The Lantern Festival falls on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month, usually

in February or March in the Gregorian calendar. As early as the Western Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 25), it had become a festival with great significance.

This days important activity is watching lanterns. Throughout the Han

Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), Buddhism flourished in China. One emperor heard that

Buddhist monks would watch sarira, or remains from the cremation of Buddhas

body, and light lanterns to worship Buddha on the 15th day of the 1st lunar

month, so he ordered to light lanterns in the imperial palace and temples to

show respect to Buddha on this day. Later, the Buddhist rite developed into a

grand festival among common people and its influence expanded from the Central

Plains to the whole of China.

Till today, the lantern festival is still held each year around the

country. Lanterns of various shapes and sizes are hung in the streets,

attracting countless visitors. Children will hold self-made or bought lanterns

to stroll with on the streets, extremely excited. "Guessing lantern riddles"is

an essential part of the Festival.

Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the

lanterns. If visitors have solutions to the riddles, they can pull the paper out

and go to the lantern owners to check their answer. If they are right, they will

get a little gift. The activity emerged during peoples enjoyment of lanterns in

the Song Dynasty (960-1279). As riddle guessing is interesting and full of

wisdom, it has become popular among all social strata.

People will eat yuanxiao, or rice dumplings, on this day, so it is also

called the "Yuanxiao Festival."Yuanxiao also has another name, tangyuan. It is

small dumpling balls made of glutinous rice flour with rose petals, sesame, bean

paste, jujube paste, walnut meat, dried fruit, sugar and edible oil as filling.

Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s

more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning

reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the

family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern

dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and

beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent

lanterns, fireworks form a beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks

from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local

governments will even organize a fireworks party. On the night when the first

full moon enters the New Year, people become really intoxicated by the imposing

fireworks and bright moon in the sky.

培养学生自主学习能力，让合作、探究的理念指导自己的教学，以便更有效地提高课堂教学效率，这是新形势下，我们每位教师都必须思索的现实问题。

我根据名师的经验和专家报告的思想去年在初一尝试了“预习――质疑――讨论――反馈”的四环节小组学习方法，也初步培养了学生的质疑、发现问题的能力，但学生自学的习惯还没有很好地养成，更谈不上学习的兴趣了。我们语文学科的博、杂更决定了兴趣、爱好及习惯的重要性。摆在面前的即是作文的老大难问题。以往的作文教学是“老师命题，提出要求，学生思考成文，批改收交”，学生被动接受，对于作文毫无兴趣可言，书写起来更谈不上真情流露，相关的批改反馈的针对性及实效性也较差。如何改变作文课这种被动消极的局面。我思考了好久决定尝试一种小组合作的学习方法，在开学的三周内，先在12班进行了试验，现把初步的思路简单介绍：

周四的作文课，一反常态，先分析上次学生作文的得失，由此定出作文的要求及目标。针对上次对新闻事实的叙述交待不清，而提出“合理交代清记叙的要素，交待清楚一件事”的总体要求。

然后各小组在组长的组织下，讨论拟题并简单说说构思，组长示意，老师计时。

静思独立，老师观察各小组的情况。

成文后，组长示意可以写读书笔记。

统一完成后，合作批改。

第一步：交换找优点，评价闪光点，写出主要内容，概括大意。

第二步：再交换挑毛病，指不足（比如错别字，病句等）。

第三步：本人小声读文，动情优美处，大声的读，后品味反思别人的评价，结合自己的感受，对自己提出中肯的建议。

最后，交流心得。每组推一篇美文大家共赏，由作文负责人根据各小组记分、上交，由老师根据各小组的情况，找出优缺点，并概括不足（共性的东西），思考下一次作文的要求及目标。

经过这样一改动，作文课上，学生以小组为单位全部动起来，全身心地积极投入，每位同学至少读了三篇同类的作文，又听读了六篇美文，不论从听觉、视觉上都能获得很大的收获。相对以往单一、枯燥的形式，学生的积极性大大提高，小组之间的凝聚力、向心力增强。

由于刚刚开始，此方法毕竟有它极多不完善的地方，比如时间的分配，各小组时间的不均衡，小组之间成员能力水平的差异等等，因此，我今后将会更加努力地去探索、完善。

去年的“耶”，今天的“唉”。一张“崭新”的奖状，今天，我们失去了所有的优势，在奖状上抹上了黑色的迹。

梦想的水膜来不及反应就已经破了，只余下几滴水——22分。我们给运动员加油，站在隔离线上，跑道上，可是没用，因为运动员们已经没有了实力。

Dear Sir,

I am writing to apply for a British Council scholarship to study in Britain. I did my five years basic training in medicine at Shanghai University. After this I successfully completed a one-year postgraduate course in Ophthalmology at the Peoples General Hospital, where I am at present serving a two-year probation in the Eye Clinic.

