回到家我听妈妈说才知道，这次表演最好的是：九班和十班还有一班和二班。我想这次不是最好的没关系，正所谓“尺有所短，寸有所长”，每个人都有自己的别人的优点。我也为得奖同学感到骄傲！听说所有英语老师还一起表演了 法语歌曲，我一直觉得他们只会唱英语歌，今天见到老也暗自下决心一定要学好英语。期待下次的英语节我们班也能得 希望下次我们能亲眼看别人班的表演。 这次的英语节真的非常有意义！

今天，天气转凉，大家都披上了大衣，来到了美丽的校园，小鸟似乎变少了，小草开始掉发了，大叔开始掉牙了，这意味着一年即将过去了，一眨眼十月已经过半，一年还有最后的三分之一，一天跟光速一般，在这光是的日子里发生了许多有趣的事情，在中学的每一节可我都听得非常认真听从老师指挥和安排，也在每一节课里紧紧抓住每一个知识点，虽然上课很死板，但有几堂课却让我记忆犹新，比如今天的英语课……

“叮铃铃”上课铃响了，我静静的坐在位子上等待老师上课，在我看来英语课有时有趣，有时却非常无聊，而今天这堂英语课让我改变了对它的看法，我相信这样有趣的课堂老师也一定发了不少心思来准备这堂课，在上课时老师突然给我们来了个对抗游戏，男生VS女生哪一方选手问题回答的多，那方就获胜。

比赛开始了，男生，女生都不甘示弱，勇于站起来回答问题，外面狂风大作，里面却是这番热闹的情景，一分钟过去了，二分钟过去了，三分钟过去了男生和女生之间出现了距离，眼看第一大题就要结束，我们男生非常着急，想挽回局面，正当我们要开始翻盘时，第一大题居然就这然结束了，不过还好，还有第二大题，谁赢谁输还不一定呢？第二大局开始了，经过一番调整的我们，又开始追逐了紧张又激烈的气氛依旧未停，男生们依然努力的追赶着分数，能追一分是一分，女生好像有点骄傲了，回答的人越来越少，我们分数渐渐多了起来，直到最后一题是我们只差女生两分了，当我们认为胜负已定时，老师突然说最后一题回答对加两分，这是我们脸上又有了笑容，因为班长把自己的手举得高高的，他是我们最后的一线希望了，你是男生唯一的靠山了，当老师在黑板上花了两个大星星后就意味着我们的努力没有白费，我们终于胜利了！

今天的这节有趣的英语课给我们打来了许多欢乐和笑声！

我回到了家里，问妈妈：“妈妈!家里有擦布吗?”妈妈说：“有啊，在阳台上呢”，我说：“哦!我知道了。”我找到擦布，洗了洗就去上学了。

我们同学到了学校，老师首先给我们分好工，有的擦窗户，有的擦墙壁，有的扫地，有的拖地……同学们干的热火朝天。我负责擦墙壁，擦着擦着，突然我看到一个个黄色的小点点，我擦呀擦呀，可是怎么也也擦不掉，它们好像在对我说：“你是擦不掉我的，哈哈。”听了这句话，我好像增加了许多的信心，于是我把擦布沾了一点水，再擦那些黄点时，它们越来越淡了，它们好像在说：“别再擦我了，我还想在墙上再住一年呢!”我的信心越来越多，最后把那些黄点擦得干干净净。我的同学们也都尽心尽力地把自己负责的卫生区打扫得很干净。

通过这件事，我明白了做任何事情都要有信心，遇到困难不能够有一丝的放弃，要坚持不懈，胜利就在你的面前。

第二天早上，学校的广播说我们班在全校的卫生评比中得了一百分，我们班的同学们都非常兴奋。

丁零零上课铃响了。这一节是数学课，瞧，电脑屏幕上，1、2、3、4、5几个数字在上面尽情地表演着一出童话剧。我们一边看，一边学，在不知不觉中，我们学到了很多的数学知识。瞧！我们看起来是多么自信呀！

幼儿园时，我第一次遇到我生命中的第一个老师，我以为“老师”是领养我的妈妈，以为妈妈不要我了，因此，在上小学前我一直很讨厌老师。直到上小学后，我才知道，“老师”是在校园里负责“教导我们的妈妈”，而不是“养母”。

