My mother takes care of me all the time, she is around me when I need help. 每次周五回家总是一进家门便看到母亲在忙前忙后。我爱我母亲，特别是她的勤劳、要强等精神，值得我用一辈子去学习。

我们家以前是农民，驻马店人，在我四岁那年，父母为了让我们姐弟俩受到更好的教育，便搬来了郑州。

母亲一共有我和姐姐两个孩子，姐姐今年已上大三。我的母亲原是本是名教师，后来因嫁给我父亲，只得做一个家庭主妇，照顾一大家子，再后来又生了我和姐姐。也就只能整天待在家里教育孩子。直至几年前爷爷去世了，我和姐姐也长大了，学习和生活上能自理了，于是，我的妈妈——一个年近半百的人儿又出去打工了，赚点钱补贴家用。

在我的记忆中，母亲几乎总是在忙碌。爷爷是由他的孩子也包括我的父亲按顺序轮流进行赡养的，轮到就照顾两个月。于是，我的母亲有时还要兼照顾我爷爷。我在母亲的带动下，也开始做些力所能及的事。渐渐地，扫地、洗碗、擦桌子等家务活就被我承包了。母亲十分要强，自然也不愿他的孩子学习太差。所以对我也比较严苛，于是小学时期，我也就成了班中的佼佼者。母亲的学历紧仅到初三，而且现在课本上的知识安排也越来越靠前，所以母亲那时初中的知识，我们小学差不多就已学完，所以上初中后，母亲也就无力再辅导我了，我的成绩自然要有些跌落。

我家家境不太富裕，而小姨家家境却还不错，所以我家不经常买衣服，我都是捡我表哥们穿剩下的穿，再加上我近几年个儿长得极快。所以衣服换新的频率也比较快，以至于我每次回老家，都要进行一次“大扫荡”，把表哥们的旧衣服通通拿走。

尽管来到郑州后一开始生活还比较艰苦，但由于母亲的聪明能干、持家有方，近几年家境倒也慢慢的好转起来。平日里我们都是吃一些家常小菜，但每到周末，母亲也会变成法子给我们改善生活。我那时最喜欢的时光，自然也就是过年的时候了。每次过年，不仅能收到压岁钱，大鱼大肉也能吃个够。母亲是个事无巨细的人，自制力也很强，从不多花一分钱，从不买任何无用的东西。我与姐姐受到母亲的影响，也从来都不要零花钱，选学校也是优先选择学费比较便宜的学校，所以我现在上的初中也是上的公立学校，可以免学费，不过我没想到的是这个学校的餐费却十分昂贵，但母亲十分尊重我的选择，每次都是按时交餐费，而且从来没有抱怨过。

我应该感谢我母亲，是她教给了我自强不息的精神和勤俭节约的意识。也是她不管我对她是否有所怨恨，一直坚持将我的坏毛病给改掉，让我努力成为更好的自己。
