一、构思、准备不充分，匆忙下笔

任何一篇作文出题都是有它独特的道理的，所以提前审题和构思就显得必不可少了。很多孩子目前存在一个情况，想到哪写到哪，有记流水帐的习惯;这也造成了作文杂乱无章，毫无条理，同时容易出现写错单词和用错句型的情况。

二、中心重点不突出，切题不准确

原句：While they were playing tennis， she started an argument that lasted all morning.

1、巧用单个词：即用一个单词代替一组意义相同的单词。比如：

用forget(忘记)代替do not remember(没有记住)

用ignore(忽视)代替do not pay attention to(不注意)

用now(现在)代替at this point in time(此时此刻)

用because(由于)代替due to the fact that(鉴于下列事实)

2、省略同义词或近义词。比如在下面例句中，形容词important(重要的)和significant(有重要意义的)，就是两个同义词(也可以说是近义词)，我们可以省略important，只保留significant。

3、在不改变句子含义的前提下，省略所有可以省略的单词。比如在下面例句中，the cover of the book(书的封面)可以省略成the book cover，is red in color(是红色的)可以省略成is red。

现在我们把这三种方法结合起来，将一个冗长、绕嘴的句子，改写成一个简短、易懂的句子。

5、删除诸如"who is”或"that is"之类的关系代词，变从句为短语。比如：

修改后：The three-part novel told a story set in the Middle Ages.

Japan was fun. It was very cool and windy. We flew kites in the park. I bought a watch there. I wanted to buy more, but I didnt have money. the gardens there were beautiful. I liked them the best. the department stores were too big. I couldnt find Mom. the food was delicious. We ate a lot of fish, and I also liked the vegetables and cake there. After school life my biggest hobby is watching books.

课余生活我的最大的爱好就是看课外书。

小时候，我就养成了看课外书的习惯，什么《科学家的故事》、《365夜故事》、《孔子》等等，我都看过。我从《科学家的故事》书里，知道了飞机是“莱特兄弟”发明的，从《孔子》的故事里，知道了孔子小时候家里很穷，可孔子认真学习，成了中国伟大的思想家。

有一次，妈妈叫我吃早饭，我说“马上就来”，但是我的眼睛一直在看《十万个为什么》的故事书上，妈妈催了我好几次，一直到我将一个故事看完，我才放下书，去吃早饭时，发现已经十二点了，该吃午饭了。

我还从课外书中学到了许多好词好句，比如“身轻如燕”、“喜气洋洋”、“肥头大耳”、“丢三落四”、“大花脸、招风耳”、“我长着两个细长的眉毛，就像两个倒下来的小括号”等等。丰富了我的词汇，我现在终于明白了看书的好处。

就这样，看书成了我生活中不可缺少的一部分。

I have moved to my new school since Septmber. It is a modern and nice school which is in Beijing. It has a playground, a library, several labs, classrooms with electronic equipment and so on. Its quite different from my old school. Its larger, much more modern. This is why I love my new school. If you are free, you are warmly welcomed to come to our school to have a look.

My hometown is located in western hubei province, is a good place for beautiful scenery. Today Ill give you introduce the scenic spots in my hometown.

First of all I want to introduce is "shennong xi". It is a beautiful river, the river clear, on both sides of the picturesque, like a beautiful little girl between the mountains.

My hometown has a mysterious "passive hole". It is located in the mountains between, very long and narrow hole, the hole of the water is warm in winter and cool in summer, strange stalactites cave there are a lot of image, and bats, for passive hole was always full of suspense adds a layer of mysterious color.

我的家乡位于湖北省西部，是一个风景秀丽的好地方。今天我就给大家介绍一下我家乡的风景名胜。

首先我要介绍的是“神农溪”。它是一条美丽的河流，河水清澈，两岸风景如画，犹如一个美丽的少女生在大山之间。

我的家乡还有神秘的“无源洞”。它位于大山之间，洞非常狭长，洞里的水冬暖夏凉，洞中有很多形象怪异石钟乳，还有蝙蝠，给本来就充满悬念的无源洞添上一层神秘的色彩。

最后我给大家介绍一下“秋风亭”。它的来头就很大了，因为寇准年轻的时候曾经在我们巴东县当过3年的县令，寇准的县衙就设在了秋风亭。秋风亭造型美观大方，气势磅礴，每当人们看到它就会想起寇准当年在巴东立下的丰功伟绩。

The new semester is coming and I want to make a plan for it. Firstly, I will work as hard as before. I really did a good job last term, so I want to keep good as well. During the summer holiday, I did some previews and I found that the courses are not very hard. Secondly, I will spend more time in reading. Reading is really good to a person, because we can learn a lot from books and broaden one’s horizon. Besides, reading can help us think more and deeply. Finally, I will take part in exercises actively and regularly. No matter how busy I am, I will set sometime aside to build my body which is the basic of any other things. Moreover, after doing exercise, I feel so fresh and relaxed that I can put my whole heart in doing something, such as study, reading, thinking and so on. So this is the plan for the new semester and I am sure I can carry it out step by step.
