My father was working very hard on his project on protecting the environment. I know the project has come to a very important stage. He and his assistants did not take regular rest for three weeks. Last night, my father had a heart attack and was soon sent to the hospital. The doctor said my father was in a very serious situation, and, he might need an operation.

昨天，我和爸爸发生了一场激烈而有趣的比赛，让我知道了失败是多么重要。

傍晚，我和爸爸妈妈一同来到学校的游泳池，我在游泳池太无聊了，正打算回去，突然，爸爸向我提出了一个挑战——游泳比赛。一听到比赛，我一下子兴奋起来，我曾学过游泳，再加上爸爸很久没有游泳了，准是我赢。于是我爽快地答应了。

第二场比赛，由于刚刚胜利了，心里不免有些沾沾自喜，于是开始骄傲了，满不在乎的往前游，结果爸爸不但是胜出了，还比我快了好几米。我一下子后悔了，于是，为了争取第三轮的比赛，我想出了一个必胜的方法，这场比赛游四个来回，因为我知道，只靠一个来回我是比不上爸爸的，但靠实力，爸爸却比不上我。当我提出了这个比赛时，爸爸犹预了一会儿，竟然答应了。

比赛又开始了，我慢悠悠地向前游，爸爸也似乎知道了这个妙计，也跟着我慢悠悠地游。一个来回，两个来回，爸爸已经上气不接下气了，还时而停下来而我却平平稳稳地继续在前游。当到第三个来回时，爸爸已经沉甸甸的，还大口大口地喘气，我仍然无动于衷地游着，妈妈为我鼓劲，到了最后几米的地方，我使劲一冲，到达了终点，回头一看，爸爸还在离终点十几米的地方，慢腾腾地“游”着。

比赛结束后，爸爸靠在游泳池边，一边抖着他无力的手臂和腿，一边说：“累死我了，累死我了。”我和妈妈看着爸爸狼狈的样子，不禁哈哈大笑起来。
