江西省吉安县在中秋节的傍晚，每个村都用稻草烧瓦罐。待瓦罐烧红后，再放醋进去。这时就会有香味飘满全村。新城县过中秋时，自八月十一夜起就悬挂通草灯，直至八月十七日止。
