我的学校是株洲世纪星实验学校，学校座落在美丽的云阳山脚下。正值金秋时节，丹桂飘香，校园浸润在桂花的香气里，令人神清气爽。如此优雅的环境，真是我们读书的好地方。

清晨，当小鸟轻轻掠过我们的窗前，我们也从甜美的梦乡里醒来。迎着初升的太阳，开始做早操。小草嫩嫩的叶片上挂着晶莹的露珠，小鸟唱着动听的歌儿，又将和我们一起开始新的一天。

吃完早餐，大家一起搞卫生，把校园打扫得干干净净。上课铃声一响，同学们走进宽敞明亮的教室，不一会儿，朗朗的读书声便充满整个校园，那是最美的跳荡着的音符！

Recently, violence frequently occurred in schools, and in serious cases killing was involved. All those cases pose threat towards students security and exert tremendous influence on their growing.

It s high time that we took drastic measures to solve the problem. Provided school take corresponding measures, the chances of crime would be reduced. First of all, equipments such as electronic monitors or waning alarms should be installed on campus to prevent potential crimes. Secondly, security patrols should be arranged. Last but not least, security awareness should be promoted. Once encountering a suspicious man on campus, students or faulty members need to tell the campus guard immediately. School security cannot be guaranteed if we rely solely on school administration, which, of course, is supposed to play an active role in safeguarding.

Unity is strength. Both city residents and the community should make joint efforts to fight against the crime.

Since I was very small, I was very shy in the public place, so I always

avoided giving performance in front of so many people. Though I tried hard to

get over it in school, I still felt uneasy in the public place. When I came to

the job market, I realized that I must get over my fear, or I would lose my

stage.

I still remembered the horrible experience for my first interview. Early in

the morning, I got a called that I was given a chance to the job interview. I

felt so excited. When I came to the company, I found there were other six young

people competed with me, then I started to feel nervous. The employers asked us

to sit in the round table and introduced ourselves one by one. When it was my

turn, I lowed down my head and spoke in low voice. Then the employers continued

to let us give speeches in the stage. I lose confidence and made the horrible

performance.

This interview taught me a lesson that I must get over my fear, or I will

I am at present a student at Mary High School, Hong Kong, where I have been studying for the past five years. I passed the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination last year with distinctions in English and History, and credits in Economics and English Literature. My advanced-level subjects are History, Economics and English Literature. 以前都是现成饺子，可现在是自己亲手包的，我们准备的材料有：和好的面、饺子馅、面粉、擀面杖、面板等，对了！你们知道今天是什么日子吗？今天是冬至日，我太高兴了。

包饺子开始了，大家有的揉面，有的切面团，有的擀面皮……大家忙得不亦乐乎。我要自己包了，老师告诉我们程序：先揉面，再搓成长条，然后切成小面快，再摁成小面饼，擀成面片，然后包饺子。过了一会，我叫道：“太难了！”之前还可以的，可是擀的时候，擀不圆，又粘手，结果破了，还得重新再擀皮。再次包的的时候，馅儿太多，捏左边，馅从右边出来了，捏右边，结果馅儿从左边出来了。怎么办呢？我心里气急了，真不想再包了。可是老师告诉我：“只要去掉一点馅儿不就包好了！”这时我听了，心情立刻变好了。我看了看老师，老师妈包的饺子像弯弯的月牙，可是我包的饺子却像打了败仗一样。后来在老师的指导下，我包的饺子越来越好了，还包了好几个漂亮的饺子！

十五分钟后，饺子煮好了，真香！我看着香喷喷的饺子，真想一口吃掉！这个饺子课可真是有趣啊！

Last week, my cousin was back at home from his trip. He had been away for

more than a month and he was a backpacker. I felt so envious, because he could

live the life he wanted. I listened to him and was so attractive by the scenery

he saw. The people he met also caught my attention. I made up my mind. When I

earned money in the future, I would do the things as my cousin do now. So the

first thing for me was to be more independent. I should learn to do the things

by myself, such as cleaned my own stuff instead of asking my mother to wash.

Secondly, I needed to study hard, so as to find a good job. I needed money to

看完了操场，我们就去看看我们的教室吧。我们先来到了思齐楼，它位于操场的西南角，绕过大厅，然后一直向里走，就来到了四（4）班，我们的教室宽敞明亮，我们这个班有79名同学，9位老师。

学校的楼房高耸入云，完全是钢架玻璃木结构。每层都有电梯，电梯速度非常快，一秒钟上一层。

楼房最上层是太空仓，能自动转，能全方位观察外部世界。太空仓里是体育馆，里面有篮球场、乒乓球场、足球场，能进行各种体育活动。

中间是图书馆、阅览室。图书馆里有不计其数的各种书籍；阅览室资料齐全；还有国际语言室，你想学什么语言就刷卡，能听到你想学的国际语言。

下面是教室。教室的玻璃可以变色，上课时是白色的，下课的时候一会儿红彤彤的，一会儿金灿灿的，一会儿绿油油的……五光十色，美丽极了。教室设有电子管控系统，校长、老师可以在办公室里观察教师讲课和学生听课情况。每个学生桌子上有一台精美的电脑和可视对讲机，老师讲课都用电脑，把每天要学的课程输入到电脑。如果谁溜号，电脑自动发出黄牌警告。桌椅可以调节高度，书桌堂是带有密码锁的抽屉，第一层放文具，第二层放书本，不用天天背沉重的书包了。

学校的广场十分宽阔。假山上绿树成阴，开着一年四季不凋谢的鲜花。假山上有泉水，泉水哗啦哗啦好象在唱歌，水花飞扬，带来阵阵清凉。假山下面是一片绿油油的草坪，草坪里有一些别致的凉亭，同学们可以在这里专心致志看书学习。
