Sunrise at Sea

I would often get up early to watch the sunrise when it was not yet quiet light and all was quiet except for the droning of the ship engine.

The sky was pale with a bluish blue. Soon a streak of pink dawn broke over the horizon，expanding gradually and becoming brighter and brighter. Knowing that the sun was about to rise, I had my eyes fixed on the distant edge of the sea.

As expected, the sun soon appeared revealing half of its face, which was very red but not bright It kept rising laboriously bit by bit as if weighted down with a heavy burden on its back until，after breaking through the rosy clouds;it completely emerged from the sea aglow with a lovely red. Sometimes, with thick layers of dark clouds hanging in the sky, the sun was hardly visible to the naked eye. But its radiance managed to show through the dark clouds to edge them with golden lace. However, the chinese spring festival has no religious background while christmas has something to do with god and there is santa claus with white heard to bring children presents. Last Qingming Festival,i return home to worship my grandfather.Qingming

Festival is a folk Festival.In the past,the Qingming Festival was called "Arbor

Day". But Today, Chinese visit their family graves to tend to any underbrush

that has grown. Weeds are pulled, and dirt swept away, and the family will set

out offerings of food and spirit money. Unlike the sacrifices at a familys home

altar, the offerings at the tomb usually consist of dry, bland food. One theory

is that since any number of ghosts rome around a grave area, the less appealing

food will be consumed by the ancestors, and not be plundered by strangers.

With the passing of time, this celebration of life became a day to the

honor past ancestors. Following folk religion, the Chinese believed that the

spirits of deceased ancestors looked after the family. Sacrifices of food and

spirit money could keep them happy, and the family would prosper through good

harvests and more children.

The tomb-sweeping day as a holiday, are different from pure solar terms.

Solar term is a sign of phenology change, seasonal order in China, and it is

more a festival of custom activities and some memorable.

Tomb-sweeping day is Chinas traditional festival, is also the most

important memory of ancestors and the grave. This grave to commemorate the dead

mans a kind of activity. The han nationality and some minority are mostly in

下午的女子4×300由于韩可欣腰疼，所以我来代替他跑。我虽然是第三棒但也无比的紧张甚至还有点儿腿软，第一棒是朱涵笑由于她肚子痛的原因所以在

第一棒跑了个第三，第二棒梦梦希她保持住了名次，把棒接给了我。我接了棒就奋力疾驰，跑到班级那边还听到了隐隐约约的加油声。但跑到足球门那儿我就没有力气了但想想同学们的加油声我咬了咬牙坚持了下来。跑完之后累得我都站不住了韩可欣过来扶我回班。最后我们女子4乘300跑了第三名虽然没得什么好名次但已经尽力了。

我们都很期待最后的名次，也都纷纷议论着在最后的闭幕仪式里我们获得了“精神文明奖”的奖项。下面就要宣布总名次了！我们屏气凝神直到听见“七班荣获第二名”时便集体欢呼了起来。

I am Sally， Everyday

I am very busy. I have too many rules in my house. I have to get up at six o’clock every morning. I must have my breakfast at 7:00 o’clock . I can’t meet my friends after school because I have to walk my dog.(.溜狗) I can’t watch TV on school nights. And I have to be in bed by 10:00 o’clock. On weekends, I have
