Last week, I received a post card from my friend, which was from Thailand,

I felt so excited, because I always wanted to travel abroad. So I was so eager

to talk to my friend. She showed me the sceneries. I found different sceneries

in different cities. For the first time, I saw the outside world so closely. I

want to explore the world and know more about this planet. I realized the

importance of learning English. If I master more words, then I can communicate

with the local people and learn about their culture. From now on, I must study

hard. When I have the chance to travel abroad, I can have a trip.

Travel is a very good means of broadening a person’s perspective. It makes you come into contact with different cultures meet people of different colors and go through peculiar rites and ceremonies. Travelling much you will not only enrich your knowledge and experiences but also be aware of the vastneof nature. Travel may also relieve person of boredom and gloom. Most people can afford traveling by bicycle which although slow can limber up your muscles and get you closer to nature.

Today is June 21st, Fathers Day. There is an indescribable feeling in my

heart, because I am not by their side, my parents are over 50 years old, and a

son cannot be filial by his side, and when the family is busy with farming, he

has to go to the construction site to sell his coolies in exchange for a little

bit. Poor wages.

I deeply remember the year when I went to school in 1999, my father told me

a sentence: "I can only put you in the car, and the future is up to you." I

During the summer holidays, I went to my grandmothers home. One evening after supper, I stood on the balcony to look at the sky.

The stars in the sky were twinkling. Some were crowded, and others were separate. Then I found that the stars were not the same colour. They were white, grey, light blue and orange. It was really beautiful. At that time, the sky was like blue damask decorated by millions of bright dimonds.

Looking up at the sky, I saw the moon. It was like a naughty child, sometimes it hid in the clouds and sometimes it got out of the clouds. It seemed to play “hide and seek” with us. The stars around the moon, however, were as shy as girls, and hid themselves in the clouds.

To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot. Legislative steps have been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and sea resources and to stop any environmental pollution. In my opinion, to protect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmental protection through education. 2.We can’t live without water, but now the water was polluted. It is the biggest problem. It influences our daily life. So we should find a way to solve this problem. Water is important resources. In our daily life, we often leave the tap on after cleaning hands. Sometimes we often drop litter in the river. So the water was polluted by us.
