How can such a little boy who had already suffered oppressive affliction remain pure in body and mind? The reason is the nature of goodness. I think it is the most important information implied in the novel by Dickens—he believed that goodness could conquer every difficulty. Although I dont think goodness is omnipotent yet I do believe that those who are kind-hearted live more happily than those who are evil-minded.

For me the nature of goodness is one of the most necessary character for a person. Goodness is to humans what water is to fish. He who is without goodness is an utterly worthless person. On the contrary as the famous saying goes The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose he who is with goodness undoubtedly is a happy and useful person. People receiving his help are grateful to him and he also gets gratified from what he has done and thus he can do good to both the people he has helped and himself.

To my disappointment nowadays some people seem to doubt the existence of the goodness in humanity. They look down on peoples honesty and kindness thinking it foolish of people to be warm-hearted. As a result they show no sympathy to those who are in trouble and seldom offer to help others. On the other hand they attach importance to money and benefit. In their opinion money is the only real object while emotions and morality are nihility. If they cannot get profit from showing theirkindness they draw back when others are faced with trouble and even hit a man when he is down. They are one of the sorts that I really detest.

Francis Bacon said in his essay Goodness of all virtues and dignities of the mind is the greatest being the character of the Deity and without it man is a busy mischievous wretched thing no better than a kind of vermin.

几天前，南京发布了雾霾红色预警，学校都停课了。我无聊地在家看着电视，心想：雾霾啊雾霾，你什么时候走啊?不经意间，我朝窗外看去。天哪!天空灰蒙蒙的，失去了往日那湛蓝的色彩，像一块很久没有擦试的镜子;远处几座高楼大夏补大雾淹没了。四周一片模糊;来来往往的行人们都戴着口罩。大街上还是往日的繁华，可是这里的天是灰的，空气也是灰的，整个南京像一条很脏很脏的毛巾，空气中满是灰尘，繁华的景象似乎也被这无限的灰笼罩住了，每个人心中一片灰暗。

这时，耳边传来了天气预报：“明日雾霾将继续笼罩南京，请大家做好防卫工作……”我面对灰色的南京，情不自禁地想：大家要少开车，少抽烟，保护环境人人有责，不要让雾霾使南京变成灰色!

星期四的上午，我又像以前一样早早的起床了，当我准备背包去上学的时候，爸爸说：“我宣布今天因为雾霾天气不用上课了。”我听了后半信半疑地问：“真的吗?”爸爸拿出手机给我看短信，我一看，呀，真的，有学校的短信，不上课。

那雾霾是什么啊?我带着疑问，问爸爸。爸爸说，你到阳台上向外看看就知道了。我跑向阳台，向外一望，呀!外面雾蒙蒙的，黑乎乎的看不清楚。近一点的东西只能看见轮廓，远一点地方的东西就看不清楚了，远处的高楼和紫金山都看不见了。这时爸爸也走了过来，他说：“你看到的就是雾霾，走，我们外出买菜去。”我随爸爸走出家门，天不像以前一样碧蓝了，空气不像以前一样清新，汽车都开着灯行驶，小鸟们飞来飞去，像是找不到家了。整个天空就像被灰色的笼子罩住了一样。再看看人们都带起来口罩，可我没有口罩，吸了几口气，空气真难闻啊，有一种难闻的烟味，我忍不住咳嗽了好几下。我想：以前大家都不爱惜环境，吸烟，汽车尾气这些都会污染环境，现在这么差的空气会让人生病，比如：感冒、发烧、咳嗽。

我想对那些污染空气的人们说：将污染空气的不好的行为都改掉吧。以后，我们要多坐公共交通工具，少开车，过年不要放鞭爆，多多种树，整治雾霾，让我们多呼吸新鲜空气。让我们一起来做一个文明的“环保小卫士”吧!

it has done great harm to our daily life.many traffic accidents happened just because of the heavy haze weather，more and more people have to go to see the doctor because the serious disease caused by the haze，quite a lot of flights have to be put off，a great number of people have to stay at home for fear of the poisonous air caused by the haze.

