第一项比赛三千米竞走马上就要开始了。听到三千米这个数字后，我不禁打了个寒战，三千米！要围着操场走上十圈，走三千米已经够累了，还有几个对手时时刻刻都会超过你，不管是毅力还是勇气，都有很大的难度。

只听一声枪响，比赛开始了。每位运动员都毫不犹豫地加速向前走去，由于我们班有一位女同学参加了，所以，我们从比赛一开始就目不转睛地盯着参加这场比赛的运动员们。

一开始，我们班的那个同学就落后到倒数第二名，我感觉，我们还有反超的希望，反正还有很长时间。但是我们班的那个同学体力渐渐下降，最后一名离她越来越近。到了最后几圈的时候由于最后一名和我们班的那个同学是小学同学，他们开始说起话来了，我看着，总感觉怪怪的。不出我所预料，最后一名在离终点十米处反超了，我们班取得了最后一名的成绩。

在男子4*100米接力中，我们班第一棒落后在第三的位置上，可是，当第一棒将接力棒递给了第二棒时，第二棒立刻像离弦的箭一样冲了出去，实现了反超，连续超越两名对手，成为了第一，当田乐源把接力棒递给张旭的时候，我们的胜局已定，只见张旭冲向终点，离终点越来越近，后面的对手再怎么奋力追赶也无济于事，我们赢了，第一名！当他们回到班级时，我们的掌声久久不能停息。

最扣人心弦的是下午的男子4*300的接力，我们班一开始就处于领先的位置，在我们的田乐源接棒的时候，我感觉，我们就要赢了，当第二名接棒的时候，田乐源已经跑出去快半圈了，可田乐源还在加速，他好像有用不完的力气，遥遥领先后面的选手，当我们的最后一棒张旭接棒的时候，第二名已经毫无胜算，张旭就像一只黑色的猎豹一样，飞快的向前冲去，“张旭，加油！张旭，加油！”我们热情高涨，加油助威声高过其他班级，离终点近了，更近了，十米，五米，二米，一米，赢了！我们的欢呼声一浪高过一浪……

当宣布成绩的时候，我们班获得了总分第2名的好成绩。

同时，我也明白了一个道理：集体荣誉不是一个人得来的，是靠我们的团结拼搏出来的。成功是靠拼出来的，只要肯努力拼搏，才能品尝到成功的果实。

The Olympic games are held every four years. The winter Olympics are usually held two years before the summerOlympics. The old Olympic games began around the year 776 B.C. in Greece. After about the year 393 A.D., the Olympic games stopped. The first Olympic games in modern times took place in 1896. 311 competitors took part in the games. Every year, my school holds sports meeting in about September, I am very exciting about it, I can watch the wonderful game and dont have class. My schools sports meeting lasts three days, the class is suspended, all the students go to the play ground to watch the game. As an audience, I am so nervous and yell out "come on" to my classmate, watching they get to the final line, I am so proud of them. After a long cold winter when I have rarely been out on my bike, the weather has finally turned warmer and even sunny occasionally. Yesterday I had a surprise call from Tom suggesting we turn out for a short ride. This being my intention anyway I gladly agreed and we met up at Jiedaokou Station at about ten o’clock.

As Tom has a permanent Sunday Lunch appointment at 12-30pm we opted to make a round trip to Hannan . The weather was cloudy but dry and as we were both a bit out of condition after a long winter lay off we took the easy option of taking the train to Shiyan to get us on top of the ridge with an easy start for the trip.

A long coast down to Jiangtan and straight on to Mount End saw us climbing up to Zhongshan Park. The climb got stiffer but still Tom kept on riding. Gritting my teeth I followed on and crested the hill, Then the usual Essex switchback with an enforced short walk for both of us part way along saw us at Tawny common. Round the common we went, to the Mole Trap, an erstwhile rough old country pub now tarted up for the motorists. I don’t go in there any more, so we sat on the adjacent public seat for a while and a short natter.

Time enough to break away, Tom to his lunch appointment, me for home by way of theYellow Crane Tower and Changjiang Bridge. See you in a while, crocodile! I arrived home about 2 o’clock. Just in time for my own Sunday lunch .
