这是我们暑假的第二天。我感觉很好。我觉得我是自由的。我有很多时间做我喜欢的事情。我的父母都在中山。所以，我独自生活，但我并不感到孤独。但我没有做一些特别的东西。我住在家里看电视。哦！我写了英语日记作文。这是我的功课。今天，我睡了14小时。我认为我很疲惫。这是去吃晚饭的时间。我必须去！我非常饿。

My father is a nice man.He likes to play computer games.He is an owner of a factory which produces many things .He is good at designing.He works very hard.I love him very much because, sometimes,I can help him to do something in his factory .He is always on business trips because he has his business everywhere so it takes up too much of his time .

Therefore, he doesn’t have any time to play with me butI don’t blame him for that.I often spend a lot of my time on the computer,soI have something to do.My mother is usually on the phone and tells my father to get home early but my father doesn’t listen to her.So my mother andI sometimes are upset andI don’t like my father in a sense that he always gets home late.

I love my father but not his job!

今天下午，我们的虞老师对我们说：“今天啊，我们与五1，五2，五3，五5班举行拔河比赛。”这一句话没什么，可说出来就不得了了，同学们个个跃跃欲试，都想去拔河，给班里拿一个好成绩。

我们来到了宽阔的草坪上，虞老师来选参加比赛的人了，同学们一个个都举起手，就怕自己“落选”了，最后老师选中了我和其他男生，还有的人做拉拉队。虞老师让我们摩拳擦掌，做热身运动。比赛开始了，规则是３局两胜制。第一局我们和五1班比，我们用出了九牛二虎之力，拼命地拉，我们的脸，一个个都憋得通红，汗珠不时地从脸上落下，由于我们有点轻敌，第一局我们输了。可是我们第二局、第三局连扳两局，这一次我们赢了。

之后我们班过五关，斩六将进入了决赛。我们的对手还是五１班，他們好不容易挺過來和我們再次較量。比赛开始了，双方同学脸涨得通红通红的，一滴滴豆大的汗珠从额头上流下来。有的咬緊牙关，有的紧闭双眼，使出吃奶的力气，拼命向后拉，身体向后倾斜，仿佛要一口气把绳子拉过来似的。由于他们是我们预赛的“手下败将”，因为在精神上我们班就有优势，所以第一局我们赢了。但是在后面的几局就不太理想了，我们都输了，以至我们得到了亚军。回了教室，我们班的哭声此起彼伏。遗憾﹑可惜，这两个词来形容我们再合适不过了。

“好了，大家别哭了，虽然这次我们屈居亚军，但是我已经很满足了：一，我们拿到亚军，已完全出乎我的预料。二，我为我们这班有这么好的团结精神感到骄傲。同学们，这次我们虽败犹荣，下次如果再举行比赛的话，我们一定能拿第一，是不是？”老师安慰我们。“是！”我们班的声音回应在校园的每一处。五１班，以后再舉行比賽我們決賽場上見，走着瞧。
