I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations, but this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school and this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. 她是个很美的老师，有一种古典美女的气质。记得我刚进安外的时候，第一次离开家去外面读书，刚开学军训的时候，阎老师总是对我慈爱的微笑，她总是担心我们这群孩子军训累了，热了，时常跟着我们军训的列队，教官下命令休息时，我一个孤零零地坐在草地上，阎老师和教官聊天，然后我听到他们的交谈，阎老师对教官说我很像她之前认识的一个孩子，然后就朝我笑笑，当时心里说不出的暖，也许阎老师不曾记得，但我至今难忘。

因为我的小学不学英语，所以我的英语底子不好，进入安外有点跟不上，阎老师就放弃中午休息的时间给我补习，从最基础的教起，不耐烦的一遍又一遍，我清晰的记得当时办公室里就是我和阎老师，她就坐在我身边教我，当我一个知识点了解的时候，她就满足的笑笑，然后摸摸我的脑袋，那种近似母爱的感情让我至今心里充满温暖。

当然，阎老师凶的时候还真的很可怕（阎老师，得罪啦，呵呵）记得那时我和一个男生和另外两个一个女生负责早上扫楼梯，我和另外一个男生刘涛总是早早过来打扫，等到女生来的时候我们都已经打扫好了。我们心里很不平衡，所以，有一天早上我和刘涛都没扫，等女生扫，最后女生以为我们已经扫好了，也没有打扫。最后，阎老师发现楼梯很脏，就让我们值日生出去扫地，两个女生和刘涛都出去扫地了，就是我坐在座位上读书，因为我平时做的最多，心里很不平衡，所以有点火大就没去。阎老师最后知道我也是当天的值日生而没有出去一起扫地，就很气愤的直接在班里很多人面前发我的火，还把我叫到她办公室谈话，她很凶地问我为什么不和他们一起扫地，我心里很委屈，就说之前几乎都是我一个在扫地，两个女生几乎都没扫过，我的心里不平衡就没出去扫地。说话的时候，眼泪都是含着的，因为确实觉得很委屈。阎老师就对我说，老师一直很看重你，觉得你身上有一股正气，当她说到这里的时候，我哽咽的难受，心里更难受。然后又说“吃亏是福”我知道她对我的要求远远胜过其他人，我也不忍心让她失望，所以很努力地做人，很努力地做事。

还记得她的一句话对我影响很大“今日事，今日毕！”这么多年来，我一直谨记这句话，可以说这句话已经渗透到了我的生活，今天的脏衣服，我也从来不留到明天洗，呵呵，有点傻哦。

After school, I head to the supermarket which is not far from my home. Yes, you are right! I intend to cook a simple meal for my mother. It takes me an hour and a half to cook two dishes and a soup. It is not until my mom comes back that I finish my cooking. There is a sweet smile on her face. At that moment, there’s nothing could be better than her smile. Everything I do is worthy. With an air of warmth, I say, Mom, Happy Womens Day. Then she smiles.

I’m a student of a university. I’m short and thin with thick glasses. I usually go to the library on weekday afternoons. I always read in the library from morning till night on Saturdays and Sundays.

There are fifteen reading rooms in the library. I like reading in the No.15 Reading Room. It is on the fifth floor. The reading room is clean and tidy. It is small but quiet. The librarian is an old woman. She is very kind to me.

One Sunday morning I saw a girl standing there when I came into the No.15 Reading Room.

She gave me a book. I was very surprised. The book which I wanted to read was in my hand! “The old librarian and I live in the same building,” said the girl. “And your teacher, Professor Li, lives next to me.