As a result of the publication in 2003 of my article in New Scientist entitled "Soft and Rigid Contact Lenses ", which was based on a survey of 37 patients over 6 months, I made contact with Dr. Li Ming of the Capital Hospital and Dr. Ma Li of the University College Hospital. I have received their help and advice with my current research project, which is a two-year survey of the acceptance of various types of contact lenses in 200 patients.

Despite their help, I feel that I cannot make real progress in this field unless I can actually have day-to-day contact with these specialists. I would therefore like to continue my research at either the Capital Hospital or the UCH as soon as my probationary period here is completed, and I would like to study in Britain for two years.

I enclose a detailed curriculum vitae and an offprint of my article, together with two letters of recommendation from Dr. Li Ming and Dr. Ma Li.

My happy Spring Festival After the New Year’s Eve dinner with my family, we began to sit down in front of the TV, and enjoyed 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala. At about ten o’clock, the black sky was lightened by lots of fireworks with colorful light and happy sound. We stop watching the CCTV 2008 CCTV Spring Festival gala, and began to climb up the balcony to see the beautiful fireworks view, and my father took some fireworks up, and we also began to play fireworks. What a beautiful night. Later, my cell phone was ringing all the time. I received lots of short messages from my friends and classmates. They all blessed me happy New Year. I gave same bless to them by sending back the happy words. At almost 12 pm, I made a wish in New Year, and began to sleep.

When I woke up in the first day of New Year, my father and mother gave two red packets to me, and blessed me that everything will go well on me. I thanked them, and accepted the red packets happily. I have been waiting for the day that I can get lots of red packets. This is my happiest time of the year. After lunch, both my family went to the park, the streets, and the shops or supermarkets. We took many photos in the park, and bought many things in the shops or supermarket.

I met my uncles and aunts, they all blessed us happy New Year and gave me red packets. I was too happy to count how many red packets I got. The following days, we visited my grandparents and some of relatives. We happily talk with them, and brought some presents to them, and also received some New Year presents. 考试后，我最关心的莫过于各门课的成绩了，可成绩并不是怎么样，语文84、数学97、英语99。其实分数不过是对我们这一个学期的一个评价，考完后并不应该盯着他，而是要明白失分的原因并及时弥补这一阶段的不足。学习的过程，就是解决问题的过程，成绩不理想的背后，是问题的暴露。我们必须总结失败的原因，采取措施，加以补救，才能在以后的期末考中创造辉煌。

这次考试成绩不理想的原因总结如下：

1、平时未养成认真的习惯，马马虎虎，粗心大意，导致一些题目被扣分。

2、 准备不充分。毛主席说，不打无准备之仗。言外之意就是没准备过得是很难做好，我却未按这句至理名言行事，导致这次考试吃了亏。

失败了怎么办，认真反思是首先的：

第一：这次失败的原因是什么？要认真思考，挖掘原因。

第二：确定自己的目标，不能因为失败而不甘心，要正确衡量自己。

第三：制定计划，明确自己想要的，失败不可怕，可怕的是盲目的追求。

第四：吃一蜇，长一智。应该做一个学习的强者，不然下一次又将名落孙山。

综上，我决定：

平时锻炼自己，把学习放在中心地位并做好充分准备，打一场悲壮彻底、当之无愧的战斗。我要再接再厉、继续努力，俗话说得好：无志之人长立志，有志之人立长志。

篇二：期中考后的反思

期中考后，我有一个好消息和一个坏消息。好消息就是语文考了98分，坏消息就是数学考了85分。我恨不得将语文的6分给数学，这样数学和语文的分数就全部都是90分以上了，可是，事实是无情的，不管我怎么抱怨，不管我怎么希望，也还是不能把85分变成90分。

这次期中考，我的数学成绩为什么考得不好呢？是因为我生病请假吗？不对，我根本就没有生病。原来是我上课没有认真听，老走神，再加上回到家里又没有认真做作业，所以，我的数学成绩老上不去。

今后，我一定要在上课认真听老师讲课，改进学习方法，克服粗心大意的缺点，做一个人人都喜爱的好学生。

令人紧张的期中考试结束了，考试的失败与成功还是一个未解之谜，可是，当考完最后一门功课时，老师简短的几句话却成了我们心情的晴天霹雳，使一下子松弛下来的我们像打了霜的茄子_蔫儿了！

