沿着小路往前就到了人工湖。走近一看，湖水显得浑浊不堪，湖边漂浮着许多杂物，有塑料袋、餐巾纸、折断的小树枝。沙滩上，玩耍后的人们走后一片狼藉，瓜子壳、零食袋、小木棍遍地都是。湖对面本来是一片郁郁葱葱的树林，现在已经立起了一座座别墅。我抬起头望了望灰蒙蒙的天空，心里真不是滋味。

想想以前，这里的环境那么好，天空湛蓝深远，空气清新甜润，简直是一座天然氧吧。可随着游客的增多，这里的环境在一天天被破坏。

我真希望人们在欣赏美景的同时也能注意自己的文明行为，时刻记住“淮南是我家，文明靠大家”。让咱们共同努力，创建美好的家园。

In this way city citizens will be encouraged to move there to live and work. If these three proposals are well carried out， the city population will be greatly reduced.

Man has also modified the face of the earth by draining marshes and cutting through mountains to build roads and railways.

However, mans changes to the physical environment have not always had beneficial results. Today, pollution of the air and water is an increasing danger to the health of the planet. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. Now environmental protection is more pressing than ever before. As we know, massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to mans existence.
