My Chinese New Year for this year was fantastic!

I went to Hai Nan with my parents during the Chinese New Year and visited my relatives over there. The weather over there was beautiful. It was so much warmer than my city. We stayed in a hotel and we spent a lot of time on the beaches. My parents also took me for a ride round the island. It was so much fun and I wish it was longer.

I have been waiting for the day that I can get lots of red packets. This is my happiest time of the year. After lunch, both my family went to the park, the streets, and the shops or supermarkets. I met my uncles and aunts, they all blessed us happy New Year and gave me red packets. I was too happy to count how many red packets I got. The following days, we visited my grandparents and some of relatives. We happily talk with them, and brought some presents to them, and also received some New Year presents. This morning i went to the english corner which is in the park near my home. it is three years since it was founded.

Many middle school students as well as college students and foreigners take part in the activity. people there practice speaking english by talking about something interesting. people also exchange the experience in english learning. i think it is a good chance for me to use what i have learnt in my english class. i felt very cool after i got back home.

Today, I hiked on a trail in Arches national Park. It was the longest trail I ever hiked on. It was a rocky and dangerous mountain. I was extra exhausted. When I was at the top, WOW! It was an arch called Delicate Arch. It looks like Athena looking over everybody’s eyes to see if they are obeying rules. How can a loose little arch stand so high. So today was a miracle.

August 7,2014 Friday Today, I did housework for grandmother. She is not

very healthy and I decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will