今年的期中考试题非常简单，但老师说过：“考试题越简单越是会错题连篇。”因此，我们都不敢轻视这次考试。但是，最终简单的考试题把我们征服了，使快速答完题的我们闲下来，并且认为：“这么简单的考试题，一定不会错误百出”有了这个念头，我们便不去仔细检查，而是飞快的游览着卷面，任凭让错题在那里摆着，即使特别显眼，我们也无法发现它，更不会去将它们改一下，就这样我们交了卷儿，考后家长问：“考得怎么样？”我们一律回答说：“可以的。”

可是，老师给我们判卷，告诉我们卷子的一、二、三、四题丢分儿丢得很多，这下我心里也没底了，因为我平时老也写错字，而且还有一个给“高”字加部首组成新字的题不会，平时还不注意留心这种类型题，使这次考试造成了无法弥补的失误！

唉！考试已经过去，考试的过失也无法弥补了，只能今后注意、并改正。以后，我会多积累形近字、给字加部首组成新字等类型题。我要多积累错题，分析错题原因，对比正确答案，使我更好掌握丰富的语文基础知识，活学活用。

考试题是多变的，我们不但要积累，还要灵活运用，这样我们才能对考试题应对自如。

期中考试的反思

这次考试之所以没有考好，总结原因如下：

1 平时没有养成细致认真的习惯，考试的时候答题粗心大意、马马虎虎，导致很多题目会做却被扣分甚至没有做对。

2 准备不充分。毛主席说，不打无准备之仗。言外之意，无准备之仗很难打赢，我却没有按照这句至理名言行事，导致这次考试吃了亏。

3 没有解决好兴趣与课程学习的矛盾。自己有很多兴趣，作为一个人，一个完整的人，一个明白的人，当然不应该同机器一样，让自己的兴趣被平白无故抹煞，那样不仅悲惨而且无知，但是，如果因为自己的兴趣严重耽搁了学习就不好了，不仅不好，有时候真的是得不偿失。

失败了怎么办？认真反思是首先的：

第一，这次失败的原因是什么？要认真思考，挖掘根本的原因；

第二，你接下来要干什么？确定自己的目标，不要因为失败不甘心接着走，而是要正确地衡量自己。看看想要什么，自己的优势在什么地方，弱势是什么；

第三，确定目标。明确自己想要的，制定计划，按部就班的走。

失败不可怕，可怕的是一蹶不振以及盲目的追求。

数学是必考科目之一，故从初一开始就要认真地学习数学。那么，怎样才能学好数学呢？现介绍几种方法以供参考：

一、课内重视听讲，课后及时复习。

新知识的接受，数学能力的培养主要在课堂上进行，所以要特点重视课内的学习效率，寻求正确的学习方法。上课时要紧跟老师的思路，积极展开思维预测下面的步骤，比较自己的解题思路与教师所讲有哪些不同。特别要抓住基础知识和基本技能的学习，课后要及时复习不留疑点。首先要在做各种习题之前将老师所讲的知识点回忆一遍，正确掌握各类公式的推理过程，庆尽量回忆而不采用不清楚立即翻书之举。认真独立完成作业，勤于思考，从某种意义上讲，应不造成不懂即问的学习作风，对于有些题目由于自己的思路不清，一时难以解出，应让自己冷静下来认真分析题目，尽量自己解决。在每个阶段的学习中要进行整理和归纳总结，把知识的点、线、面结合起来交织成知识网络，纳入自己的知识体系。

二、适当多做题，养成良好的解题习惯。

要想学好数学，多做题目是难免的，熟悉掌握各种题型的解题思路。刚开始要从基础题入手，以课本上的习题为准，反复练习打好基础，再找一些课外的习题，以帮助开拓思路，提高自己的分析、解决能力，掌握一般的解题规律。对于一些易错题，可备有错题集，写出自己的解题思路和正确的解题过程两者一起比较找出自己的错误所在，以便及时更正。在平时要养成良好的解题习惯。让自己的精力高度集中，使大脑兴奋，思维敏捷，能够进入最佳状态，在考试中能运用自如。实践证明：越到关键时候，你所表现的解题习惯与平时练习无异。如果平时解题时随便、粗心、大意等，往往在大考中充分暴露，故在平时养成良好的解题习惯是非常重要的。

