矮小的平房变成了高大的楼房，让人们有了安居乐业的生活；路边的野花野草变成了浓郁的花儿；脆弱的小树苗变成了坚强的参天大树；浑浊的污水变成了清清的小河，鱼儿也高兴了许多，高兴它地生活环境变好了；随手搭建的小木桥变成了宏伟的拱桥；泥泞的古道变成了平敞的公路，让人们行驶方便……所有万物都异口同声：“生活变的真美好呀！”也一起齐刷刷的笑了。

这些年，不仅这儿的景象变了，连人们也变了。以前人们总是忙忙碌碌的在田间劳作，现在人们有了工作，变得高高兴兴地，每天都不停地哼着歌；以前人们总是在烛光下，在破旧的草屋里学习，现在人们都在灯光下，在崭新的教学楼里学习；以前人们总是往河里倒垃圾，污染了像镜子一样净的湖水，现在素质也好了，人们每时每刻都珍惜着水、保护着水，因为水对人体非常重要；以前人们总是走在弯曲的古道上，很艰难的走着，现在人们走在平敞的公路上，不再艰难了。

这些年，不仅人和景象变了，而且动物和植物也变好了。清洁工每天都会给小草和小花“洗一次澡”，主人都会给小狗和小猫买漂亮的新衣服，它们都变得高高兴兴、开开心心地，生活充满了无限的光彩。

在家人印象中，成都府南河的水很脏、河岸边都稀稀落落的散落着低矮的民房；二环路边就是农村；公交车极不发达；春熙路早晚都摆地摊；只有武侯饲、杜甫草堂还有望江楼景，还能吸引不少的游客。

几年过去，成都发生了翻天覆地的变化，(.)贯穿城市中心的府南河成了城市一道亮丽的风景，河水一年比一年清澈；那些曾经低矮的民房不见了，取而代之的是宽阔的林荫道和耸立的高楼；三环和外环建成后，二环路成了市中心，公交车四通八达，从城北到城南，一个小时，只要一元钱，地铁也正在建设中；休闲的地方越来越多，外地人来成都都不再仅仅去上面三个旅游景点了，而是选择游成都，看川剧变脸、喝盖碗茶、逛锦里、吃火锅川菜、玩农家乐。春熙路摇身一变，成了时尚的代名词，比上海的南京路和北京的王府井更有不一样的魅力。

它不仅仅只是一条街，而是一个购物休闲圈，春熙路、红星路、总府路、华兴街，他们构成了一个娱乐、休闲、购物的百老汇。

热闹的春熙路是购物的天堂，特步、李宁，时尚装备应有尽有；春熙路往东，走到尽头，在太平洋和王府井间架起的一座美丽的人行天桥，你上阶梯，走在玻璃桥上，可以俯视春熙全景，下面就是横贯东西的蜀都大道中

心地带_总府路，这里充满着流行、时尚、休闲和前卫。我们走到天桥的对面，穿过商业场，去到王府井的背后，你可以看到另外一个成都，老式的瓦房和小馆子，混沌、米线、烧菜、火锅、川菜应有尽有，既便宜，又有特色。

With the rapid development of the society, many things around our life are changed. Personally speaking, my hometown has changed a lot.

When I was a child, there was only one black and white TV set in our village. And I don’t know what’s computer. I often went to school on foot. What’s more, in summer, we had to use hand-made fans to make our temperature down. If I wanted to connect with the distant friends or relatives,  the most convenient way is writing letters, which may lost on the way or take a lot of time to reach the destination.

However, nowadays, there are four color televisons in my home and most people have their own computers. And now cars are seen everywhere. In addition, most houses have airconditioning, which can cool the whole house quickly. With the development of cell phone, people can reach each other in a second. They can talk or see each other through cell phone.

As time passes, my hometown has change a lot thanks to the social development. I believe there will be much more changes in the future.

I live in a city, since I was small, I witnessed all the things happened in this city. Now, in my eyes, after so many years, the city has changed so much. First, the transportation has become fluent.

Many years ago, there were less bus stations, people always needed to changed their lines by many cars.

But now, almost all the places can be reached by bus, people don’t need to change the line. Second, the buildings are enlarging, this reflects the city’s economy develops fast.

Indeed, I can go to many newly built public places to have fun, some are for children, some are for the old, all of these are good for people’s communication. The city’s change reflects people keep pace with time.

What’s more, we should realize that only from our planet can we obtain our sheltering, food, cloth and so forth.

Over the past years, floods, droughts, landslides, and dust-storms have frequented our planet, the only habitat of human beings. Several days ago, tsunami(海啸) has swept the Southeast Asia, which has caused enormous damage. All these have sounded an alarm to human beings.

The destruction which is caused by human beings has aroused people’s concern all over the world. If we pay no heed to the present destructive human activities, our planet will become of tomb instead of cozy home. What’s more, we should realize that only from our planet can we obtain our sheltering, food, cloth and so forth.

Counter-measures must be taken to curb the destruction caused by human beings. Most importantly, laws must be established to punish those who are involved in destructive conducts.
