬景更佳，冬半年的景色并无萧条冷落的感觉，往往比夏半年还优美。

我的家乡不仅风景优美，土特产也不少呦!

豆腐中质量最好的数淮南八公山一带，叫做八公山豆腐。这种豆腐采用纯黄豆做原料，加八公山的泉水精致而成。以细、白、鲜、嫩深受欢迎。

享誉世界的黄梅戏也出于我的家乡。著名的有：《天仙配》、《女驸马》、《红楼梦》、《孟姜女》、《长恨歌》如今的黄梅戏不仅在国内家喻户晓，在海外也日益受到欢迎，将黄梅戏称为中国的乡村音乐。

露从今夜白，月是故乡明。那永恒的月色，是你永远的暖色调。习旧了落木萧萧的深秋肃景，饱识了叶红南北，寒菊傲霜的寒秋韵色，但是当我们正准备要去唏嘘谈笑它帷幕下真诚而神趣横溢的本色之时而冬却又在沉寂中赶来了，虽没有粉妆银雪前呼后拥，但是空气中真的寒了一分，丛峻之中多了丝丝晶莹少的则是枯乏——无味，在初冬的笔下没有浓妆淡沫，但就是在这寂寞的冬中我们这些异乡儿啊却隐隐感受到了一丝温暖，他仿佛来自遥远，但却又是近在咫尺，那是万千游子望月而思的地方——家乡。

冬天，我们家乡是个白雪凯凯的的季节，厚厚的积雪给庄稼盖上了一层白被子，地面上积起的一堆雪，孩子们就开始了打雪仗，堆雪人，开心极了。

我的家乡在通海县兴蒙乡，这是一个山清水秀，美丽富饶的地方。

兴蒙乡有许多特产，而最出名的就要数甜瓜了。看!那一排排白色的瓜棚里，一年四季都可以栽种和收获，无论是风和日丽的春天，夏日炎炎的夏天，金风送爽的秋天，还是小雪纷飞的冬天，在瓜棚里都能见到又圆又大的甜瓜。

一天，舅舅从老家来城里看我们，给我们带来了许多甜瓜，你看那甜瓜，浅白色的身子，披着一身毛茸茸的外衣，显得特别神气，嘿，摸上去还带刺呢!听舅舅说，甜瓜的品种有许多，有香甜可口的“红尊”……

我被舅舅说得口水都流出来了，赶紧拿了一个甜瓜，迫不及待地把它洗好，放在砧板上，用刀把它均匀地切成四瓣。只见甜瓜里的汁儿直往外流，轻轻掰开，露出了晶莹剔透的果肉，里面还有许多小小的白色的籽，仿佛许多小公主住在水灵灵的摇篮里。

闻一闻，啊，酸中带甜，甜中还夹杂着一股淡淡的清香，令人垂涎三尺。尝一尝，哇，真是香甜爽口，清脆多汁，美味极了，吃完后，还回味无穷，令人越吃越爱吃。要是在炎热的夏天能吃上几口甜瓜，那可真是甜凉解渴，爽极了!

通过查阅相关资料，我知道了：甜瓜属于葫芦汁，是蔓生草本植物，原产于非洲热带沙漠地区，大约在北魏时期随着西瓜一同传人中国，明朝开始广泛种植。2008年，我的家乡兴蒙开始大量种植甜瓜，因为家乡的土壤，气候都比较合适甜瓜的生长。现在，甜瓜已成为

了兴蒙乡一道亮丽的风景，而且给兴蒙乡带来了很好的经济效益。

甜瓜全身都是宝。甜瓜的根、茎、叶、花、果实、瓜皮、都可以供药用。甜瓜的茎能治齆鼻;叶能治头癣;花能治心痛、毒疮;皮可以用来治疗牙痛，真是用处多多。

我的家乡在高州市沙田镇，是个龙眼之乡。我爱家乡的一草一木，更家家乡的特产——龙眼。

我的家乡漫山遍野都是龙眼，郁郁葱葱的，像一片绿色的海洋，龙眼树的外表并没有什么惊人之处，但是它的果质好，甜味十足。我很早就尝到了这种甜而不腻、糯而爽口的特色了。

春去夏来，转眼间，果实已挂满枝头了，把树枝都压弯了腰。细看龙眼，只见它是圆圆的，细的只有黄豆那么大，大则有拇指那么大了。龙眼在不同的阶段是有不同的味道的：熟透的龙眼甜津津的，没有熟透的则有一种苦涩的感觉。只要你轻轻地剥开龙眼的皮，你就可以闻到龙眼那独特的芳香了。在晶莹圆润的果肉里嵌着棕黑色的核。

When we are very small, we dream to be the great person in the future, such

as the scientist, the policeman and so on. It is good for the children to own

the big dream, so that they will study hard and fight for their future. But the

fact is that not all the person can become the great person, most people are

doing the ordinary jobs. In my opinion, ordinary is beautiful, too. Though they

are not doing the fine jobs, they find their own place and make a contribution

to the world. Take the cleaner for example. They wake up early and do the

cleaning work. People dare not to do the job because it is so dirty, but the