三、调整心态，正确对待考试。

首先，应把主要精力放在基础知识、基本技能、基本方法这三个方面上，因为每次考试占绝大部分的也是基础性的题目，而对于那些难题及综合性较强的题目作为调剂，认真思考，尽量让自己理出头绪，做完题后要总结归纳。调整好自己的心态，使自己在任何时候镇静，思路有条不紊，克服浮躁的情绪。特别是对自己要有信心，永远鼓励自己，除了自己，谁也不能把我打倒，要有自己不垮，谁也不能打垮我的自豪感。

在考试前要做好准备，练练常规题，把自己的思路展开，切忌考前去在保证正确率的前提下提高解题速度。对于一些容易的基础题要有十二分把握拿全分；对于一些难题，也要尽量拿分，考试中要学会尝试得分，使自己的水平正常甚至超常发挥。

由此可见，要把数学学好就得找到适合自己的学习方法，了解数学学科的特点，使自己进入数学的广阔天地中去。

平时锻炼自己，强迫自己养成细致认真的习惯；把课堂学习放在学习的中心地位，并学有余力地积极发展兴趣爱好；考试前做好充分准备，打一场酣畅淋漓、悲壮彻底、问心无愧的战役

期中考后

我在班上，可说是数一数二的好学生，唯一的竞争对手叫张妮。她很完美，然而这次期中考，我又发挥失常。因而考的远不如她好。

我心中不断反思：我的其他科考不过她，我心里还勉强算得过去。可是……语文，我最优秀的门科……竟还是没有赢她！班上只有三个人上90。而我，差0.5，就上90了。最令我大受刺激的是，这次作文，我只有34分！低！有史以来的低！我心中百感交加，欲哭无泪。脸上的表情显然已经无法表现出心情。我不明白，为何我会考差。我问老师，而老师说，我写的太单调，没有人物神态外貌描写。

我顿时想起，平时我在写长篇小说。已经习惯了写小说的手法。然而小说与作文是两种截然不同的文章。

而妮这次，考过了我，虽然只高了1.5分，但我心里还是不高兴。

我回到家，放下书包，泄气地靠在沙发上。

爸爸看我这颓丧的样子，便知道了我考不好，他问了几句：“张妮考得怎么样？”

我漫不经心地说：“比我高一点五分。”

爸爸笑笑地问，“为什么呢？你的作文卷不如她好吗？”

我有点不太高兴，觉得十分可惜：“我作文写的方式错了，我最近写小说写惯了，现在突然写作文，就写差了。这是我的一次失误。”

爸爸又笑笑地说：“那为什么张妮就很少失误呢？”爸爸说的小心翼翼，生怕伤害到了我。我突然想，为什么张妮就很少失误呢？原来并不是单方面的问题。因为张妮本身就是个成绩稳定的人，而这点，又是我无法赶上她的。我突然想，其实，面对每次的失误，我不应该垂头丧气。而应该勇往直前，针对错误的地方加强练，从而达到下次不再失误的保障。我的垂头丧气，已经成为了一个错误的想法，如果知道如今会考不好，为何当初又不努力呢？与其不停的伤心，不如一跃而起，来一次鲤鱼跃龙门，发奋图强。这样才能真正的解决根本问题。

爸爸说的没错，一次的挫折，就是对我的一次教育。人要经历许多的挫折。才能成为真正有成就的人。而不是一路顺风，那样的人不算成功，只是懂得利用好运而已。真正成功的人，不但会利用好运，还会在倒霉的情况下一跃而起。

我的暑假很快就要到来了，我开始为我的暑假指定了一些计划。我每年都去旅行，这一次，我想要去西藏旅游，那也是我一直想要去的地方。我经常听到有关西藏的事情，我妈妈的朋友告诉我很多关于那里的美好事情，所以我想要去西藏。这个夏天我将要去西藏。

下午，随着上课铃响，同学们陆续走进教室，英语老师也捧着试卷慢慢的走进教室。老师站在讲台上严肃地说：“今天我们考试，请大家准备好考试用的东西。”我一听，呆呆地坐在那，想“唉，竟然是英语考试，这可是我最怕的事情，啊，真是悲剧啊！”想完，只见老师发下试卷，说：“现在开始考试。”唉，只能写了。于是，我硬着头皮，乱写一通。

咦？这个怎么写呀！于是我想呀，想呀……忽然，我觉得试卷正面好像有这道题目，于是，我把试卷翻过来，看了一下，果然有这道题目，然后，我把填的答案抄过来，这样，这道题目就做完了。

过了半个小时，我的试卷做完了，看了看时间，快要下课了，于是我检查了一遍。过了一分钟，下课铃响了，我把试卷交了上去，静静的离开了教室。
