你们好！2008年5月12日14时28分，你们那里发生了7.8级地震。这次地震波及到了全国很多地方，也让很多人事后心有余悸。我们从电视上知道，截至5月13日12时，此次地震已造成206人死亡，2179人受伤；紧急转移群众2.11万人；倒塌房屋32411间(孔)，出现裂缝等受损房屋101702间(孔)；受损学校247所；死亡大小牲畜25190头(只)。其中受灾最为严重的陇南市有173人死亡，2027人受伤;道路塌方4处。部分地方出现山体滑坡，灾情严重的地方供水、供电、通信等一度中断。我辗转反侧，脑海里总是浮现你们在废墟中寻找自己的课本，朝废墟里喊着亲人们的名字，在废墟里默默地站着，呆呆地看着被地震震垮的家，被地震摧毁的校园。你们一双双无辜的眼睛，或悲伤，或无助，我的眼睛模糊了，从来没有这样难受过。但是，亲爱的朋友，我要对你们说，你们要坚强，要振作呀！静下来想一想！古往今来，人类曾遭受过多少磨难啊！不是吗？多少次雪灾，多少次洪水泛滥，多少次火灾，将成千上万的人民抛进痛苦的深渊，然而，人们凭着互相救助，互相支援，克服了困难，重建了家园。

是啊！亲爱的朋友，地震无情人有情，一方有难，八方支援。7.8级超强地震给灾区人民带来不可估量的损失，社会各界和热心人士都非常牵挂，纷纷行动起来，踊跃捐款捐物。他们当中有白发苍苍的老爷爷、老奶奶，有抱在手里的小弟弟、小妹妹，有港、澳、台胞和海外侨胞，还有心里装满爱心的叔叔阿姨。在废墟上，工人叔叔们夜以继日地为你们重建家园、抢修校园而忘我劳动。我深信，不久，你们就会重新拥有温暖的家和美丽的校园。我班的同学们毅然表示：节衣缩食也要省出点钱出来，帮助灾区的人民顺利度过难关！虽然这次我们募捐刚刚开始，资金不多，捐赠的衣物有限，但却代表了我们真诚的心意！希望我们用奉献、友爱、互助、进步的精神，用我们每一个同学的实际行动，为灾区的父老乡亲们提供一些力所能及的帮助；同时，我们也将自己几年来存的零花钱，通过班主任寄给你们，为你们重建家园尽一份绵薄之力。也希望你们能够早日从灾害中振作起来，积极进行生产自救和恢复工作、学习，在各级党组织的领导下，依靠我们自己勤劳的双手，重建我们美好的家园！
