popular means of transport in China for quite a long time. Most people will

still ride bicycles to go to work or to school. The emperor country of bicycles

will remain for at least dozens of years.

在紧张和担心中，西河小学51届田径运动会拉开了序幕，我有幸代表学校小学部参加比赛。

这次运动会我将参加200米和400米两个项目的比赛。我曾听哥哥说过，参加市运动会的个个都是身怀绝技、数一数二的高手，实力很强。林老师告诉我，这次有57所学校参加本次运动会。这么多所学校，运动员肯定更多了，和这么多顶尖高手竞技，我能拿到理想的成绩吗?我的心一下子提到了嗓子眼。

200米比赛开始了，我是女子乙组的第一个。我换好了一身的“装备”，做着赛前的热身活动。此时，我就像是一位即将走向战场为国效力的将士。虽然心中的紧张依然，但激情昂扬、蓬蓬勃发的斗志早已占了上风，我浑身充满了力量。你看，老师们正给予我鼓励的目光;你瞧，战友们在为我呐喊助威。

上了赛道，我蓄势待发。我的眼睛紧盯着前方，耳朵注意着裁判。“各就各位——预备——砰——”随着一声枪响，我飞快地冲了出去。我快，有人比我更快，只见旁边的一位选手如离弦之箭从我身边“飞”向前方跑道。我一下子慌了，脚步也乱了。顿时，又有几位选手从我身边“飞”过去。此时，我的耳边响起了老师的教导，战友的鼓舞。“对，我不能慌，冷静!冷静!我能做到!”调节了呼吸，调整了步伐，我在她们身后一阵猛追，超过一个，再超一个……冲过终点，虽然没拿到前几名，但我超越了自己。经受了一次考验，第三天的400米比赛我也发挥了正常水平。

激烈的运动会在一片欢呼声中拉下了帷幕，我们学校取得了全市第七的优异战绩。第51届田径运动会，请等着欣赏我更卓越的风彩吧!

迈克是我的好朋友。每当我需要帮助时，他就来到我身边。一天放学了，我不得不留下来跟3组的同学一起打扫卫生。但3组的其他人都在外边玩，他们谁都不想回来。于是迈克就过来帮我扫地。真是优秀作文 ，患难朋友才是真正的朋友。

Mike is my good friend. Any time I need help, he will come to me. One day after school, I had to stay and clean the classroom with Group Three. But they were still playing outside without any sign to go back. So Mike came and helped me clean the floor. A friend in need is a friend indeed.

Since the first day of my winter vacation, I’ve decided to make it a

valuable and enjoyable one. I made a plan to finish my homework within the first

week, and after days of hard working, I actually got all my assignments done a

day earlier. I am pretty proud of myself for not —as usual —hang out with my

friends until the last few days of my vacation and rush through my homework.

In the rest of my winter vacation, I made up my mind to improve my reading

skills. I’ve had tons of books that I simply bought and put them on my shelf,

wishing some day they would be finished themselves. But this time, I realized I

was not trying my best last term and decided to make some change. I finished a

couple of novels and watched some classic movies, I also went to a library to

borrow some new books for next term. The more I read the more enthusiastic I

became, and now I’ve developed my reading skills a lot.

Another event in my winter vacation is that I went to hiking with my

parents. It was a warm, sunny day, which is pretty precious during winter time.
