The main function of public libraries is to provide books for people to

read.In a library,there are books on different subjects,such as Chinese

history,fine art,science,English literature,and so on.There are also works fo

fiction.

The public libraries are crowded with people on weekdays as well as Sundays

because many people,especially students who want to consult reference books for

their school work,know that they could at least learn something there.

Besides reading in the library,we can also borrow books with library

cards.But books on loan had to be returned within a couple of weeks.As far as I

know the number of people who borrow books from public libraries is increasing

year after year.

I go to the City Hall library twice a month to read.

My winner vacation is coming soon .I am so happy I decide to make a winter vacation plan .First, I will do my homework carefully Second ,I am going to help my mother with housework .Then,I want to play with my best friend.I will also visit my grangparents with my parents .We will spend Spring Festival with them.I think every day during my winter vacation will be happy.

As the fast development of television technology, the television programs

have been greatly improved. For one thing, there are much more kinds of programs

for audiences than before. For example, there are programs for the elderly or

children, some for females and some for males. Besides, some programs are

educational and some others are interesting that supply knowledge or

entertainment for audiences. For another, the quality of television programs are

better and better. Previously, television programs are largely identical but

with minor differences. People pay little attention on creativity but just copy

from others. The audiences complain that the television programs are so boring

even vulgar that they have little interest to sit down in front of the

television. But now, the situation is quite different. People are sticked in

their sofa to enjoy their favorite television programs. As to me, I like

watching movies and records. I can watch them on television anytime.

Everyone has his favorite teacher, so do I. My favourite teacher is Miss Wei, our English teacher. We felt English very difficult when we began to study English. Today is National Day on Oct.1st,2011, we have 7-day holiday, I just made a call to home but mom still didnt get home, I asked mother to try to call her to confirm her position right now in order to be convenient for taking fetch by my father in 6-cross roadmouth. New house has been finished nearly. Dad decided to resume working in Houzai Glass factory just for 350yuan monthly even actually I dont want him to work back. there are 7 days holiday I will take for Chinese National Day. But maybe I need on duty every day. I will come back to Dongguan today.

Times goes fast, my second year of high school is coming soon. In the first year, I got used to the new environment and kept focusing on my study. I felt like something was lost in my life, because I was too busy and did not have time to read novel books. So in the new semester, I must make a plan to better adjust my life pace.
