我说：“为什么？”奶奶说：“屈原是一个大诗人，那时候，秦国要攻打他们国家，他主张联合抗秦，结果皇帝不允许，后来他们国家被打败了，屈原很惭愧，于是他抱着石头跳江了。”我说：“屈原真伟大啊，我们应该纪念他。”

晚上，我和妈妈去街上玩，我看见有卖小猴子、桃树枝等东西。端午节，街上有各种各样的粽子，真好看。

我们回到家里，吃到了粽子，我喜欢粽子，全家人在一起欢欢乐乐的，我们都很开心。

在中国众多的节日里面，我最欣赏的便是端午节了。每当端午节来临，不仅家家户户会包粽子，有些小区或者单位还会会组织大伙儿进行包粽子比赛，很多水乡城市会组织划龙舟比赛，声势浩大，场面壮观。

小的时候，老妈告诉我，每年农历五月初五的端午节起先是为了纪念伟大的爱国诗人屈原的，渐渐的人们就把这一天当成了一个节日。爸爸告诉我，屈原是生活在距今20____多年的楚国，他是个伟大的诗人、爱国者，是个忠心耿耿的大臣。为了老百姓能过上幸福日子，他敢于指出楚王做得不对的地方，因此老百姓都很爱戴他。可是当新国王上台后，他昏庸无度，不听屈原的建议与主张，从而输掉了与秦国的一场重要战役，楚国的国都都被秦国占领，屈原听到这一个消息后，悲痛万分，投汨罗江而死。当地的老百姓怕江中的鱼儿吃掉屈原的遗体，所以向江中投放粽子等食物。当地传说屈原死后，乘着龙舟去了天上。所以后来每年的五月初五端午节上，包粽子、划龙舟就成了重要活动。

在中国，人们十分喜欢过端午节。现在城市里面的人由于工作繁忙，没法自己包粽子过节，就纷纷到各大超市去购买。超市里粽子的种类有很多种，有白米粽子，咸肉粽子，蜜枣粽子等等，花样挺多的。把粽子放在锅里煮熟以后，打开锅盖闻上一闻，满屋子都飘着粽叶的清香，尝上一口，满嘴里都是糯米的香甜，不由得食欲大开，非吃个饱不可。除了吃粽子，人们还可以去观看龙舟比赛。江面上，龙舟前部的龙头高高扬起，活灵活现。整条龙舟又窄又长，前面摆着一张大鼓，后面一个接一个的坐着许多精壮的小伙子，他们随着鼓点声，整齐的划着桨，在水面飞驰着。一时间水花四溅、鼓声、号子声与江岸上观众的加油声此起彼伏，场面宏大壮观，热闹非凡。

我喜欢端午节，不仅仅因为能吃到好吃的粽子，看到精彩的龙舟比赛，更喜欢它的历史内涵，每次过端午节，我总是能想起屈原，想起他峨冠博带、身背长剑，口中吟诵着《离骚》，行走在江湖之间的样子，他的忠诚、坚贞，他的文采，影响着一代一代的中国人。如果把中国的传统节日比作一段贴着宝石的丝绸，那么，端午节就是丝绸上面一颗璀璨的夜明珠。

Were on the 86th floor, and the 86th floor is a sightseeing layer that can get a full view of New York City. Then we went to the met and saw the Egyptian temple, the dunhuang murals, the longyan grottoes and so on

Then we followed the guide to the intrepid America and saw the American space agency NASAs space shuttle.

Finally, we went to times square, but I didnt buy anything I liked.
