除夕的早上，大家都忙着贴对联，挂灯笼，好一片红红火火的景象。早上外婆搞了一盆浆糊，我和爸爸忙的贴了起来，我在墙上涂浆糊，爸爸在墙上贴对联，上联是：一帆风顺吉星到下联是：万事如意福临门横批：财源广进。最后，爸爸站在椅子上把几个红灯笼挂了起来。

到了傍晚，吃年夜饭了，外婆把一桌非常丰富的饭菜端了上来，一家人开开心心的吃了起来，吃完后，大人们都给我了压岁钱，我非常高兴。之后，我们一家守在电视机前等待着春节联欢晚会的开始，不知不觉的到了晚上八点，春节联欢晚会开始了，里面有相声，歌舞，和小品……好看极了。零点的钟声即将敲响时，电视里全国人民已经进入了倒计时“十，九，八……”外面已经响起了“噼里啪啦”的鞭炮声。我们也不例外，也在门口放了起来。外面的烟花五颜六色，漂亮极了!

正月初一，我穿上了新衣服，爸爸妈妈带着我，提着礼品去给长辈拜年，每到一处，我都会收到一个红包，还能吃到各家的美味佳肴，还有好吃的糖果。

My father took me out fishing today. At the beginning, we spent a long time

waiting there but there was no fish. I was very impatient and didnt want to

stay there. I wanted to come home. Father said to me, "Dont give up everything

easily. We should keep on trying hard".

我父亲今天带我去钓鱼。一开始，我们花了好长时间都没有鱼。我很不耐烦，不想等了，想回家。爸爸对我说，做什么事情都不要轻易废弃。我们应该继续努力。

Today is my birthday and Im so excited about it. In the morning I put a note on the table for my mum and it said, "Today is my birthday, dont forget it!" At school, I got many gifts and cards from my classmates and had a lot of fun. But I was still expecting the birthday party after school.

When it was time to leave school I couldnt wait to go home. When I open the door, there wasnt anybody in the house. There was only a note that said, "Coming home late tonight,mum and dad. "I try to call them but there was no answer.I was so shocked,do they forget my birthday?How could this be! I was so sad that I couldnt eat anything. I just did my homework and waited for them.

And then,things changed completely. It was about time for dinner, my mother called and told me to go to the restanrant near our house. When I got there I couldnt believed my eyes. Everybody was there:my parents,my relatives, my friends and even my classmates. There was so many gifts and a big cake. What a surprising birthday party! We had a good time and it was the best birthday party ever.

今天是我的生日，我很兴奋。早上我把一张纸条放在桌子上对我的妈妈说，“今天是我的生日，别忘了它！”在学校里，我从我的同学那得到了许多礼物和卡片,我很开心。但我仍然期待放学后的生日晚会。

当放学的时候，我迫不及待的想回家。当我打开门的时候，没有人在房子里。只有一张纸条，说，“今晚会晚回家，妈妈和爸爸。”我试着打电话给他们，但没有人回答。我很震惊，他们忘了我的生日？怎么会是这样！我伤心的我不能吃下任何东西。我只是做了我的家庭作业，等他们。

Reading Is a Good Hobby

With development of science and technology, new knowledge comes every day. If you stop learning even for a day,you will be lost. Reading is a good way to help you keep in touch with the outside world. Read widely and youll be rich in knowledge. Reading is also a good way to relax yourself. You can get a lot of fun in the books. A good book is a good friend to comfort you when you are unhappy. So long as you have a good book at hand, youll never feel lonely. Last summer holiday, I went to HaiNan with my family. The weather was pleasant! The sky was blue more than I could describe, the sea was blue and bright more than I could believe. Bedsides swimming, we also had a good meal there. We had a nice seafood dish.

It was the first day of our summer holiday. All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have one months to do things we love to do. We are free. Although we have some homework. But we can finish them in several days. And the rest time we can make good use of. My god! We have been very tired after hard studying. In summer holidays, I will have a good rest.