傅素芬老师是我小学的班主任老师。她留着一头俏丽的短发，穿着朴素，常常跟我们打成一片。她的教学方式跟其他老师很不一样，她会站在我们的立场替我们着想。当有同学听不懂时，老师会请已经会的同学用小朋友的话语先讲给那些同学听，老师再从旁加以解说。傅老师是个非常仔细的人，她教学总是按部就班，慢慢的、耐心的教导。她时常告诉自己：“天下没有教不会的学生，只有不会教的老师。”由此可见，傅老师的自我要求很高。

不只有学校的“妈妈”，还有“爸爸”呢！Mr.van der Merwe是我们的外师，他有着一个圆滚滚的啤酒肚，体型十分壮硕，也是我们班的爸爸。他对我们要求很严格，讲求效率，就像是个中国传统的典型严父。有时候我们会觉得受不了，但是也能了解他的心情，身为一个老师，看见学生吵吵闹闹的当然会恼火。

一路走来，有很多老师的陪伴，他们为我带路，指引迷失的方向。也像茫茫大海中的灯塔，指示着正确的方向，给迷航中的小船带来希望。我，就是那艘正在航行中的小船，就算遇着了着狂风大浪我也不怕，依然充满信心的依着灯塔的指引，向前方划进。

Thanks for your last letter. Im so glad that you have been able (at last! ) to arrange a holiday in Australia. As I fear I wont be able to meet you at the airport when you arrive, nor will I be able to be home until later in the afternoon, so here are some instructions and suggestions.

There is a bus from the airport to the city. It is much cheaper than a cab. Take the bus to the city and ask to get off at Town Hall railway station.

To get to my place in the eastern suburbs you have three options. You can either take a cab, a bus or the train. I suggest you take the train, since the airport bus will leave you right at the station. Get off at Cliff Station. From there you can either walk to my place (about ten minutes) or take a taxi. Probably you should take a taxi as you will have luggage.

When you arrive at my flat, ring the intercom for Flat 2. My friend Lillian will be at home and she will open the front door for you and let you into my flat.

Presumably you will be tired and want to sleep. But if you feel like some exercise after that long flight, you could stroll down to Cooper Park, which is only ten minutes away ? you can see it from the window.

忽然，我看见在几个人的手里拿着一双溜冰鞋，我也很想买，于是，我就四处寻找这家店，终于，我眼睛一亮，找到了卖溜冰鞋的店。我喜出望外，一句话也不说，一下子拉住妈妈的手，直奔到对面，飞快地走进那家卖溜冰鞋的店，就对妈妈说：“妈妈，我要买溜冰鞋。”妈妈本来是不答应的，可见我那么想要一双溜冰鞋，才勉强答应了，妈妈还说：“那你得买得便宜一点儿的，要不然妈妈的钱不够用了。”我回答说：“好的。”我就在溜冰鞋店里寻找我心目中想要的那双溜冰鞋。我仔细地找啊找，虽然这家店的溜冰鞋很多，但是我足足找了十分钟，也没有找到我喜欢的那一双溜冰鞋，又过去了五分钟左右，还是找不到，并且鞋店已经有一大半的地方找过了，只有一小部分的地方没有找过，我心中的那一丝希望好像要破灭似的，所以我就要更加仔细点儿找才行，要不然我就白来了。

最后，我终于找到了一双既便宜又好看的溜冰鞋，付好钱后就回家了。

Computers are affordable for almost all people nowadays. As a result, an

increasing number of college students take computers to their dormitory to

browse website, watch movies and play video games and so on. This phenomenon has

caused lots of public concern. Some people believe that computer does bad to

students’ health for college students spend more than five hours staring at

computer without break every day. However, for other people, they are positive

to students’ owing computers because students can search for the newest

information. Standing on my point, I’m more tending to the first opinion.

Reasons are as the following:

Firstly, computers will transfer students’ attention. If students take

computers on campus, they would spend much time on computer than on study. For

instance, lots of my classmates usually play computer for amusement once class

is dismissed instead of going to the library to read more books to enlarge their

knowledge circle.

Secondly, students spend lots of time on computers which hurts their

health. It is quite often seen that students stay in dormitory for almost a

whole day without any breaks playing computers. It is all known that computers

have radiation which hurts eyes and skin.

To be honest, students can use computer to search for the updated

information that they want. But for the reasons above, I firmly believe that

students shouldn’t bring computers to college.

我有一个普通耐用的文具袋，虽然它已经很老旧的啦，但是我至今在用，它整整陪伴了我两年，我对他有十分特别的感情。
