Today, I do something stupid because of my carelessness. I take a bus to school every morning. But today, I was on the wrong bus and I realized it ten minutes. Many countries try their best to bid forhosting the Olympic Games. And every country does its best to get more medals in the Games. In 2000, the city of Sidney held the 27th Olympic Games. Over one hundred countries all over the world took part in it. We won 28gold medals that year. China, a major sport country, will hold the 29th Olympic Games in 2008. People from all walks of life are participating in various activities and making good preparations for it. There are five rings on the Olympic flag, which are considered to symbolize, the five continents: Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and America. The Olympic motto is: "Swifter, higher, stronger." The Games can promote the understanding and friendship among different peoples and different nations.

I

consider my parents as the most important people in my life. This is not because

they’re wealthy or famous. Rather, what I value about most is the care and love

they show to me.

My

parents might work hard, but they’re always there for me. Whenever I get into

trouble and desperately need a hand, they come over first to support me and

encourage me. I grew up with their constant care and love. While they’re getting

older with grey hair and wrinkles, they never lose dignity in both life and

jobs.

From

my parents, I have learned that one person can really make a difference. I’ll

never forget their care and love. Gratefulness brings a great fullness to life.

I wish they could always be happy and healthy. It is high time we expressed our

gratitude to people we cherish!

"生命在于运动"这是一句耳熟能详的至理名言。生命在于运动，运动能增强体魄，运动也能给人带来乐趣。我爱运动，尤其爱跑步。妈妈说我从小就爱跑，虽然不是跑的很快，但我总是不停息，即使跑得已气喘吁吁也不肯就此放弃，必须达到目的地。

记得上次，我们全家去花果山游玩。爬山很艰难，我们便选择了爬山阶。当时，我一见到阶梯就乐得欣喜若狂。因为我家就住在顶楼，每次上楼下楼都不时锻炼着我，还有老爬楼梯早就习惯了，对于我来说，不就爬山嘛，小菜一碟！

可踏上第一层阶梯时，可想而知，太高了，比普通楼梯还高啊！我想了想："不管三七二十一、四七二十八的，坚持不懈就是胜利！"

于是，我每踏一步就说一个字："坚--持--到--底--就--是--胜--利！"刚爬到半山腰的我，回头望了望家人，哈哈！他们全都被我甩后面了。看到这里，我不禁得意起来。当我爬到山顶时，一股胜利的喜悦感顿时涌上心头，乐得我合不拢嘴，此时我真像有一股使不完的劲，真想跑完1千米再回来。

等大人们都上来后，我便在他们的前面狂跑，任由他们追，等他们追得上接不接下气的时候，我便跑到他们面前对他们说："就这点路程都跑不完，真差劲。"妈妈却对我说："你行，你去跑吧！我们不追你了，跑丢了可不关我们的事啊！"妈妈的话音刚落，大家都起劲了来逗我、"控诉"我。

结果，我竟像"丧家犬"似的，跟在他们身后，他们也是漫无目的地，东看看，西望望，我始终如"跟屁虫"似的跟着他们。

突然，他们一转头，眼睛齐刷刷地看着我，一时间一言不发，我顿时不知所措，只见他们拿出一个猴子挂件，兴高采烈地说："喜欢吗？我们每人都买一个。"说实在的，还蛮漂亮的。可我的心思只想自由自在地跑。唉！谁让他们把我像宝贝一样握得紧紧地，唉，顺其自然吧！

运动不仅增强了我的体质、锻炼了我的毅力，还让我从其中感到快乐。

有一次，我和哥哥进行一次跑步，由于我"笨鸟先飞"，快跑一步，可哥哥马上就要追上来了，我便拼命地跑可还是被"超车"了，我不甘落后，奋起直追，我以超强的毅力追上哥哥，哥哥不行了，直喘粗气，最后停了下来，我又"超车"了，我赢了！哈哈哈哈！

最后，我想到了古希腊的格言："如果你想强壮，跑步吧！如果你想健美，跑步吧！如果你想聪明，跑步吧！"
