All over the world people enjoy sports. Sports help to keep people healthy and happy, and to live longer.

Sports change with the seasons. People play different games in winter and summer. Swimming is fun in warm weather, but skating is good in winter.

Some sports are so interesting that people everywhere go in for them. Football, for example, has spread around the world. Swimming is popular in all countries near the sea or in those with many rivers. Some sports or games go back thousands of years, like running or jumping. Chinese wushu, for example, has a very long history. But basketball and volleyball are rather new. People are inventing new sports or games all the time. 时间就这样在我的焦灼等待中一分一秒的过去了。妈妈终于回来了，我迫不及待得向妈妈炫耀……开饭喽！我抢先打开盖子，一股浓郁的奶香味夹杂地黄瓜的淡淡清香味扑鼻而来。啊！可是眼前并不是我想象的让人惊喜的画面，只见电饭锅里而是一片狼藉，惨不忍睹，米饭表面凹凸不平，紫菜东一坨，西一坨，摆好的黄瓜造型也“面目全非”，最让人想不到锅底是一层厚厚的糊锅巴。妈妈见状，并没有说什么，她笑着从我手中将碗拿了过去，将相对软一点的饭盛到我碗里，而她自己则啃着那些锅巴。看到这一幕，我的心里酸酸的，内疚极了。

通过这件事，我明白了有些事情并不是我们想象中的那样，生活中的许多经验都是通过实践得来的呀。不过，要是没有那天我异想天开的创意实验，暑假生活岂不是少了一次有趣的回忆？

对我初中生涯影响很大的老师就是阎丽老师，她的姓很恐怖，她总是自称自己是阎罗王，要管住我们这群小鬼。

她是个很美的老师，有一种古典美女的气质。记得我刚进安外的时候，第一次离开家去外面读书，刚开学军训的时候，阎老师总是对我慈爱的微笑，她总是担心我们这群孩子军训累了，热了，时常跟着我们军训的列队，教官下命令休息时，我一个孤零零地坐在草地上，阎老师和教官聊天，然后我听到他们的交谈，阎老师对教官说我很像她之前认识的一个孩子，然后就朝我笑笑，当时心里说不出的暖，也许阎老师不曾记得，但我至今难忘。
