Sichuan is located in the Upper Yangtze Valley in the southwestern part of the country. 古人语：“多多益善”。在我看来，“多多”未必“益善”。

做事，“多多”未必“益善”。在我们的词典里有个词语叫“适而可止”。也就是说，做什么事情到了一定程度就该停止，并非越多越好。做什么事情都要有个界限，如果超过了这个界限只能适得其反。

说话，“多多”也未必“益善”。一个喋喋不休者，像一只漏水的船，每一个乘客都希望赶快逃离它。多言是虚浮的象征，因为口头慷慨的人，行动很可能是吝啬的。

多说招惹，多言必失，多言多败。1825年，沙皇尼古拉一世平定了一场叛乱，将其中一名判乱领袖李列耶夫判处死刑。行刑的那一天，李列耶夫绞架的绳莫名其妙地断了。

在那个时候，这样的情况按惯例被认为是天意赦免。李列耶夫站起身来，确信自己安全了，就喊道：“俄国连制造绳索都不会，还能做什么大事呢?”

尼古拉一世本来已经签署了赦免令，但听到他说的这些话就改变了决定。沙皇说：“让我们用事实来证明一切吧。”于是他收回了赦免令。第二天，李列耶夫再次被推上绞架。这一次绳索没有断。

疑虑，“多多”也未必“益善”。多疑，是一个人精神上的瘫痪。它好像是思想上的一颗毒瘤，稍不注意，就会流出毒液，腐蚀人的思想。你就会丧失理智，以主观、片面、刻板的思维逻辑来主导自己的推理，毫无根据地进行判断。

大家都知道曹操在一次遇难后，躲到一亲戚家里。亲戚为了欢迎曹操的到来，欲杀猪款待曹操。一天清晨，亲戚家的人在院子里磨刀准备杀猪，曹操听到磨刀声后，便起了疑心，怀疑是不是亲戚家人要杀他。于是先下手为强，把亲戚一家人全都杀光了。

可见，在历史上，在生活中，“多多”未必“益善”的事情还是很多的。爱情多了，除了妻子还有情人;时间多了，除了无聊还是空虚;烦恼多了，除了烦恼还是烦恼……

所以，在我看来，“多多”未必“益善”!
