当一张张的奖状挂在床头时，她终于欣慰的笑了，笑得比任何时候都灿烂，因为，这就是对她最好的回报。

假如许多年后，我成为了老师，我会告诉那群可爱的学生们：一个人要想真正读懂人生的真谛，不妨回去握握母亲的脚，那是一部比任何经典教材都具有震撼力的巨著，读懂了她，你就读懂了整个人生。

There is an old saying goes that failure is the mother of success. Everyone

confronts with failures even those famous and successful figures. Some people

say that failure lashes them to work harder. Some think that failures are so

depressing and we should not to make any failures. For me, I cherish failures

very much for we can realize our shortcomings from them.

First of all, we can learn from failure and get more experience. It is

indeed so disappointed when we confront with failure. However, we can always get

some experience from failures and makes us understand our weak point. If we can

learn from failure, then we will avoid such problem in the coming days.

Secondly, the more failures, the more successful we will be. As the old

saying goes that failure is the mother of success. The more failure we make, the

more successful we will be. If we make many mistakes, then we will learn a lot

from them and will do better when we meet the same kind of problems. This means

we will obtain great success if we meet more failures.

All in all, failure is a bad thing for people, but it is a good chance for

us to learn more from it and become successful in the future.

您好！感谢您这么多年的照顾，您对我的爱是无法用语言来表达的，不管是生活上还是学习上都对我无微不至。每天清晨，您总是第一个起床，在厨房里忙碌着，为我端来热腾腾的白米粥。下午当你刚刚结束完一天劳累的工作，一回到家就忙着做各种营养的晚餐给我吃，丝毫顾不上坐下来休息一下。晚上，台灯下，您帮我检查作业。几乎每天这样，日复一日、年复一年，可您却一点儿也不厌倦，仍然是这样奉献自己，去照亮我。

有一次，我在给家里养的乌龟换水，不小心手一滑，鱼缸打碎了，我的手上出现了一道深深的血痕，血拼命的往外涌，您急忙用纸把我手上的血擦掉，用手绢把伤口包起来，这时外面寒风呼啸还下着雨，您不顾一切，冒着风雨把我送到医院。医生说：口子太深要缝针，因为是第一次，又看着流了那么多血，我害怕极了，不停的流着泪。是您在旁边再三的鼓励，我终于鼓起勇气，就这样一针一线的，伤口终于缝好了。我抬头发现妈妈头上一粒粒的汗珠，好像那不是在帮我缝针一样，这时我想起您每天为我而操心的样子，我的眼泪又不经的流了下来。

妈妈！您为我可以不顾一切，我却总让你操心，妈妈！我以后再也不让您担心了。

人世间最伟大的爱莫过于父母之爱,它是无私的付出,不求回报的辛劳。都是说母爱似水，母爱是这世界上最伟大的爱，感谢您给我生命，使我来到这个美丽的世界，让我享受到老师的爱，同学的爱，朋友的爱……让我感受到阳光的温暖、风雨的磨练。我爱您，我爱我身边的人，我爱我身边的一切！

Dear Liu Dong,

I＇m back at school now. I wish to express my thanks to you for the wonderful vacation I spent with you and your family. During the vacation you taught me how to swim, boat and fish. I really appreciate① your taking time off work to take② me around and show me so many places.

Your mother is such a terrific③ cook! I think I must have gained 10 pounds just in the week I spent with you. Surely I＇ve spent a happy vacation, which will be remembered for long.

I hope you will be able to visit our school sometime. Thank you again. Let＇s keep in touch.
