参加市赛的早上，我和妈妈坐车到了目的地。当时，太阳特别大，天特别热，而且人山人海。我们到了之后赶紧报到，接着就排队去比赛了。因为我是最后一个，等了好久才轮到我，裁判先让我抽图，准备看图说话，再自我介绍。我觉得自己前两个环节表现得挺好的，最后是回答问题，这个环节有点难，四个题中我只答出两个。紧接着裁判宣布结果，我心想：肯定有我！肯定有我！结果，真的有我！我拿了市赛一等奖，进入了省赛。

省赛的准备过程是非常艰难的，又是背台词，又是准备自我介绍，还有模拟考试。仅仅是看图说话环节，一训练就是一上午……

终于迎来了省赛。我怀着紧张的心情走进赛场，里面很安静，选手们都在努力地背词，我也不甘示弱。自我介绍环节，我们都做得非常好，看图说话环节就比较惨了，得知成绩后，我的心情非常低落，爸爸妈妈安慰我，要我别泄气，要我在下午最后一个环节加油，还特意给我复习了几遍演讲内容，我的心情又明朗起来。下午的比赛开始了，轮到我上场了，我站在台上，信心十足地完成了演讲，最后的分数还不错哦！

我的2017年“希望之星”英语风采大赛结束了，虽然我没有踏上国赛舞台，但是我虽败犹荣！这个过程中，我见识到了那些高手们的厉害！我一定要好好学习英语！我一定会回来的！明年再战！

首先，一听要掰手腕，同学们都欢天喜地，男生挥着拳头，女生跃跃欲试。之后，王老师宣布了规则；“每个同学都统一用右手，胳膊肘放在桌子上，不能抬起来，犯规者罚下！”然后，王老师先选出了女生莫淼鑫，我们女生心里想：“莫淼鑫这么胖，肯定赢。”这我们就够高兴的了，没想到王老师竟然选了瘦小的周思言，我们女生高兴死了！男生们有的开始举手表示换下周思言，有的开始纷纷议论，有的开始喊“不公平，不公平……”王老师说：“比一比就知道了。”全班顿时鸦雀无声了。接着，王老师宣布开始，大家都屏住了呼吸。眼看莫淼鑫就要把周思言压倒了，女生们喊声如雷，有的站了起来，有的眼睛一直盯着莫淼鑫，有的喊了起来，恨不得跑到莫淼鑫的耳朵里去。可是只见周思言咬紧牙关，满脸通红，一使劲把莫淼鑫又掰了回去。莫淼鑫很快掰了回来，并松了口气。周思言抓住机会，一掰到底，莫淼鑫的手背挨到桌子上，男生赢了。有人开始嘲笑莫淼鑫，我再看看她，正叉腰喘粗气呢！不管怎么样，我们女生下次一定能赢！胜不骄，败不馁嘛。

I was born in a neither rich and nor poor family, and my parents can give me what I want. But they are strict to me. If I waste food and water, my mother will criticize me. To support the family, my father works very hard and he sacrifices a lot time to make money. So I realize the money comes not easy and won’t waste anything.

我出生在一个普通家庭，既不富裕也不贫穷，我的父母总能为我提供我想要的东西。但是他们对我管得比较严格。如果我浪费食物和水，妈妈就会批评我。为了支撑这个家，爸爸非常努力的工作，他牺牲很多时间来赚钱。所以我知道钱是来得不容易的，不会随意浪费。
