刚放假的那会儿，妈妈要上班，白天都是我一个人在家，妈妈只是中午回家做个午饭。妈妈说过，做事情要前紧后松。我希望早点完成作业，所以我基本按照学校的作息时间，不过，我早上起床当然没有上学的时候的早，上学时，天还没亮就要起床了。才几天，老师布置的书面作业，我就已经完成了，剩下的就是每天背唐诗，复习英语以及把这学期没有做完的练习题完成。在空闲的时候，我会看课外书，这个寒假我已经看了几本课外书——《中国儿童文学》，《爱的教育》，有时候我也会看《读者》。我现在正在看作家周国平写的《妞妞》。

经过一番颠簸，我们来到了烈士陵园。一走进大门。首先映入眼帘的是一块硕大的石碑，上面生动的刻画了战士们在战场上冲锋陷阵的画面。这又让我想起了当年那段战争岁月，无数革命前辈，为了共和国的诞生，和敌人英勇作战，有许多战士献出了自己年轻的生命。我们怀着沉痛的心情，在老师的带领下缓缓地走到了宽阔的广场上，在写着“革命前辈永垂不朽”八个大字的纪念碑下，我们全体师生举行了隆重的祭扫仪式。从朗诵到宣誓，每一句真挚的话语都代表了我们对革命烈士们的无限崇敬和怀念。接着，我们绕着位于陵园中心的圆形烈士墓走了一圈。这里长眠着二十四位烈士，有的连姓名都没留下。我的耳畔传来阵阵低沉的哀乐，轻轻的，每一个同学的脚步都是轻轻的，生怕吵醒了已经“熟睡”的烈士们。我们为烈士们献上了自己动手做的小白花，花朵虽小，也不精致，却代表了我们的心意。最后，我们来到了历史博物馆，它为我们展示了无数烈士们的感人事迹与生平简介，为我们陈列了烈士们的光荣证明和遗物。虽然他们可能只是一名普通的士兵，但他们都监守着自己的岗位，为祖国、为人民作出了自己的贡献。

在即将离开的时候，我被门口一块不大的石碑吸引住了。上面刻着毛主席亲手写的八个大字：“生的伟大，死的光荣。”这不就是描写了所有牺牲了的革命先辈们吗?

走出烈士陵园，我感慨万千。让我们共同继承先辈遗志，珍惜眼前的大好时光，努力学习，积极向上，长大为祖国作出自己的贡献。

Last evening, we had a power cut at eight oclock.

At that moment, Mr.Zhang was watching an NBA match. Its really exciting!

But he missed the end, because of the power cut.

And there was also something terrible with Mrs. Zhang. She was

in the lift and couldnt get out. She was afraid of the dark and began to

shouting, but no one answered.

When the power cut, Judy, the daughter of Mr. Zhang and Mrs. Zhang, was

sleeping. As a result, she didnt know about it.

Last evening Tom, Judys brother, was having a birthday party with his

classmates. They were lighting the candles when the power cut. But they thought

that it was a trick by one of them. So they felt more exciting and began to sing

and dance. Was a great wonderful party!

I enjoy singing very much. While singing, my heart as well as my body is

joyful. When Im happy, I often sing out to share my happiness with others. I

also sing out to pour out my bad feelings when Im upset.

I like pop music most, because I want to follow the trend. I prefer soft

music to rock music. Since we may be very tired after a long days work, we need

a rest very much. Perhaps soft music is the best recreation for us. My favorite

pop stars are JJ and Jay Chou. They always make a wonderful performance on the

stage. Their songs are so charming. I admire them very much.

In my spare time, I often sing a song to others. Everyone is so happy to be

my listener, because Im very brave and confident. Even though I couldnt be a

professional singer, I can still get a lot of good fun from singing. Because of

singing, my life becomes more colorful.

A Visit to the Flower Show

Last week Nature Park held a flower show. I went to visit it with my friends. I was very glad to see so many beautiful flowers in the park. I was really amazed to see a sea of colourful

flowers. They told me that some rare flowers came from Taiwan. Thousands of people stopped and watched them carefully. I took many pictures there. Taiwan has always been a part of our country. I am sure sooner or later we can go there to see many more beautiful flowers. What great fun it will be.
