Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. It falls on the twenty- fifth of December and has the same importance as Chinese New Year to people with English backgrounds. The celebration is for the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the son of God in Christianity. Now days Christmas is no longer only celebrated by the Christians, but by most people from all over the world.

On the twenty- fourth of December everyone gets excited for it’s the day before Christmas which is called Christmas Eve. The children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “Santa Claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” The younger kids actually believe that Santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. Food like short bread and beer are prepared for Santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. Some children put socks and sacks up for the holding of the presents (that their parents put in).

Rise and shine on Christmas morning! The children are always the first ones to wake up, some even do at four. Present wrappers everywhere! They look into their presents with a big smile on their face and oh dear….I hope no one’s disappointed. I feel sorry for anyone that got pink underwear. Children play while dinner is prepared by the adults. The Christmas dinner are usually eaten together by relatives. The tradition of Christmas pudding and roosters are usually eaten with deserts afterwards. The rest of the day is usually games and fun before the good days all come to an end.

12月20——第四个圣诞节前每个人都激动的天被称为圣诞夜。孩子们通常把早睡,并警告说,“圣诞老人只会过来给你一份礼物,如果你是好的。“年轻的孩子们真的相信圣诞老人从烟囱下来他的驯鹿拉的雪橇。食物像短的面包和啤酒是准备圣诞老人时,他来了,不过大多数时候父母就吃。一些孩子把袜子和麻袋的拿着礼物(父母)。

教师可以培育出许多长大能为国家做贡献的人，叫他们知识，讲一些如何与人相处，是他们懂得更多的知识，是一个好学生，长大后的好孩子，有良好的应用前景，许多人都培养成国家有用的人才。

为了执行一个伟大的理想，我应该好好学习科学文化知识，积极思考，善于发现，培育自立自强从小的精神，做什么事都要有耐心，不甘落后，不断确定进取的目标，一个目标的实现，一个新的知识成长过程中的出发点，克服学习上一个又一个困难。凭自己的努力，必须进行伟大的理想。

梦想是什么?在我的心中，梦想是一个十分模糊的概念。既高不可攀，又触手可得。我的梦想，那可是三天三夜也讲不完的。

6岁的航天之梦

在6岁的时候，我抬头看着皎洁的月亮和美丽而渺小的星星，不禁令人浮想联翩。在脑海里突然冒出了一个想法：如果有一天能去月亮那儿看看嫦娥姐姐和玉兔，去星星那儿看看都住着什么与众不同的人。于是我就有了当宇航员的梦想，就去和爷爷说。爷爷笑了笑，摸着我的头说：“你知不知道宇航员不是相当就当的，都是从优秀的空军飞行员中选出来的，是精英中的精英。你想当宇航员，还嫩着呢!”我听了这些，觉得既委屈，又有点道理。渐渐的，就只能放弃我的航天之梦了!

10岁的助人梦

我随着年龄的增长，小时候幼稚的梦想慢慢地改变了，我又有了新的梦想了。每当我在电视中看见了那些没钱去读书的孩子，我就十分地同情他们。如果我有能力去帮助他们的话，那该多好啊!于是我的梦想变成了做一个慈善家。我要凭着自己的能力，去帮助那些没钱读书的孩子，把自己的收入，捐给希望工程。因为我坚信，只要大家慷慨的去帮助那些可怜的孩子，有一天，全中国，不，全世界的孩子一个个都能在校园中读书。

13岁的特种兵梦

我13岁了，思想又变了。现在我的梦想已不是以前那么简单了。自从我看了《我是特种兵》的战斗片后，我想报效祖国，当一名特种队队员，就是特种兵，参加一个独特的影子部队。他们是英雄，是我心目中的偶像，无论任何困难、挫折、失败，甚至牺牲，也阻挡不了特种兵报效祖国的决心。我之所以想当特种兵，就是要像他们一样，忠于祖国，忠于人民，与自己的队友同生共死，实现我的梦想。

也许这只是现在的梦想，但我相信只要我拥有梦想，就有成功的可能;只要我拥有梦想，就会去坚持。从今天起，我要为自己的梦想而拼搏。

"Experience is the best teacher," people say. Indeed, the most important, and sometimes the hardest, lessons we learn in life come from our participation in situations.

For my part, you cant learn everything from a book. And only practice makes you a successful person.

To begin with, first-hand experience is important for a child. When we were children, we learned the fundamental lessons of life solely from experience.

That is to say, parents teach us by experience such as how to walk steadily, how to cope with the adults, and so on and so forth. Secondly, first-hand experience is also important for an adolescent.

At school, we do not learn everything from books, in that few books can teach us successfully how to meet new people and make more friends.

Finally, as we leave adolescence behind and enter adult life, no book can teach us how to fall in love and get married. But experiencing our own triumphs and disasters is really the only way to learn how to live a successful life.

To conclude, knowledge gained both from experience and from books have their respective roles to play in our life.

However, in my view, I think the former one is more important than the latter one.

The most important lessons cant be taught; they have to be experienced.

那么，什么是法律呢？法律就是有国家制定或认可的对社会成员具有普遍约束力并且是以国家强制力保证实施的行为规范。

大千世界，五光十色，社会生活，丰富多彩。优美清洁的校园，书声琅琅；如诗如画的公园，游人如织；欢歌笑语的娱乐场所，气氛祥和；紧张繁忙的机场，有条不紊；川流不息的高速公路，秩序井然......所有这些有序的社会生活，都离不开法律的调节，法律，不仅维护公共秩序，海维护公共安全，正常的经济秩序，制裁违法犯罪等等。

由此可见，法律，已经是有序的社会生活调节时不可缺少的一部分，我们每天都与法作伴，与法同行。

想要与法同行，首先要知道一些法律知识，才能在维护自身利益的时候，成为主动的一方，有效的维护自己的利益。那么你知道我国公民享有的基本权利有哪些么？政治权利和自由、宗教信仰自由、人身自由等等。有权利就有义务，我们要维护国家的统一和团结、依法纳税等等。我们既可以享受权利，又必须要履行义务，才能享受法律，得到法律的保护。我们只有做好分内之事，遵守法律才能快乐的生活。

我们不仅要学好法律，我们还要用好法律。曾有一篇报道说过一个16岁的中学生，因为长期被所谓的学校“老大”勒索，不敢跟家长学校说，终于恼羞成怒，用一把小刀将一个人刺死，这个中学生就这样毁了自己的前途。如果这个中学生能在被勒索时用法律保护自己，也许就不会酿成大错。

作为一个现代中学生，我们既要增强法律观念，自觉的守法护法，又要提高自身道德素质和道德水平，做一个好公民。

我们要在享受权利的同时，也要履行义务，让法律随我们成长。

My dream is to become a doctorEver since I was little, Ive had a secret desire inside of me that Ive been almost ashamed of: I want to be a doctor. I dont know why, and Ive always known its ridiculous, since my worst subjects are math and science. Im not altogether terrible at them, but Im more of a literature person.

Im also pretty lazy, which makes me think theres no way I could survive medical school. Should I make myself stop? Is there any chance of me being somethign Ive always wanted to be?
