I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. summer and winter holidays, thus I will have more free time to relax myself.

Mid-autumn festival is one of the most important festivals for Chinese

people. At that time, people will come back home and spend time with their

families. The meaning of this festival is to provide people a chance to get

reunion. Chinese people pay special attention to the family reunion. It is a

good tradition, which is inherited for thousands of years. Mooncake is the

classic food, which can represent this festival. The most exciting moment for me

is to appreciate the moon at the balcony and chat with my families. We eat some

March 12th is Tree Planting Day. This year our school bought enough trees

before that day . On that day , we didnt had classes . The teachers and our

classmates planted trees around our school.

We began to planted trees as soon as we got to school . some students dug

the holes . Some students put the trees into the holes.

Some students put the earth back to the holes. Then we pushed the earth

hard with our feet . At last we watered the trees as much as possible.

From then on we looked after the trees carefully and the trees grew very

well. It made our shcool more beautiful .And How happy we are!

Every one has a different personality. I have an optimistic personality and

I always do everything happily. But not every one finds this easy. When I meet

people like this, I usually advise them to see the school councilor. There are

reasons why everyones personality is so different. If your parents love you and

care about you, then your personality will be healthy and happy. If your parents

dont, then your personality could sad and withdrawn. A persons personality

determines his or her future. So if you come across someone who is often

worried, you can try and help them or tell them to seek help from a

十岁，那时候总以为家乡便是童话的乐园，虽然没有电视上出现的那些五颜六色的灯，也没有穿的花花绿绿的人。一条普通的河从村中横过，它真的很普通，就连如今的我似乎也叫不出它的名字来，只知道这么多年了，从来没有停过，或许只有它才是那时我的最好见证。我有一个十分响亮的名字，叫做宁宁，虽是爸爸的朋友替我取的小名，但我却是很喜欢它。每当叔叔阿姨问我的名字时，我总会大声而自豪的告诉他们，我的名字是宁宁。当时总是自信的认为宁宁就是世界上最好听的名字，没人能超越得了的那种，而我就是。所以与别人在一起玩的时候，总有一种不甘屈于人的心态，以致于做过许多令人哭笑不得的事，这些都已是后语了。

读小学的时候，学校就在家门口，竟没有两分钟的路程，每天早上吃两个荷包蛋和一碗米饭，不知为啥，这样吃了差不多六年竟也吃不厌，吃过之后就背着那个原本灰色如今黑色的书包去了。这个书包是妈妈给我做的，别人都说我的书包丑，但我却认为它很独特，自然很是喜欢。我们的学校很小，几乎只是学校周围几户人家的子女在这里读书，同学之间几乎都是空闲时一起打野仗的死党，我是最让老师头疼的学生，我真的搞不明白，老师他老人家为什么会对我说这些话，因为我总认为我做的还不错，有时还处处发挥着模范带头作用，不知是不是受冤枉了。虹和我的关系确实很好，可能是他真的很挑食，或许是他早上没有吃两个荷包蛋。那身材瘦的真的很容易让人产生联想。他很怕我，只因我经常打他。但我确实又很怕他，每当打他之后，都会有个凶神恶煞般的男人领着他到处找我，一旦被逮到，我或许又要哀嚎了，而那个男人就是我爸。

不知为何，我的学习成绩一直很好，稳居班级前三，同学们都知道，大家受批评的是我，期末领奖状的也是我，当时来我家的人，看着墙上的奖状都会发出很好听的夸奖，这些对我来说真的没有他打的影响，因为我总以为自己是公主，本来就和别人不一样，但我真的不知道以后的造化算不算得上特别。那时，我总有两段十分向往和十分留恋的时光，一段是暑假，另一段是寒假，对它们的期盼亦如盼望压岁钱一般，只要一到暑假，所有的地方都会成为我们的游乐场，学校、田里、家里、山中那时每个人腰间都别有一把弹弓，说是抓小鸟用的，但是他们的技术就连如今的我都是强烈鄙视的，每次都是我让她们大开眼界，每次都是自豪兴奋得飘飘然的，如今想起不禁一阵苦笑。久而久之，我自然成了这伙人中弹弓技术最好的人，大伙眼中那个羡慕啊，这我都知道，怎么办呢？偷着乐呗！但通过复杂的心里斗争以及大伙的请求以及那些惹人的糖果，于是我决定去教他们，就这样，学校的操场就成了训练场，教室窗户的玻璃就成了最好的靶子，渐渐地，我就拥有了一群弹弓技术还可以的朋友，每天穿梭于柑子林里，虽然收获甚微，但依旧笑声不断，时间就这样匆匆的流过，短暂的暑假竞又成了回忆，或许唯有教室窗户上的弹洞和满地的玻璃渣子或许还能让我们想起自己还有那么一段故事。又要开学了，可暑假作业还欠一大截，似乎永远都做不完一样，只好无奈地找来笔把自己闷在房子里慢慢地做，而母亲也时不时地出现在门口叉着腰不停地骂，这些对我来说似乎已经是习惯了，就当做是马路上的车子声音又大了一点罢了，通过自己夜以继日的不懈努力，终于画完了。

母亲领着我报名去了，老师们都在抱怨是谁将玻璃打碎的，看着他们愤怒而无奈的眼神，那时的我竟有一丝得意。生活又回到原来的样子，却依旧那样悠闲，每逢周末又会聚在一起，演绎着自己的快乐，而那把弹弓已经渐渐地被我们忘却了，让它静静躺在抽屉里生锈、变老。

An ideal is a vital importance to ones growth and success. On the one hand,

an ideal is the target of ones life. Once you decide what your ideal is, you

know where to go, and which way to take. Otherwise, you might become puzzled in

many things in your life. On the other hand, an ideal is like the engine of

vehicles. Only when we have our own ideals, can we find the origin of energy and

enthusiasm in life, and become active and perseverant. Whatever your ideal is,

careful plan and preparation is vital to its realization. Of course, the path

from where you are to where you want to get is not always smooth and straight.

Therefore, an optimistic, positive mind is indispensable in the process of your

persevering your ideal.

In a word, only if you have an ideal, you will have the chance of realizing

it.

For most western countries, Christmas Day is the biggest festival, and all the people will have the long vacation, just as Spring Festival in China. With the development of globalization, Christmas Day is celebrated by people around the world. When the day comes, Christmas trees can be seen in many shops and some products have the great discounts.

One of the main reasons for people to love Christmas is that they can get the great discounts from some products, which saves them a lot of money. For American people, Christmas Day is the great moment for the families to get together and enjoy the family hour, while for some people they just treat it as the shopping day.

Many children are always looking forward to the winter vacation; This is because during the vacation, children needn’t go to school; They can do everything they like,such as playing, watching TV, traveling, or even sleeping all the day and so on.and when winter vacation come on ,It means that spring festival will come on soon.

I spent the whole day at home nearly every day, I played with my computer .I played computer games and surved the Internet. during the vacation I,I still stayed in touch with my classmates and my friends.I thinked I hasve been a potatoes mouse .

During the spring festival,I visited my relatives ,and I got a lot of red bags.

Even though my vacation wasn’t crazy and exciting, but I really learnt a lot. It was good for relaxing, and I am getting ready for the coming new term now. Good-bye, my winter vacation.
