First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them.Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running rowing, to keep me physically strong.

It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time.I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.

我经常想象着，这小鸟是小巧精致，还是略微有点儿豪放？它应该是五彩斑斓，抑或一身黑白相间？也许它是扑扇着多彩的翅膀，尽情展示自己的风采……

每天静静地聆听小鸟歌唱，已经成了我的一种习惯。但有一天，我正等待着鸟儿的呼唤，但久久没有闻到那熟悉的声音。我着急地向窗外望去，在鸟儿常待的地方，依旧没有快乐的音符被传唱。

接下来的几天，我始终听不见鸟儿的歌唱。也许是哪个顽皮的小男孩，拿着弹弓把它伤？还是小鸟生病了呆在家里静养？难道……难道……我真不敢继续往下想。

我默默地坐在窗前，开始虔诚地为那只鸟儿祈祷……

突然，在一个一切尚未开始的早晨，小鸟的歌声又在飘荡，是那么熟悉，那么亲切！我对着那棵鸟儿常待的大树问：“你从哪里来，前段日子又飞向何方？”我感觉到它那友好的微笑了，尽管我依然不能见到它的身影。