People have realized the great harm caused by the smog and the importance of protecting the environment.people all over the country are taking measures to reduce the smog weather.the government suggests people go to work or school with the public traffic， such as the bus and the underground.Also we should plant more trees.One of effective solutions to help eliminate haze is to make some chemistry changes during the manufacturing process，so it could reduce harmful emissions which are produced by manufacturing operations According to me， I will go to school by bike or on foot， and I won’t throw the waste anywhere.in addition， I will tell the people I meet to protect the environment as possible as they can.would you like to tell me some good ideas?i’m looking forward to your reply. The smog in Beijing has been caused by many factors， in which the increase of cars in the city area plays an important role. The cars send off a lot of poisonous gases， which in turn adds to the already serious air pollution.

In my opinion， the number of cars should be limited. We should call on the people to use more public transport. Only in this way can we expect to have more sunny days.

Haze is mist floating a lot of smoke, dust and other particles and

时光流逝到2035年，我的家乡--揭阳遭受了历史上最可怕的雾霾，雾中夹杂着许多对人体有害的pm2、5，甚至还有许多比pm2、5更小的有害物质。雾霾刚起的那几天，我市就有14人因吸入有害物质导致病变死亡，市民出行都是戴着口罩的。

后来雾霾越来越严重，就是戴着口罩也防不胜防因为有害物质从毛孔进入，所以这几天又连续有19人病变身亡。面对这样的环境，许多人只能背进离乡，我们一家也是逃亡者之一。我们在半路的心情是快乐又难过。我们乐，是因为我们终于逃出那片"死亡之地"。

我们难过，是因为我们离开了晡育找们多年，供我们衣食住行的家乡--揭阳。昔日，那里的树木多而茂密，可是现在却成了一个又一个的树桩子，小河里鱼虾常出来游玩的，可实现在小河夹杂一股刺鼻的臭味，鱼虾都不知去向了。一些塑料厂.炼油厂.硫酸厂等厂家都将工业污水排进去。

汽车和工业废气也将天空涂成黒色的，下雨也变成酸雨。想到这儿，我心中十分害怕。已经逃走了，我害怕什么？我怕的就是那句古话"已有的事后必再有"，我怕其他地区也会像我们家乡一样成为一片"死亡之地"，尽管事未发生，在此时的我已经无法形容那种可怕，如果真的那样，那么和世界末日就没什么区别了。就在这时，我从梦中醒来，想起这个梦，我就想说一声："请保护环境，破坏环境只会让人类自身走向灭亡。

一场大雾在人们不知不觉中悄然而至。一大早刚起床，就看见外面白茫茫的一片，哎呀，又下雾了。

最近这几周这空气也不知道是怎么了，几乎每周都要来上一场浓雾，一出门，大街上浓雾弥漫，仿佛走进了伸手不见五指的迷魂洞，那乳白色的雾像轻盈的烟尘又似穿不透的薄纱，时时刻刻围绕在身边。

走在路上，只能看清楚自己身旁的东西，连对面高大的楼房都已经模糊看不清了，转头却突然看到了马路上看不到尽头的汽车，再看看这讨厌的鬼天气，我仿佛看到了工厂烟囱排放的滚滚黑烟，我仿佛看到了烟花散去后那满天的烟尘，我仿佛看到了焚烧秸秆的漫天浓烟……

很多人可能没有想过，这雾霾是怎么来的，有因必有果，当马路上的车流量一日比一日多的时候，当鞭炮“噼噼啪啪”响起的时候，就注定了我们一定要吃这样的苦果。看看春节期间，好容易这烟花量比往年少了一些，谁知这商家开业及元宵节放的鞭炮比春节都多，好一个火树银花不夜天，可是，这不夜天换回来的不仅是一次盛大的视觉宴会，更多的是一次又一次的雾霾天气，这飘逸在空气中的细小颗粒物，一般的口罩根本抵挡不住，只会给人们带来一次又一次的伤害。

汽车尾气、重金属、危险化学品、电子废物、土壤等引发的环境问题已经威胁人体健康和公共安全，让我们行动起来，从我做起，为保护我们的家园做出贡献!
