山羊公公的生日到了，动物们纷纷给他祝贺：小猫花花带来了一个小铃铛；小鸡叽叽送来了一段彩带；小猪胖胖亲手扎了几个红灯笼；小狗汪汪也拿来了一把五颜六色的蜡烛。

小动物们都到齐了，可欢欢还没来，大家都很着急，不时地对着门前小路张望，可就是不见欢欢的影子。生日会就要开始了，才见欢欢气喘吁吁地跑来，手里只拎着一个小小的蛋糕，裤子上还有点泥巴。大家一看愣住了。欢欢眼泪汪汪的，他红着脸把小小的蛋糕递给了山羊公公。大家问他为什么现在才到，他把事情的经过告诉了大家。

原来，欢欢早上边走边吃香蕉，走到半路才发现忘了拿蛋糕，他赶紧回家拿了蛋糕，就急急忙忙往山羊公公家跑，跑着走跑着，一不小心踩到香蕉皮滑到了，蛋糕掉在地上摔了个稀烂。欢欢顾不上疼痛，他赶紧跑回家，用剩下的材料做了一个小小的蛋糕。在急匆匆赶来的路上，他还把自己原先扔的香蕉皮捡起来，丢在垃圾箱里。

山羊公公心疼得把他搂在怀里，为他擦掉眼泪，夸他是个好孩子；小伙伴们赶紧给他擦掉裤子上的泥巴。小猴欢欢破涕为笑了。
