一个多小时后，我们来到了停车场。下车以后觉得很冷，我们就去租了一件棉衣，开始爬山了。一路上崎岖难行，我才爬了一会儿就觉得累了，还好山路两旁绿树成荫，不时还有阵阵山风，景色不错。费了九牛二虎之力，我坚持来到索道站，排队上缆车，这缆车特别大，可以乘上101人，因为到处大雾，四周什么也看不见，缆车像飞机在空中飞行一样，只用三四分钟我们就到达了山顶。

来到金顶，山顶的雾基本上散去了。前方竖立着一尊雄伟美丽的四面佛雕像，佛的下面站着四头大象，佛头分上中下三层，一共十个，据导游讲，这是世界上海拔最高的佛像，是用铜制造的，表面是用金箔贴上去的，佛像高约48米，重达约六百多吨。为明万历三十年妙峰禅师请西蜀藩王潞安捐造的，屋顶檐瓦馏金，在阳光映照之下，金光闪闪，固名“金顶”。“金顶铜殿”非常雄伟、壮观，我们一边参观，一边拍照。一会，我们又来到了峨眉山的最高峰，“一览众山小，会当凌绝顶，”站在那儿，看到脚下的群山都变小了，我突然觉得自己非常了不起!山下都是悬崖峭壁，一眼望不到底，底下群山连绵在迷雾中若隐若现，真是一幅人间仙境啊!
