Sun.,Feb. 14 Rainy Spring Festival ,known as the Chinese New Year, is the most important holiday in China.From late January to early February,Chinese people are busy preparing for the New Year.They clean their houses ,have their hair cut,and buy new clothes .Jiaozi or dumpling is most popular.To those who live far away from their home,this festival is also a framily reunion occasion. And they often go back home to celebrate the festival with their family.The first day of the new year is the time when people visit their friends adn wish each other good luck in the new year.

二月十四日 星期日 雨春节，即中国人的新年，是中国最重要的节日。从一月末到二月初人们忙着为新年做准备。他们打扫房屋、理发和买新衣服。饺子是最受欢迎的。对那些远离家乡的人们，春节是一个合家团聚的时刻。他们经常回家和家人欢度春节。新年第一天人们访友并互祝新年好运。

春节是一年中最隆重的一个日子，最盛大的节日。

一到春节，大街小巷人山人海，男女老少脸上挂着灿烂无比的笑容，享受节日的快乐。家家户户都喜气洋洋、张灯结彩，个个精神饱满，当然拉，我们家也不例外哦！

过年，少不了贴“春联”！爷爷让我去买几副春联，我大声读到：“山舞银蛇春光烂漫，原驰骏马节日欢腾。”妈妈对我说：“春联说的都是吉祥话，是人们祈求在新的一年里能过上幸福美满的日子。”

晚上，大伯做了可口的饭菜，边吃边听新年歌曲。大家的欢笑声回荡在客厅里面，饭后，我与凯璇姐一同去看烟花。

好热闹啊！“瞧外面成了烟花的世界。”各种各样的烟花在天空绽放，五颜六色，姹紫嫣红。这时，天空出现了一条条金黄的“彩带”相互交错，升上了天空，绚丽多彩。这烟花是“五谷丰登”，好似描绘了农民伯伯丰收的景象；有的烟花如“天女散花”；有的像宇宙的繁星；有的烟花像在龙飞凤舞......多么像一个空中花园啊！这烟花使人们目不暇接，把整个天空装点得五光十色，五彩缤纷。

过年就使我想到诗人王安石写的《元日》爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏。千门万户曈曈日，总把新桃换旧符。我多么想天天是过年啊。

The day before the Spring Festival is New Years eve, everybody cheerfully stick couplets on the Spring Festival, in front of his home in the kitchen making dumplings, have a meal before you set off firecrackers.
